Hi ladies still no internet for me we have a connedtion date its the 29 th of this month oh such a long time with out you hope i can cope but can always come up and use little sis computer .I do check on you everyday with dh phone but cant reply

Becky glad the appt went well and fab news you get to start soon the pen is so much easier than the menopur its a doddle oh have you sorted your smears out ladie you better get to it now your starting in a couple of weeeks

Carolyn whoooooooo on getting started how is the sniffering going hope itrs doing the trick and hope you had a day at ascot and won loads of money for the ivf fund .

Jenb happy birthday hope you had a fab weekend and didnt drink to much .

Aunty glad you got your keys and are now doing the decorating hope its all going well .

Becky- Fantastic news about your appointment . The injections you will be using sound a bit like the pens that my dh uses with his diabeties, if they are they are very easy to use.Its great that you will still be able to do all the things that you had planned to do over the next few months and great news that your smear was ok.

Shaz b- It is not fair that anybody has to pay for IVF treatment We have had to pay for all our treatments, our local health board didnt fund ivf when we had our treatments and when they decided to give one free go on the nhs we didnt qualify as we had already had 3 attempts!!I was well pi**ed off I can tell you!

Jen- Hope you have a great time in Middlesborough.

Aunty- Sounds like you are working hard on the house,Try not to work too hard though! Cant wait to see some pics.

Jayne- St james were ok when we were having tmt there,but its just little things like forgetting to phone back when you leave a message , not doing tests that other clinics seem to think are important and they were going to charge us £1000 to do a couple of scans and a bit of paperwork to help us with our tmt in Barcelona (which we are having done for free from our local hospital now)and as we live so far away from st james hospital we cant just pop there to get the information we have to keep phoning and they keep forgeting to phone us back, you can see why I am not so happy with them now.

Jen B- Glad you had a lovely birthday , sounds like you realy had a great time with your family and friends. Well done on winning £180!!! you can spend it on your visit to Barcelona .

Rachel- Sorry you still have no internet , modern tecnology! its a pain in the arse when it all goes wrong.

Carolyn- How did ascot go? did you win lots of ££££'s? Hope you managed to sniff in all the excitement.

Barcelona emailed me back again with more info, they say if everything is ok with the tests we will probably be having our et end of august so I am well happy . I will need you all to start jigging for me in 3 weeks so that my af comes on time and doesnt hold things up.

hello ladies

i thought i should tell you guys something about my experience this cycle....well....it started pretty well..with lupron, follistim and repronex, however by day 9 my doctor started decreasign the dose due to fear of OHSS.on day 9 my E@ wa 1900,,, whih rose to 3000on daay 10...the doc stopped the stim hoping it'll become stable...but instead it fell to 2400....now he called me coz acc to him it was a 20% drop...and he wanted to cancel the cycle coz the eggs wont be of good quality...however we still chose to go ahead with the retrieval...they retreived 16...and now we''ll know tomorrow if any or some of them fertilize or not...i m sad...but not so much ...as now i know my ovaries rn't so leaded as once believed.....don't know what tomorrow will bring for me..

Rachel hope the internet freee nightmare is soon at an end for you only another 9 days to go poor you having to go to your sisters every day to log on. re you still burning off all these calories? x x It looks like you have the same with posts as me. don't know why they keep coming up 2 or 3 times the same message

Gill sounds like big b is looking after you well. We are still awaiting an answer from last thursdays e-mail, so i re- emailed them yesterday Hope to get some quieries answered soon.

Aunty- so slad you have moved in without a hitch. sounds like you are being so productive preping for decorating already Look after yourself though moving is stressfull time and you are so busy x x

Shaz- I was lucky to have 3 tmt on the NHS. My 1st 1 was cancelled due to no follies from stimming. Wasn't counted as we didin't get to HCG. were told it only caounts if we get that injection. The 2nd & 3rd were short cycles, stimming 14 days to get enough follies for EC so i was lucky they gave me another couple of shots. I think it aldo depends on funding, and how much budget they have. I was at Glasgow Royal. WE are now going for DE at IM barcelona... hope you can get that 3rd cycle you were promised x x

am feeling shattered after such a busy weekend ( or maybe because i am now fabulous and 40 lol) so having lazy day off today basically to catch up on usual house washing shopping stuff. Also am off on travels this weekend, meeting parents, then off to Glasgow for visiting friends from Dubui. So away friday night and not back home until next thursday. will miss you guys but hope to catch you on my return.

hi there ladies a quick update from me was at the hospital this morning for my review app good and bad news.
firsty i asked about our empies as they are not of good quality but i always get on average 10 eggs and she said that they initially fertilise perfect then they are not sure what goes wrong but last cycle both empies were d3t and 4 cell each her words were that some times eggs and sperm dont get on and there isn't anything they can do about it
good news is i have still to get my free go thought it was going to be jan 08 af but its going to be sep af this year so start as soon as i get back from being on holiday this is going to be our last try and if this one doesn't work then we are going onto adoption

Shaz: Sorry to hear about ur clinic - im sure thats wrong, they cant class the cancelled cycle as 1 tmt - u need to find out about that and take it further, i hope u get it sorted soon and are back on track for ur Sept cycle as planned

JenB: Hiya hun, i thought it only apt to let u know that this isnt my 4th cycle, it will be my 2nd - i dont think for one min i would be as strong as to go thru 4 cycles - it nearly killed me after the first, i was so upset and hurt (as we all are i know) the thought of having to go thru that again is not on the agenda - cos this time its BFP's and PMA all the way I feel a lot more encouraged this time around - we are fertalizing all our eggs to give ourselves a much better chance (rather than just 2 eggs last go) Aunty, i know u will be pleased about that too - im so excited

JS: Wow - 16 eggs - thats fantastic hun, please let us know how many embies u have tomorrow - im glad u proved the DR wrong by going ahead with retrevial - lets hope and pray that they are now doing their thing with ur DH's taddies remember - let us know Good Luck hun Xxx

yes...thats true welsch girl....i 'm glad i followed my gut feeling....but still there's way to go an d i don't know when to transfer my clinic is gonna call me and let me know about it...they said it depends on thieir growth...can you explain the 3day vs 5 day transfer and which one's you think is better...i'm praying so much for a BFP

JS - That is great numbers - 9 embies for you. Decision on D2, D3 or D5 depends on several things. The number of embies that you have. Does your clinic have the culture medium to go onto D5? If there are clear 'front runners' then they might go back sooner. Crossing my fingers for you hun. You are in a great position

Shaz - like Welshie says I would complain. They should not count a caneclled cycle. I'd scream and shout until they allow you another go. Just kick up a real stink

Jen1d - hope that you and dh are having a nice time away together with your families. Has to beat going to work. You'll be on your way before you know it

Welshie - Pleased that you are fertilising all your eggs to give yourself the very best chance. I know that this was a very hard decision for you hun. So hope that this will be your time. Cannot believe that you did not spot me in and amongst the horses. We had a great day - so took my mind off everything. Make sure that you get the smear done even if you push back by a couple of weeks. I know how easy it can be to push things back and then a few weeks go by and it gets overlooked. Pens are so easy as others have said - way easier than mixing the stuff up. You just dial it up and off you go. Love the pens

Karia - I am sorry to read about your eggs. Delighted that they will give you another go. I am sure that it seems ages away now but it will be here before you know about it

Rachel - so hope that you can get the internet sorted soon. I would have thrown my pc out the window by now. Any more weight loss this week hun?

Gill - no for me the hysteroscopy will be mid cycle. After I have done down regging and then will start stimmies the evening of the hysteroscopy if it goes ok. Sounds a little bit differento your cycle. At least that means they are personalising for us. So glad that you can get started sooner than you thought. I will jig for you & me both. Managed to sniff at 3pm. Just nipped to the loo, sniffed and then back out for the 3.05pm race

JB - hope that you get an answer from Big B soon. Glad that you had a wonderful birthday and are not feeling too bad about your age!!!! Sounds terrific and great that you won all that money. Have a wonderful time with your friends over the 'extended'.

I had a really great day at Ascot before I withdraw from social engagements. It so took my mind off everything. Backed a winner in the 1st race and then a winner in the last race at 12/1. Came home well over £100 up. Was thrilled.

Back to work today. Yawn. Yawn. Feel a little tired and headachy but nothing too bad as yet. Looking forward to the weekend and just chilling out for sure.

Please jig for me. AF should be here on Monday but may well be late due to drugs. I then get to call the clinic and can book scan and hysteroscopy.
