Just thought that I'd stop by before I go to bed and wake up and start try number 4 tomorrow at 7am. Can't believe that it is now here. ARRGGGHHHH

Jen1d - I am sorry that you have been having a rough time. May be after the 'high' of the trip, it is now back to 'normal' life. Mentioning the tmt can be a bit of a show stopper. I just think that most people have no clue what to say. Way outside of the world that they know - that is why we are here for each other. You know where I am if I can help at all. Hope that you hear very soon about the donor as sure that you feel a heck of a lot better when you know that

Gill - I know that all the tests are frustrating but sure that they will help when you start. Hang in there hun

JB - have a very happy birthday. Hope that you have had plenty of bubbles

Hugs to everyone else.

So saw all the family. Ate way too much - we pretty much ate all day long. They all seemed to have a good time. Ticked all the boxes - the focus now is me and tmt.

Off to bed now.
Love to you all.

OMG. Just thought that I should come and post. I am no longer awaiting treatment. I am actually doing treatment. First sniff at 7am. Complete panic as felt nothing at all. Now waiting for my mobile to call me at 3pm so I can go to the loos at my client and sniff again. Cannot believe that I am actually doing this all over again.

So hope that it will be 4th time lucky for me & dh. I know that we all go through so very much but feel that dh and I have been through enough and surely now this could be our chance.

Speak later.

Hey all,

I've been quiet cause like Jen, I've been feeling down and didn't want to dampen everyone else's moods. Thats and the fact that I'm working at a client's so can't really use the internet much, which feels bloody paralyzing!!!!!!

Its been good catching up on whats been happening. From the sounds of things, we shall soon be hearing about so many BFPs. Yay!!!! Lots of hugs and wishes for all of you.

I was gutted that Cristina did not win. But then again I think Sir Alan was looking for someone he could mould. Simon reminded me of a puppy, adorable and eager to please. But not necessarily Apprentice material.

Sorry no time for personals, but will be back soon.

PS. finally got our report from the GP which is now in the post to Hammersmith.

Hi gang

Am feeling better today especially as i've finished work until the 26th.

Got an email from IM today, i have to start on next af with the -------CONTRACEPTIVE PILL???? thought i was trying to get pregnant, seems strange to us
Anyway we start in July then the clinic look for a donor. This seems strange to me as it seems they are doing things back to front. They must have a good supply and as the whole cycle takes 6-8 weeks so they must have a donor in mind. Will just have to do what they say. They sent me a medcation plan for the whole cycle, seems fairly straight forward.

Carolyn - So glad your doing well. Think we should maybe send you off our thread now your doing treatment---------------nahhhh we would miss you to much

JenB - Hope you had a fab birthday and are not to depressed about the Big 40???

Angie - Know how you feel mate but at least we have each other to chat to, it helps so much. Good news about your report, what will happen next?

Shaz - Welcome to the thread. Sorry to hear about your bfn, its tough eh but we all have to be strong and keep trying, you will get there

Gill - Great news about your tests being done at St James', think it would have cost a small fortune to get everything done at IM. How you feeling about things now? Hope your not to disappointed about starting later than expected, it will be here before you know it

Ok, off to get some tea for dh. We are off to see his dad tomorrow until Friday then to Liverpool until Monday for our Godsons first communion. Will try and get to a phone to catch up.

Love to you all

Jen1d - Fantastic that you heard from Big B. I have heard other ladies on bcp before. As far as I understand it is so that they can control your cycle and get you in perfect synch. Fab that you now have a tmt plan. Do you have any idea when ET will be. So pleased for you hun. I'm off the thread then????? Cheeky chapess trying to get rid of me like that

Shaz - welcome to the thread. You have come to the right place. We are all at different stages of the wait. So sorry to read about your 2nd BFN. It does get a little easier as time passes - honest. But it is a complete and utter bummer. We'll keep you company while you wait

Angie - great to hear from you. I am still gutted about The Apprentice too. She certainly should have won. Hope that you hear from Hammersmith soon - what will the next step be?

JB - Hope that you had a great birthday. You cannot complain about being 4-0 as I am 4-1 already - will make me feel really really old

Look forward to hearing from the rest of you soon. Hope that you are doing ok.

Off to Royal Ascot tomorrow. My last social engagement for at least a month. Going with friends. We look to go each year. Got a shocking pink dress plus a large hat. Very excited. I will be doing the 3pm sniff in the loos. HA HA Again trying not to lose the tmt fund !!!!

Lots of Love

Hi Girls :D

Carolyn- Glad the sniffing is going well :D , sounds like you have got the hang of it. You said the other day that you were having a hysterscopy too, does that mean that this first lot of meds you are taking is getting you ready for that?and then after the hysterscopy you will start the meds again ready for the real thing? That's what I am having to do on my next af which is due around the 10th July, so I will be starting my meds then!! Hope you have a great time at ascot and win lots of ££££'s. 8)

Shaz b- Hi, Sorry to hear about your bfn :( , but glad you are thinking of your next go. Its good to have a break to get your head together.

Angel- Good to hear from you, sorry you have been feeling down :( .

Jen b- Happy 40th Birthday!! Hope you have had a lovely day.

Jen- Glad you are feeling a bit better. We will be starting treatment in July my af is due around the 10th and I will be starting meds then. I will start to take meds on day 1 of af and on day 17-21 we will need to be back in Barcelona for the doppler test and hysterscopy :? . I then stop the meds and after 2-4 days I will get af again, and all being well I will start the meds again for real this time, so as you see it wont hold things up for long maybe we will be a month later with et but thats nothing if it means we get a bfp out of it! :D. Its our GP who is doing the blood tests for us not st james, I hope I never have to go back to st james  . My GP has been fantastic! :D

Well, I had email from Barcelona today letting me know about dh sample and a few other things all good :D. As soon as I came home I started thinking of a million and one things I wanted to ask, I must say they are very good in putting up with me and I am sure I will have had my moneys worth in the end!

Hope everybody else is ok where are you??
Take care
Lots of love

Hey Ladies

A big Welcome to Shaz :D You have come to the right place Shaz, the ladies here are lovely and will support u thru out ur tmt and beyond. So sorry to hear about ur recent attempts :( Its hard to get over, but it will get better - especially with the support u have now found here. Anytime u want to rant, rave, vent, laff or cry - this is the place to do it :D

Carolyn: Hey hunnie :D Congratulations on ur first day of sniffing :) I hope that cos ur 'doing treatment' now ur not gonna bugger off and leave us lol. So how does it feel - can u get it up ok (hahaha - the sniffing i mean lol) have u remembered to take them all, do u set ur alarm on ur mobile - oooo i have a memory like a sieve see, thats why i inject, all over and done with in one sweet swoop lol. Glad ur visitors enjoyed party etc, and glad that u have everything over and done with and u can now consentrate on getting ur well deserved BFP :D PMA all the way honey, i wanna see ur name in lights up the top of our list :D Good luck hun, im rooting for you :D Have fun at the Royal Ascot :D xxx

Rachel: Are u still with out internet there??? Oh nooooooo mun! Theres nothing worse is ther, i would feel like my right arm had been cut off if i couldnt get on line! I hope u get it fixed soon , ur missed here xxx

Gill: Glad to hear the clinic are doing all the tests possible for u, it sounds to me like they know what they are doing, and its best to get everything sorted, they are giving u the best chance possible which is great :D

Beachbaby/Jayne I need to loose about 2 stone too, hows about we encourage each other on? Rachel has done fantasticaly, we could get some tips off her - i'd love to be able to drop a dress size, would give anything to drop 2 lol.

Jen: So sorry u have been feeling down hun, everyone gets like that and ur entitled to feel like that, u can come here to rent and vent as much as u want to hun, thats what we are here for -dont feel u have to stay away when things get tough, we are here for u ok :D

JenB: Its ur 40th today !!!!! Woooo Hoooooo - u kept that quiet hun - HAPPY BIRTHDAY - i hope u were spoilt and had a great day/night  Life begins from now on - the only way is up girl  xxx

Angel: The same goes for u too - dont feel u have to keep away because ur down, we do understand and we want to help in any way we can. Im glad ur feeling better now, anytime tho u want to vent, we are here ok :D xx

Aunty: I take it u've had the key to ur new home and are busy lizzy painting and sorting everrything out - oh how exciting, i love doing things like that :D I'd give u a hand if i could lol. Let us know how its going :D xx

Shantala: Hey hun, when do u start the sniffing, have u had ur plan yet? Wont be long now, woooo hoooo :D Hope u are well hun and that they are not keeping u too busy at work  xx

Hello to everyone else i have missed, there are so many now i cant keep up - which reminds me, i must update the list .....

Well ladies we had our appt today at the clinic and it went great :D We start tmt 21 days after my next AF - which is due on July 1st - 4th - I will start the same as last time and inject superfact for 3 weeks, then onto Gonal F (instead of menopur) The nurse told me that i will have a 'pen' for the Gonal F - i never used one of those before - anyone have any advise? Last time i had 4 vials to mix, but this time she said that the 'pen' is a lot easier. I hope it has the same effect as the Menopur, i need all the follies and the eggs i can get  The funny thing is, it was at the end of July i started tmt the last time - i just hope and pray that this time we get the result we want :D

Anyway ....

We can stick to the same plan as we had planned with the 'other' clinic, so our holiday in Sept, our break in Wales, the hen party, the wedding, and annivesary will still co-inside, with this tmt :D Im so chuffed that nothing has changed and we are back on track :D :D All that worry for nothing eh ladies? LOL

Remember the smear results i told u about too - well the DR told me that they arnet abnormal, but just showing poly summit or other as my AF was due the day i went to have it done :x So im to go back for another one 2 weeks aftr my next AF - fingers crossed that one will be ok :D

Right, thats me done for the evening - Gemma needs lifting from work (Mum's taxi) i better not leave her waiting too long  will catch u later ladies ...

Love to u all as always,

Becky Xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi everyone,

thanks for your welcome its come at just the right time , i have found out this morning that St Marys are not willing to let us have 3rd cycle. i have made appointment to discuss this and also have letter from PCT saying that we are entitled to 3. 1st cycle was cancelled due to no follies but was not classed as a go at time but they are saying that they are counting it :? now i am really mad and upset. :(

i am sure if we have to go private we will find the money from somewhere

 Hi girls

Thanks for putting up with my vent and being there for me, your brilliant.
Feeling better and more positive, boy does this rollercoaster stress you out eh

Carolyn - Hows the sniffing going, hope my instructions helped a bit?
You will be having a fab day at Ascot as i write. Know your a posh chick with that Blackberry etc, will look out for you on the tv, in the royal box lol

Shaz - That seems a bit unfair to me counting your 1st cycle when you had no follies----doesnt this government get it????we should get ivf FREE even Sir Robert Winston was on the tv saying that the other day
In Dundee we also get 3 free cycles but you have to wait 2 years for the 1st one then 2 years in between each  This is useless as most of us girls are older and dont have the time to wait. I have only had 1 free cycle and had to pay for the rest, its disgusting. Get your butt to that meeting and give them a Bollocking----at least you will feel better, good luck

Becky - Your af is due around the same time as mine so we will maybe be cycling together although the treatment is completely different.
Yep i have used Gonal F on the first 3 cycles with the pen then had to mix 4 vial with Menopur on the 4th cycle. Believe me the pen is a doddle. All you do is when you first open it you attach the needle, prime the pen by letting out a small bit of liquid so its ready to use then turn it to the amount of medi you are on, put on a new needle then inject, its so simple. The needle is tiny and they give you plenty of extra ones incase of mistakes. My friends thought it was so funny and would continually tx me when it was time for the injections to say "time for your little prick now, your use to that with dh" poor boy had to put up with all the jokes
Good luck with your smear, sure you will be fine.

Gill - You are starting sooner than i thought, that brilliant. Dont worry about the little delay, at least you will get a couple more days sun in Big B 8) . The clinic are so good at staing in touch eh, they have impressed me and i feel so comfortable with them, hope this continues. At first i was sending them massive of emails with so many questions but they dont seem to mind. In fact at our app the Doc encouraged us to email about anything, no matter how small.

We are about to leave for Middlesborough in a couple of hours so will catch up when i can.

Love to you all

Hi Ladies,

Shaz welcome to the group, i am sorry your pct are messing you up, unfortunately i know how you feel. When i first went on the list we were allowed 2 cycles, then our health trust merged and they knocked it down to 1, they have now suspended all tr4eatment unless you are approaching 40. I am currently waiting to hear how my appeal goes, btw i was at the top of the list and would be getting treatment now had they not suspended it, done my 2 year wait.

Caroloy, how's the sniffing going?, hope your winning lots of funding at the races, have a good one. Glad everything went to plan and you can concentrate on you and DH, i hope he's looking after you!!

Becky, Just getting my head around to the idea, i'm pretty good once i get focussed, also joining back at the gym, try to sort myself out ready for the next go, DH has put a few pounds on too and he's a great motivator, not today though as hes just had a tooth out, privately as we cannot get an NHS dentist either, why do i pay national insurance, i get screwed over on everything.

Jenb, hope you had a good weekend and not feeling too upset at the big 40.

Jen, hope the trip away cheers you up a little.

Gill, I have a friend who went to Jimmy's and loved them there, They are connected to LGI also, I have found most staff lovely, although they did forget to make my last appointment, I have just had the chromosone tests done, through LGI, but i have to wait 10 weeks for the resluts!!, i asked if i could do them at the GP's to speed up the process, but was told no, then to find out when i got there i could have done. They only do the tests if you have had 2 miscarraiges/ Bio-chemical pregnancies, seems stupid but i think its as we get the tests done for free. I think they should be given to couples who are classed as unexplained, as there is obviously a reason and the chances are these tests will find a reason. anyway better stop ranting.

Aunty, hope the move went well and your getting sorted, keep the pma, you'll get there in the end.

Sorry to anyone i've missed but got to get back to work. Take care

Hi all

Thanks for all the lovely Birthday wishes...I wasn't bothered about turning the big 40 corner so don't worry Caroline i don't think 40 ( OR 41 for that matter) is old. I do worry about the winkles but i feel good inside and thats what matters. We were due to drive down to friends and family (200miles away) for a weekend blitz, but DH had PLANNED A SURPRISE! My sister arrived on my door step on friday afternoon she had taken time off work and driven up to see me. I thought that was it, and i planned to take her and explore our new town..BUTt NO the door bell kept ringing all friday night and saturday, with friends and family arriving. Mst people had booked B&B's but still had our 3 bed house packed out. On Saturday we ended up with a BBQ and night out at the Casino. The game was to only spend 10pounds. We all tried to make our 10 pounds last as long as we could. I was the only one who won any money and I won 180quid :D  Was dead chuffed by this and still am!!!! It was a late night and busy breakfast making Sunday. Can definatly see me doing B&B in the future after this LOL. Every1 left on Sunday night, so we were in bed by 10pm! Yesteday ( mon) i went out with local friends for lunch ( bubbily galore) and again out with DH at night for slap up meal and more Bubbily. Have still got 3 bottles of Bolli left ,I got as presents! I felt so lucky and loved by everyone. It was a real special celebration. Thnks to you all for your wishes x x

Jen- anna was on BC pills during her cyccles at Big b. So i presume it just works better than patches. Hope you get donor confirmation soon. but i feel like you said they must have someone in mind as they have no waitinf list. x x

Becky- You will as everyone else haas said find the gonal pens sooooooooo much easier than Menopur. Hope and pray your get that BFP on your lucky 4th cyle  Do you think the smear showed a pollop?? if so it's usually easy to remove. Good luk with that in 2wks time. Glad everything is planned and sorted and your time line is back on schedule

Carolyn- congrats on your tmt start...how was ascot? x x

Shaz welcome ...sorry to hear about your negative. Your right to take time out for you to chill until next cycle in sept. Did you have any frosties or will you be doing a fresh next time. x x

Gill good news about all tests coming back A okay!!!

Hi to Lara, Aunty shantala Angel jayne and anyone else i have missed...Sorry i don't have time for presonals for everyone. but seendning you all loving hugs

Love
