 Hi gang

6yrs - Your job sounds as fun as mine. I work in a residential unit, 11-16yrs old kids, removed from the homes, parents drug/alcohol dependent, kids have behavioural prolems etc and i get abuse most days too----i love it----yes i know, i'm sick. Its a great challenge though eh?

Rachel - So sorry your hols sound like they weren't much fun. Give dh a hug and chat with us, you will have a smile on that face before you know it

Aunty - As long as you have been saving pennies for ivf then you have been excused from Worst Cyber Sista Award  Anyway your little pictures cheer us up so we forgive you

Geckogirl - Good luck for Tuesday. The success rate for donor eggs is much higher than using your own, depending on your age. How old are you? Basically using my own eggs would have given me a 26% chance of bfp but donor gives me 60%. Yes there is still a chance it wont work and its very ££££ but it has to be tried while we are young enough, right :?:

Hi to everyone as always

Well only 1 day to go. Dont know how i feel, just looking forward to the holiday. I suppose i see this as another chance-----our last chance. I am only concerned about being able to book flights and the hotel within a couple of days at ET time as they only give about 2-3 days notice.
Anyway the only thing to worry about at the moment is if my flip flops coordinate with my new skirt  us females have a hard life eh

Will catch up with you all tomorrow

Love Jen x

Good Evening Ladies :D

How are u all? All good and well i hope. Well i did my 'race for life run'. I woke up this morning and it was lashing down with rain, i ended up looking like a drowned rat - i run it in 45 mins and 29 seconds :D which i felt was pretty good considering
1: my age (lol)
2: My weight
3: Im the most unhealthiest person i know lol.
If anyone wants to see pics of me looking like a drowned rat - they are on myspace http://www.myspace.com/welshgirl38
and also on my webpage for cancer research:
http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/Welshgirl38
Brian was there supporting me and cheering me on as i left and as i crossed he was there with a great big bear hug :D so far i have raised £555 for cancer research :D

<Becky stands up and takes a bow lol>

And now im knackered LOL, so a quick few personals from me:

Aunty: Lovely to read you as always :) No way are u the worst cyber sister wotsoever!!! Ur the best lol - sure we all have busy days/weeks and we understand hun - moving is one of the most stressful times in ones life (so they say) personally i love it - i love unpacking and putting everything as i like it - home sweet home - :D Im glad to hear u have my room nearly ready  If i do pluck up the courage to get on that plane, ur my first stop i promise :D It might take a wee bit longer by boat hahaha - would have to take 6mths holiday off work lol.

Jen: Ooooo not long to go now hun - i cant beleive its come around so quickly (must seem like an age to u i know) I hope ur cold has shifted - what time is ur flight? An Brian is watching BB as we speak hehe, i knew he'd come round to my way of thinking (not that he had much choice lol) I hope u found some nice matching flip flops for ur skirt  the way the rain is going here, i will be needing wellies lol.

Carolyn: I know u must be away by now - hopefully u can get on ur lap top and keep ur wee eye on us :D Hope all is well there so far, thinking of u xx

Geckogirl Your comming to Ireland then eh? What a great place for a holiday :D Whereabouts are going? Maybe it might be close by and we could say 'hello' would be great to go for a wee rant lol.

Rachel: Hello again hun, the rain finally came to Wales eh? Not to worry about that hun, its still nice to get away and have a break from work. I do hope you and DH have made up - im usually the same hen AF is due - no wonder some men always say 'oh time of the month eh' cos to be honest, i blame all my moods on it hahaha! If im craving for chocolate - im due on, if im in the fridge binging - im due on, if im miserable and moody - im due on - if i cant sleep - im due on lol - oh to be a man for a month - heaven lol xx

Mom20: Glad to hear ur new job is going well - keep it up :) Not sure if i would be able to handle young boys of that age and temprement - u and Jen have a lot of patience, i take my hat off to you both :)

Well with my appointment just around the corner, ive had some news that im not too pleased about. I dont know if u remember me telling u of a few smears that i have had come back abnormal so i had to go for a colopisy thingie (laser) and then i was to be seen for another smear 6mths later. I got a letter saying that it was anazlized and was abnormal again, so i would be seen in 3 mths instead! I went back in March for a smear, and i received a letter on Saturday saying that that too was inflamed and abnormal  and i will need to be seen in another 3 mths. Im really concerned and i dont want to wait another 3mths, i want to get this sorted before i go for another round of IVF. Im going to ring them tomorrow and explain that im starting ivf in July so i need more laser, or wotever they need to do before i can go ahead. Everytime i think about tis i get concerned, my mum passed away when she was 42 with cancer and im now afraid for myself! I dont want to sound like im keeping on, but i really am concerned - i dont know what symptoms to look out for, but i know that bleeding in between AF's can be a symptom - which mth before last i was bleeding in between my period. I hope im just being paranoid about this and that its all in my head - i dont know what to think .....

Sorry ladies, i just had to rant about that, Brian understands but i dont want to alarm him either, and he is too afraid to ask questions as i told him i didnt want to talk about it as i was so hyped up about it. Im sure it must be on his mind too ..... Would anyone else ring and ask to be seen earlier? I dont want to put back my IVF either - but i think this needs to be sorted first doesnt it??

Becky Xxx

Hey Becky.... yeah your right, i know it will take you a while to pluck up courage to come over it's an 8 hour flight well was from Brummie land i know Ireland is closer as i passed over it many times on my way back..do you like Halloween? if your not a scaredy cat you will have to come for that they do it big style here.
I was dogged by same thing as you for years i had the loop done three times and still kept getting abnormal after that.
My mom also had cancer at the age of 33 had to have a hysterectomy, so i was worried i would go the same way, then all of a sudden it came back normal just like that, been clear now for 9 years, so fingers crossed that will happen to you, your right to get it sorted the extra hormones from your baby belly will not be good for your cervix, it could also be your hormones you know that can give you a bad pap have them check that. Big well done on the running *stands and claps* way to go.

Awww Jen thank youImage(special for you), i knew you'd all forgive me. Oh man i can imagine how your feeling....ooo im excited for you sooo excited prayers for a safe trip and loads of great news when you get back...can you hold some seats and hotel?....sometimes they will let you hold them unless they fill up? just an idea doesn't hurt to ask, don't your clinic help with all that? they should, can you tell them Aunty said they should help please...LOL thinking of you...*hugs*

loads of love to all Aunty

Hi Ladies, sorry i've been MIA after asking if i can join you all.

Mom20 hi again, so sorry your clinic have screwed up again, where are in the Uk, I am in north yorkshire and they have halted all treatment until at least next financial year, or you hit 39. So for me its next April whatever as i will be 39 then. I am at the top of the list and have waited patiently for my turn for 2 years to be told no go as have no money. I hope you get a better result from your authority.

Geckogirl, good luck on Tuesday, i hope all goes well for you. My DH will not consider anything but our own, so if our test results come back with a problem then its the end of the road for us (treatment wise). However i think i will handle that better than him.

Jen, have a safe trip, and good luck hope all goes well for you.

Carolyn, have a good trip, i know i've missed you but i hope you get some fun time as well as work.

Aunty, how's it going? are you all packed and rareing to go, DH and myself in 20 years together have moved about 13 times, mostly because of work. Since settling back to our home town, 5 years we have moved 3 times. I am finally very happy with my house, and will not move for many years (ha ha).

Sorry to everyone else i've missed but got to go do some more work, have staff on holiday and i am away next week as DH is 40 next Tuesday.
be in touch again soon, Take care all.

Hi girls

Well here we go, finally. We are all packed and everything is in order.

We have been feeling fine and looking forward to a nice rest then BANG----one of my London friends tried to call a couple of days ago but i was in work, she said she had news and would call back another day. I texted her today and guessed she was either getting married or pregnant. Yep, you guessed right----pregnant. She offered to call tonight but i asked her not to and told her it is to difficult for us to deal with news like this just now, then i spent the next hour blubbering about how unfair this world is and 'why me'----then i felt a selfish cow. Told her i am happy for her but tearful for me and dh. Will have to find the strength to call her next week.
She is nearly 39yrs and only been with her partner for a short time. They were due to get married first but she got pregnant quite quickly so have posponed it------------

I feel a bit down today now and just want us to have a baby so i can stop feeling like this all my life

Oh well as Rhett said---tomorrow is another day.

Thanks for your good wishes, will be back on the 8th at about 6pm and will update you as soon as possible.

Love to you all

Hey ladies, may I join your thread? I was on a few of those past threads as well. BFN in Sept. and another in March. We are now waiting on a donor we have chosen. She is currently cycling and we have to wait until end of June to see if Dr. will approve her for a shared cycle and if other couple is interested. If other couple will not share cycle or Dr. doesn't approve, then it will be Nov. before we can try. This is going to be one of the longest summer months I have endured in years. Welshgirl, I remember you from the last thread and Aunty, so good to see you here. Many of the names seem familiar.
