Hello Girls... Finally sitting down to check all my emails for today. Lots to check up on....

CasyP- you must be so happy to be on maternity leave now... also glad to hear DD is doing well in her new room. That's also great news that your immune to the slap cheek.

Racheal- congrats on DH getting a job... what a relief. Hope you had a good time at your baby shower.

Nance- so today was your last day of work... how excited are you? I did have a Strep B test and it was negative. Keep us posted on your results. Well you must be excited that DH is almost done w/ the nursery... can't wait to see some pictures of it.

Cowgirl- Wow that was fast... it looks like we'll be having another baby join us very soon. I hope everything is going well for you and that your delivery goes smoothly. Please keep us posted....

Colleen- ok this is getting to strange... we also had to go back to the hospital yesterday afternoon to have a blood test for jaundice for Aubrey. I say we just stop trying to be at the same place at the same time and just meet... maybe plan a play date. We'll actually be in Huntley tomorrow for a BBQ - Aubrey's first family BBQ (although it will probably be a short visit). Gavin is such a cutie.... what an adorable going home outfit.

Kim- good luck on all of your appointments next week... sounds like you'll be going pretty soon as well! I'm jealous you had a pedicure & massage - I could so use a massage right now.

As for us we're doing well... my milk has also come in - although pumping is better for me right now than actually breastfeeding. Aubrey really doesn't latch on and it's actually hard for me to feed her w/ my breast becuase they are large and hard to manuveur. However, she is a great eater & sleeper - I think we'll keep her.... I'm going to post pictures right now.

I hope everyone is doing well and keeping your bellies healthy & happy - until those little ones arrive.

Tasha

Tasha--I'm glad things are going well for you and Aubrey! She is such a cutie! I checked her pics on the bucket....too sweet! So you're ta-ta's are too much for her to handle? I never thought of that. At least the pumping is going well. You gotta do whatever works, right? Have fun at the barbecue! I hope she does well.

Cowgirl...I assume your baby is here by now. I hope everything went well!

tasha- she is so cute... we will have to get together and have the little ones meet... as for BFing... i would say to try the football/side hold.. i too have large BBs and it's the only way that works for me... not too convient, but works.. glad that she is a good eater and sleeper... Gavin's awake time is the middle of the night.. so i'm not getting much sleep during the night... DH has given me time every day to nap, and he deals with the other two.. have fun at the BBQ- i do not know if you travel Algonquin rd, but avoid it if you can!!! it's a mess!!!!

cowgirl- hope that things are well, and baby is here... just waiting for the news

jeck- hope that you can get jaden soon, and have a great trip for his birthday, and meeting all of his friends...

kim- soon girl... you are doing great!!! i can not wait to see what you are having.... you have made it so far already!!i wish i had a little heaven of a massage... someday soon i hope!! maybe after all the cramps get better...

hope that everyone else is well and taking care of your bellies/babies.. keep us posted!!!

Jeck--Have a great trip! I sure hope you get to bring him home soon! You've been so so patient...I don't know how you do it! I have a feeling he will be joining you and DH very soon.

Colleen--It's nice that DH is giving you some nap time during the day. Good luck getting GAvin on a better sleep schedule! How are your other kids dealing with the new addition?

I'm still resting over here! DH has been finishing assembling the stroller, swing, and bouncy seats. Now, he just has to do some work on the nursery closet so we can get more use out of it. I'm reading/sleeping/watching movies. I still manage to get out of the house a little each day, for my own sanity's sake. I go for an U/S tomorrow and check up on Tuesday. I'm thinking I'll get my section date then. It's got to be soon, as my belly is getting HUGE!!!!!

cowgirl--still waiting to hear from you! I hope all's well, and I can't wait to hear an update!

How are the rest of you gals doing?

Happy Monday to you all.
I have just checked out our new arrivals on photobucket they are beautiful. You must both be so proud.
Jeck great to hear from you i hope you get to bring Jaden home soon. Have a great trip.
Cowgirl you are in my thoughts, waiting to hear your news.
Buckeyegal hope all is well with your scan today just think next time you see your baby you will be having a cuddle.
Casey with you on the breech thing. I think my whole pregnancy she has been lyin lengthways, i am hoping she has changed position but it doesn't feel like it, i think she enjoys being in a hammock!! I have a midwife appointment tomorrow and hopefully she can give me some advice, although i think it's anything between 32and 36 weeks when they become engaged..
I am doing well, time is going so fast and i still have so much to do. I seem to have energy in the morning but by the afternoon i don't have any. we put our pool up yesterday so i was hoping for chill out afternoon in there but it looks a bit cloudy today oh well.
Take care all, i will be checking in to see if we have any more arrivals.

Hey ladies, I am now able to post. I ended up having a C-section so it has been a bit difficult. Naomi Joy was born Friday June 1st at 2:04pm. I will post more of my birth story later. I have also been having a bit of a problem waiting for my milk to come in so BF has been taking its toll, but that seems to be working itself out now. :-)

Jeck I hope you get to bring your little boy home soon!!!!! You are going to be such an awesome Mommy to a very special little boy! Have a safe trip.

Tasha and Colleen it sounds like you guys are doing great. I will try to go look at the pictures and post one here in a bit.

Kim- it sounds likes you are doing great! The c-section wasn't too bad, just make sure you have help when you get home and a comfortable spot that sits up higher so its not so difficult to get in and out of. :-)

Well I will post more later. Just wanted to let you know what was going on. :-)

Take care,
Cowgirl

Hi Everyone!

Cowgirl - Congratulations!!!!!!! I am so excited for you. I hope that Naomi and you are doing well and that your troubles with BF will be soon behind you. How are you feeling? Are you sore at all from the C? I wish you and your family a lifetime of love with your angel.

Colleen & Tasha - How are you both doing? Gavin and Aubrey are adorable. I hope you are all well and loving every second you get with your babies.

Tasha - Is the BF going any better? Thank you for asking about me last day of work. It was good. Really busy but I was so excited that it is over. Now I am ready to start my new job as Mommy!

Kim - How are you feeling? How are those babies doing? How did your US go today? Good luck tomorrow at your appointment. Let us know how it goes.

Jeck - It is so nice to hear from you. I hope you have a great trip and I have been praying that you get to bring Jaden home ASAP.

Ellie - How are you doing? Good luck at your appointment tomorrow. Let us know how it goes. I hope your little one has turned for you. I know what you mean about being exhausted. I'm fine when I first wake up also but then by 1:00 I have to take a nap and by the end of the day my feet and legs are so sore that I have to keep them elevated.

Casey - How are you doing? Let us know how everything is going.

As for me I'm doing well. Lily's nursery furniture was delivered today so I started to decorate the room. I had a great time putting up the mobile and rocking in my chair. Everytime I look in the crib I start to think about how soon Lily will be here and I get so excited. I'm gonna try to take pictures and post them on Photobucket if I can figure out how. I have a Dr's appointment tomorrow with my 1st internal. Please say a prayer that everything is going well in there. I get so nervous before my appointments.

All my love and prayers are with you all.

Tasha- Big congratulations on the birth of Aubrey she is gorgeous. Hope your enjoying being a mummy.

Colleen- Gavin photos are so cute. Hoipe your still doing well. I'm amazed that you still find time to post. Take care

Cowgirl- So pleased to read your good news. Congratulations on bringing Noami into the world. Glad to hear your ok and hope you recover from the c-section soon.

Ellie and Kim- thanks for the advice on baby being breech. Will try a few of your ideas for sure.

Nance- Glad your finally on maternity leave. Make sure you rest well.

Jeck- Hope you enjoy seeing your little boy again and that you will soon have him home with you.

All is well with me. Baby moving loads which is reasuring. Been having the joys of potty training with DD! Hasn't been the most enjoyable experience as so restricted to where you go, but she is doing well and I'm glad to get it over with before new baby arrives. Will be good to only have 1 child in nappies, espcially as DH doesn't do nappies!!!! I know its terrible but he just can't do it, well dirty ones, which can be a real pain. As he says he did warn me before we got married, just never though he was serious!

Keep up the good work girls. Who's next in line?

Cowgirl--Congratulations! I'm glad Naomi made it safely into the world! I can't wait to hear details, but I know you're a bit busy right now....hope the BFing gets easier!

Nance--Welcome to the world of not working! Well, not in the traditional sense, right? I'm glad your nursery is coming along. Can't wait to see pics. Good luck at your appt. tomorrow. I'm sure all will be well!

CaseyP--glad that DD is getting potty trained before the baby comes! Very smart of you! DH doesn't do diapers????? Oh boy! He wouldn't survive very long in my house! ha ha! With twins, both of us will be on diaper duty. (Whether he likes it or not...)

I did have our US today, and all continues to look good! Baby A is measuring at 5 pounds, 9 oz., and baby B is measuring at 5 pounds, 10 oz......they're both right on track! Yeah! That makes me feel so good to know that they have good weights right now, just in case they'd make an early appearance. I'm curious to see when I'll get scheduled for the section. I should know tomorrow!

I'm hoping to make it through the week, since there's lots going on! My students' last day of school is Friday, and I'd like to go visit them once more before summer vacation. Also, my little sister graduates from Ohio State on Sunday. I was hoping to go to the ceremony, but I don't think that'll happen. I am hoping to join them afterwards though for a dinner celebration. We'll see how that goes....

I hope everyone else is doing well! Keep us posted! Racheal....you should be next my dear!

Cowgirlclass - I am thrilled to hear you angel arrived safely. I am sorry you had to have a C-Section. You did great though. Do not let it get you down. One piece of advice, rest! I know it is hard, but over doing it is the worst thing you can do. It will take time to heal all the way. I am excited about seeing your angel. Hope you and the family are happy and getting better aquainted. As for your milk, it will happen. Your body is recovering for a shock and thus needs a little extra time for everything.

Tasha & Colleen - i hope you are getting adjusted to motherhood (again for Colleen). This is the hardest part. You both have been very blessed.

Casy - I am glad you are well. I know what you mean about potty training. I was determined to have my oldest potty trained before the younger one arrived, but after a very bumpy road, I caved and gave up. Two weeks before my youngest arrived, my oldest started using the potty on his own. We were sooooooooooo happy. Good luck!

Nance - Try to get plenty of rest. Soon enough we will all be sleep deprived! Don't worry about the appointments. From here on out your little one has an excellent chance of a healthy life even if born early. We are all right on the border!

Jeck - I miss you so and pray hard for your little one to arrive home soon. It appears we are all going to be moms at the same time anyway! I hope your trip is filled with love and happiness. I look forward to seeing new pics of him. Stay safe!

Ellie - I hope your little one is in the right place. Makayla is, but the rest of her is leaning in a strange way. My OB told me she is fine as long as her head is down. Although, I will not be having a vaginal birth, it is a relief to know she is in the right position.

Kim - I hope th babes are well and your u/s went perfect. I know you must be getting excited. I think you are going to be next. I am so happy for you. You are doubly blessed!

As for us, we have been working really hard! We cut, packaged and delivered over 6,000 wood craft kits to day camp for about 1,000 kids to do. We all hurt everywhere. I also had my baby shower and we got a ton of stuff. I could not believe it. I am blessed to have such a wonderful group of friends. DH and the boys are getting really excited about the baby comping. Me, I have been have awful nightmares about the delivery. I had such a hard time last time that I am freaking out this time. I am going to be asking my OB on Friday if they will allow two people in the room because DH will likely leave as soon as the baby is gone and I really want someone there the whole time. I have an older girlfriend that is willing to be there for me. I am so nervous. I only have eleven days left and I am close to panic mode. I told my OB and she is trying to be supportive, but I guess I will just have to wait. She has made so many accomidations, I should be happy. She is going to let me hold Makayla right after she is born and even allow me to BF her if she wants. I have never held a child of mine that was less then an hour old. I always had to wait until I was out of recovery. Unfortunately, that is not what scares me. I worry about the surgery and the recovery afterward. I know Makayla will be fine, but I worry I will not be able to do all the things I need to do. Sorry for rattling. Love to all !

just a quick post to congrat cowgirl on the arival of naomi... waiting for the milk to come in seemed like a long wait.. hope that it's come in, and you are not too engorged

Rachael- i hope that you can get a little piece of mind... hope that your section will go well... we are wishing you the best!!!

casey- good luck with the potty thing... thank goodnes there will not be two in diapers.. sorry that DH doesn;t do diapers... my DH will do the diapers, but put up a fight, and gag the whole time... so he doesn't do that many..

nance- good to hear that work is done... you are not going back, right?? i think that was you... well, enjoy the last few weeks... and try not to worry about the internal... it's not to bad... just relax.. i think that is my motto.. relax.. it helps everything

kim- the babies weights sound great!!! and just think, they said that gavin would be 6lbs 10oz ... 2 days before he was born at 8lbs 2oz...

as for us.. we are doing ok... gavin is getting into some sort of pattern.. he was just eating and eating, then slept.. now he is eating every 2-2 1/2 hours.. my older DS is loving his new baby bro, and my 3YO DS is getting better at "being gentle" it's hard for a very energetic 3YO to be gentle... so he's trying...

Happy Tuesday Girls.... so today is my first day on my own w/ Aubrey. I cried a little this morning just because I didn't want DH to go to work... I miss having him home w/ me. However, I love spending quality time alone w/ Aubrey.

Jeck- I hope you have a wonderful trip and hopefully it will only be a short time before your little one will be coming home w/ you.

Colleen- I have tried the football hold, the laying down hold, etc... and nothing works so I'm still pumping and feeding Aubrey through a bottle then. However, I'm ok with this... she's still getting my breast milk and I can see exactly how much she is getting. Makes me feel better... It would be great if we could meet... maybe for a little shopping trip at Algonquin Commons - we'll try and plan something very soon. Glad to hear that Gavin is getting on some sort of a schedule...

Ellie- how did your midwife appointment go?

Cowgirl- congrats on Naomi Joy... can't wait to see pictures of her.

Nance- how did your doctor's appointment go?

Casy- good luck on potty training...

Kim- glad to hear your u/s went well yesterday... you've got 2 good size baby's in there. Also good luck at your appointment today... hopefully you'll get your c-section date.

Racheal- I'm glad your doing well.. also that's great that you got so many great things at your baby shower. However, sorry to hear your having nightmares about delivery... I'll say a special pray for you.

As for us we're doing well... Aubrey is still eating like a champ (3oz.) at every feeding, which is every 3 1/2 - 4 hours. She's also sleeping very well too... we put her down last night (actually early this morning @ 4:30am) and she didn't get up until 9:30am, which gave me time to eat breakfast, brush my teeth & pump... I can't complain.

If I've missed anyone I'm sorry... I hope your all doing well and taking care of your bellies & baby's!
