Hi Ladies

I hope you are all doing as well! Looking forward to further updates on all of your progress! Just dropping a quick note as kinda tired from having friends over for dinner so personals will have to wait until next time. I am thinking of all you anyway and wishing you the very best!

As for me - I'm just hanging in there waiting for my 2 Scan on May 30th. I've been a bit nervous and this 2ww between scans has taken forever! I have no feelings that thing aren't going well - I just can't wait to see our little beanie again! My dad has told me the reason he is trying the 2 treatment a week protocol for his cancer this time is to hopefully be able to live long enough to see this baby born. He adores our DD and she was his hope when he went through the first round of treatments in the winter. This round of treatments will only buy him a little more time but can't cure him. I hate to see him do this to himself since it will make him so sick. But I want him around as long as possible with as little pain as possible. He's been my best friend my whole life - I was adopted and him and my mom are the best parents I could ever have hoped for. Well enough about me. Wishing all of you lovely ladies much Baby Angel Dust.

Love,
Christine

hey ladies, I got back home late last night from my trip to Vegas. Bon Jovi and Daughtry put on a GREAT concert. Tiger Woods actually got up and spoke a few words before Bon Jovi came on stage. My friend and I had a blast. I can't wait till they tour again.

Looks like lots has happened on here since I was here last. Karia, so sorry for your bfn. Life is so unfair sometimes. Take care of yourself!

Christine, I had a question for ya. I go Friday for my first scan. On your first scan, what was your RE able to see? just the sac? I'm really nervous about mine.

Karia - Thank you honey! Your prayers are much appreciated. So sorry about your best friend going through all of that and losing the battle. Hopefully she is in a better place. Wishing you the very best in the future!

Jovigal - Wow! You must have had a fantastic time at the concert! Good for you! As far as my first scan which was 6 wks and 2 days along - they saw the yolk sac and the little beanie which was about the size of a grain of rice and a wonderful little heart beating like crazy at 120bpm. They were able to tell that it was in a good location in my uterus as well. So it may not look like much when you first see it - but to see that hearbeat blinking on the screen is amazing! I can't wait for my May 30th scan since it will show an amazing difference from the first one. Hopefully it will go well. Wishing you the very best results on your scan this Friday.

Take Care Ladies!

Love,
Christine

Hi everybody!!!!, I am back from Argentina, and I was reading your posts!!

Susan....how are you feeling?, congrats again!!, when is your next beta/scan?

Christine.....how did your scan go on the 30th?

Jovigal.....you are going today for your scan right?, wishing you the best of luck!!!, keep us posted!!!!

Donna.....I am so sorry that you are so sad, I totally understand your feelings, and I too felt like you when I m/c I would have rather had a BFN than m/c, but on the other side, you now know that you can become pregnant, if you would have had a BFN you would never know wether you can or cannot get pg, and that is soooooooooo important, so hang in there, your dream will come true soon!!!

How's everybody else???

Daly.....where are you in your cycle now?

I finished my last BCP yesterday, will go on Tuesday for my baseline scan and bw and start stims then, I am so excited about starting again, I hope this is the one for me!!!!!!

Hi vicky how was the hoilday???? What all did yu do while you were there???

I have a scan on Tue week and not having to do betas this time round. I dont know if that is a good thing or a bad as i liked to know what my levels were but i supose it was quite an expence and a worry having to wait to get results. Still got Af pains an dmy (.)(.) are really growing so i now something is happening. we ar not telling anyone until after we have the first scan and then it will just be family. Although my parents will be coming down next week if my dad is alowed to travel we stay 400 miles away and we will tell them then as well as James mum and dad. i cant wait to tell my dad. i will make his life and give him something to keep fighting his cancer for.

hey vicky, welcome back. so, you'll start stimming next week? seems like once you start stimming, the 2ww is on ya. I wish you the best this cycle.

I had my 1st scan today. RE said all looked good. I'm 5wks today and am officially due 2-1-07 (a singleton). I go back on June 11th for 2nd scan and should see heartbeat then. Last time when I m/c, on my 2nd scan, I was measuring 4 days behind and I just didn't feel good about it. I m/c a week later. So, needless to say, I'm on pins and needles at this point and won't allow myself to enjoy being pg until I make it to the 12th week.

susan, good luck with your scan Tues!!!!!!!

Christine - how did your scan go, did you see much more detail this time? so sorry to hear about your dad having cancer. Sounds like he has a will to live. God does bless us with miracles. Our faith makes us whole.

karia - how are you doing hun?

Hi guys,

I've been off-line for a bit and was really touched to see you were all still thinking of me. My darling boy died last Saturday. It is a horrible story and I'm not ready to go into details. The very same day we went and found Winnie. He is a 2 1/2 lb pomeranian and would have made his brother very proud! He seems very smart and we see alot of our Wolfy in him. My acupuncturist said he will bring great "yang" energy. He is quite a handful, but well worth it.

Susan - I've not been posting after the loss of Wolfy. Still recovering. But, I was completelyt thrilled to read your news! That is so fantastic. My chest leapt with joy when I read about your bfp! How wonderful. Speaking of big bbs, I've had to were larger bras since last IVF in April. My (.)(.) have not "recovered". They are even a bit sore now and I just started stims....!!

Jovigal - I so understand your fear of feeling joy. My dh and I joked that until the baby is talking, we won't quite believe it! I'm sending extra prayers for your scans. I know I would get sick to my stomach before each scan after so many mc's. Pamper yourself tons and be really gentle with eachother. Your beta looks great! (btw, I would have loved to have seen that concert!)

Christine - Sounds like you were blessed with a wonderful dad. We are praying for him to meet your amazing little baby on the way.

Vicky - I just started stims last night. So we will only be a few days apart. :D I had to do 4 shots!!! OUCH! (growth hormone, menopur, follistim and lurpon) Poor belly. I had to ice twice because it would thaw on one half before I could get done with all the shots! Good luck on your scan Monday. I think we'll either have Pisces babies or Aquarius. Sounds nice!

Geckogirl - Your drinks on the beach sound lovely. Have one for me? I have an open bottle of dessert wine in the fridge calling my name and it will go bad soon. But, the nazi stim leaders say "no". So, we'll see if my will power holds out or maybe just a tiny sip would be OK... I'm sorry to hear you are sad. I've also had such sad moods since my last bfn. Time does help, but it sure goes by slowly. Where in Northern California are you?

Charlie - I am exhausted too. I swear I could sleep 24 hours a day! This is really making it tough to keep up with a very spry puppy! I was hoping the stims would give me a boost last night. They did help me sleep better, but I still had to peel myself out of bed! I hope your headaches are improving. I snuck in an occasional latte here and there and it did help some. I read it was fine, especially during down-regging. My RE and his partner swear the Lupron really tends to improve egg quality. Let's hope it does the trick for us.

Karia - Sending you a huge hug. I just hate bfns. I hope you are finding some comforting things to do. I know we went to Disneyland after my last bfn, and I was even sad there!!! That's pretty bad. When do you see your RE again?

Donna - Sending you a big hug. I totally feel the same way. I much prefer a bfn to a mc. Not sure there is a good reason for it, but it's alot easier on me emotionally. I could see it being very different if we had never been pregnant before. When do you start up again?

Ok, puppy is wanting to stop the "watch mommy type on the computer game" He has typed mult lines himself that required quite a bit of editing. So, I will feed us both and get back to work. Thank you all for thinking of me during this sad week. I was thinking of you as well. It's really nice to "see" you all again.

xoxo

Daly - its good to read you again. I am so so sorry about Wolfy. I'm sure you gave hime the very best life. Give Winnie a good cuddle from me - he sounds so cute and will definitely keep you busy! My headaches have gone - thank you for asking! Iknow what you mean about the larger (.)(.), mine haven't shrunk from the last time either, and I'm worried that they are just going to keep growing and growing. They weren't small to begin with

Susan - I posted on your thread - but CONGRATULATIONS!!!! again to you and DH. I'm so sorry to read about your Dad.

Jovigal - congrats on your scan and your one beanie - looking forward to your 2nd scan on the 11th LOL.

Christine - how was your scan?

Vicky - nice to have you back! Good luck with baseline on Tues!

Susan - I'm ok thanks - I've had this week off (half term) so have spent the week IVF free with DH. Really don't want to go back to work Monday! Nevermind only 7 weeks, then we have 6 weeks summer holiday! Having a few hot flushes a day with the down regging but other than that feeling ok! I joined Slimming World on Monday - trying to shed some of the weight I gained through IVF
I bet you are really looking froward to your scan on Tuesday. I know you are staying cautious, so I am keeping everything crossed for you!

What are ivig for your immunes?

Are you watching Big Brother, or is that not your thing?

Take care of you and beanie
