Hey Ladies!!!

I am so in love with all of your babies!!!! So cute, I could just eat them up!! Thanks so much for sharing their pictures!!!

I got back from our wonderful visit trip last Sunday!!! Oh girls he is just too cute!!! I have some videos posted on my photobucket you can login as jeckslife and use the guest pass of jaden2cute!!!

He has 1 little tooth and another one right beside it started popping thru while we were there!!! He loves patty cake and he loves to take his little hand and make noised with his lips!!! Toward the end of the week he was giving us kisses and hugs with out us asking for them!!!

We had a wonderful birthday party with a pinata of course!!! Fun was had by all!!! While we were in Guatemala we actually experienced an earthquake!!!! That was a neat experience (especially since it was a mild one)!!!

We are in the final phase of the process and we could get a call next week or it could be next month... Just no way of knowing :(

Since we were not there on his actual b-day June 20 we called him and sang happy birthday to him and he just squealed in the phone!!! Warmed the heart!!

We picked up his crib and dresser/changer yesterday and we are going to get that all set up this weekend. I also almost have his play area done in the living room. I have a little round table and stools along with a bookshelve that has baskets on it for his toys. I still need to get a bookshelf so that I can put photos and some of our things up high and put more of his stuff on the bottom selves! I am also looking for a magnetic dry erase board to hang on one wall for him!!! Spoiled already!! LOL!!

Anyway this week I have been dealing with something weird going on with me. I think I might have picked up something while on our trip. I have been achy, stiff in my neck and then it spread to my wrists and then to my ankles. Then yesterday I woke up with my hands, wrists and feet/ankles severly swollen. I went to my doctor and they did bloodwork and it will be back on Monday. While I was there we had to have my wedding band cut off my finger... Michael said he will get me a new one! LOL!!! I so hope it is something that can be taken care of and it is not serious!!!

My hands are starting to hurt again!! I just wanted you all to know I still check on you and the babies are beautiful and I can't wait for you all to have your beautiful bundles of joy in your arms!!!!

Lots of love and prayers!!!!

Jeck--I'm glad you had such a nice visit to see Jaden! He is too cute! I bet he will be here before you know it. Good luck making the final arrangements. He is a very lucky boy to have you for a mommy.

I hope everyone else is well! the twins are sleeping right now, so I have a little time to catch up on e-mail and thank you notes. Things are starting to get into a groove here. Bfing is going MUCH better...although sometimes Ellie would prefer her bottled supplement to the breast. I've got to keep an eye on that girl...she's picky already! 8) We're now getting settled into the 3 hour feeding schedule. I just hope they both pack on more weight before our next doc appt. on Thursday.

Have a good weekend gals!

Hi Guys

Apologies for the desertion, I have spent the last fortnight in hospital as Roman nearly came due to a suspected appendix issue, which thank god was mis-diagnosed (although it was only sorted as I was in my gown ready for theatre and being shipped into London 60 miles away! to get a place for Roman in a Special Care unit as min was full, I even had the ruddy steroid injections to mature his lungs! it was very close!) and turns out to be adhesions from all my gynae ops they are wrapped round my bowel and stuck round the ovary so am under strict obs and have been allowed home until tomorrow for day release which is good but I have to go back in to hospital tomorrow until whenever Roman makes an appearance, they will induce me at 37 weeks at the earliest but my IVF consultant wants me to go to 38 wks if my body will allow it, so much for a naturl birth, I can hardly walk and cry each day with the ripping sensations! but hey he will be worth it! BP is way too high and I got an infection....

I will read up when I get 5 minutes, I pray you are all doing well and and I cant wait to see those babies!

Take care thinking of each and every one of you .....

Introducing Lily

Post by Nance »

Hi All,

Sorry I have been out of touch but Lily was born on June 19th at 12:41 am. Weighing in at 6lbs 10onz and 21 inches long. She is perfectly wonderful. I got stuck in the hospital an extra day to do a UTI and fever but got home last night around 11:30. This is the first chance I have had to check in with you. I hope everyone and their babies (bellies) are doing well and I will log back in tomorrow to fill you in on the birth/delivery etc and post some pictures.

All my best,
Nance

Nance--CONGRATULATIONSSSSS!!!! Yeah! I was wondering if you had delivered. I'm glad Lilly is doing well. She's a great size! so sorry to hear about the UTI. I actually got one too and am on antibiotics as we speak. Take care of yourself and try to sleep when you can! I can't wait to see photos.

Angelica--You poor thing. I hope you can make it to 38 weeks. Good luck and try to take it easy. The end result will be soo worth it!

nicola--glad you're feeling better!

As for me, my MIL is here helping with the twins, so that's why I actually have some time to write! The babies are getting their first visitors this afternoon, and I'm excited to see some of my friends. Of course, Ellie just projectile spit up all over her cute little outfit, so it's time for yet another change!

HOpe you all are doing well!

Sorry been away for a few days so haven't been on line. Had a lovely summer holiday in the English pouring rain!! Was good to be away together and just made the most of it but was a shame not to have a dry and sunny day!

Can't believe how eventful your pregnancies have been/are.

Nance- Congratulations on the birth of Lily. So pleased all is well.

Angellica- Sorry to hear about your scare, but glad all is well for the moment. Keep us posted.

Rachel, Colleen and Kim- how is motherhood going? are things settling down?

Jeck- so pleased your trip went well, and you are so close to bringing your little boy home. Will be thinking of you. Sorry you haven't been too well tho and hope this resolves soon.

All well with me at the moment. Just been to the midwife, and measuring only 1 week behind dates so fingers crossed I will be ok this pregnancy. Seeing the consultant at 36 weeks and midwife again at 37 so will nearly be there then.
Have become a little concerned though as DD has become a real 2 year old in the last few weeks! A right terror! Oh well won't last forever but not sure how well I'll cope with this and a new baby. Could be interesting!

Take care all and hope to keep reading the good news.

hi girls a quick one... i hear gavin making noise... the kid is always eating, but that's ok.. i love the time with him...

Nance-congrats!!!! awesome!! can not wait to see some pictures... hope that you are feeling better and the UTI is gone

angellica-hope that things are going well and roman is doing well... hang in there, not too much longer!!

nicola- hope that you too are well... soon we will all have had our babies!! it's fun to see the next baby born, and one more healthy one!! your time will be here soon

casy- you are one of the few left to deliver... hope that it goes smooth, and that DD calms a bit before the birth... you can wish... it only took my DS a little bit to adjust, but he still is HIGH energey and runs around like srazy... now on top of that he's not listening to us... there are way to many time outs every day...

ellie-you girls are so close to the end, enjoy your pregnancy, and soon you'lll have a little baby!!

jeck- hope that he gets to come home soon... we'll say a prayer that is is a VERY short time.... so glad that you had a great visit!!!

kim- hope that the twins are giving you a little more time... and that they are forming a schedule for you and gaining a bunch of weight!!!

as for us... we are ok.... gavin is still eating like a champ and gaining good weight... he was 4 weeks yesterday, wow the time is going by so fast!!! i'm still trying to get him on a schadule... we'll do good a day or two, then we have a few REALLY bad nights, followed by a good night... so we are still working it out... last night was not too bad, just that he's up wide awake for 2 1/2 hours ( the same time he was up while in my tummy) so i think that he's still not quite on the right schedule.. we'll get there.... he's started to smile... it's the BEST thing, especially at 3:30am...

well girls... ihope that everyone is well, and taking care!!!

Hello everyone :-)

Nance Big Congrats!!!! I hope you had an easy time delivering little Lilly.

Tasha I am glad you and Aubry are home now and on the mend. It stinks when a little one has to go through too much. My son when he was 3 years old had to be hospitialized with the flu and had to have an IV in his forehead. We basically had to wrap him up and hold him around the clock. :-(

Kim I am glad the BF is going much better! You are an amazing woman and seem to be doing such an awesome job!!!!! I am logging on to photo bucket to upload pictures of Naomi and see those beautiful babies. They are so cute!!!!!! Also one of the pictures I posted of Naomi has her laying in a boppy. I really think these pillows help get baby comfortable for nursing. Try not to stress over the BF thing, just do the best that you can and if it doesn't work out it doesn't work out.

Colleen- Naomi has like regressed on the sleeping thing. We had to travel 4 hours away to my oldest daughters horse show and stayed in a hotel and since then she has only been sleeping about 4 hours at a time. I read were someone said they have a growth spurt at 3 weeks so maybe that is in. Since Gavin is so big I guess it is pretty normal for him to sleep that amount of time.

Jeck - It is great to hear from you!!!! I will say a prayer that the paperwork gets finalized quick and you can bring your precious angel home soon.

Angelica I hope you are able to hang out a bit longer but even if you can't everything will be fine. :-) It is such a relief to be past that 33 week point!

Sorry for anyone I have left out. I have post pardom mush brain. :-(

Naomi is doing well but she has regressed and is only sleeping about 3 -4 hours :-( hopefully it is just a growth spurt. Bf has been going pretty good but I do a bad thing and drink too much Diet Coke and not enough water and it slows down my milk production. :-( And my nipples are really sore! I have been putting Lanoline on them and it helps and when it is too painful I pump and bottle feed. I posted some new pictures of Naomi today. One is her after her shower when we were out of town for a horse show that my oldest daughter kicked butt in :-) I also rode a horse for the first time in like a year Monday. It felt great, but it was really hard to pull my big butt up on my big horse. :-(

Well take care everyone,
Cowgirl

i'll say sorry right off... i'm having a really bad day... but hoping to let it out a little... hope you girls do not mind.... i'm just VERY sleep deprived and my two other boys are driving me nuts because i can not take them in the pool, and they think that it's ok to let them go theirselves... NO WAY!!! and it too hot to take Gavin out, so they are stuck in... i took them to the mall, but that was just as bad... they both thought that they could act like they were at the playground and run around knocking things down... sorry it's just one of those days... DH is going to have to take them when he gets home so i can get some sanity back!!!

well other then that Gavin is good... but boy i need more sleep... someday... right????

hope that all you others are doing well , and hanging in there

Hello Girls!

Colleen - Fear not, our ears are always open! Sleep will happen again. Gavin will get into a routine (maybe not yours, but a routine none the less). As for your other sons, I have found that planning special activities during those odd days we have to stay in help alot. For example, we made homemade biscuit pizzas today since I am tired and I have company coming in tonight. The boys love the time with me and it helps them relieve some energy. We do this while Makayla is taking one of her naps. We have made cookies, pizza, bread, and hot chocolate. The boys really enjoy it and now they even do extra chores to earn more time with me. Good luck girl, we are both in the boat with three kids to chase!

Trisha - I am thrilled to hear you have gotten back on a horse again. I am personally thrilled to finally be fully capable to doing just about everything. In fact, I got on my scale for the first time and was soooooo happy. I am only three pounds above my prepregnancy weight. With a little effort, I think I will be able to lose the weight I had gained from my second pregnancy in no time. As for the reversal, Makayla did it too. She started getting up every hour and nursing for half an hour. She did this for a couple of days and then returned back to her 3-4 hour schedule. If you just stopped taking the pain killers from your C-Section, this will cause the baby's schedule to change. That was Makayla's problem, she was sleepy from the pain killers, but when I stopped, she was suddenly not sleepy.

Nance - Congrats! Lilly sounds wonderful. I hope your delivery was smooth. Take care and rest with your angel.

I have to go, I will sign on again later!

Hey gals,

Just checking in to say hi! colleen, sorry to hear about your day. I feel your pain! I'm sure tomorrow will be better, right?

Hey c-section gals....how long did your docs tell you that you had to wait until you could drive again? I'm feeling pretty good as far as my surgery goes. I'm off the vicadin, and I'm only taking ibuprofen once in the morning, and once at night....just to help inflamation keep at bay. I plan on going totally off by the end of the week. I'm doing some light work around the house...nothing major, though. Just curious as to what your limitations are.
I can't remember if my doc even said anything about driving....it's all a blur.....

cowgirl--already back on a horse? wow!

I'll check in again tomorrow when I have more time. The babes are sleeping right now, and I have a ton of thank you notes to work on. Ugh.

Hello Girls... sorry I have been MIA - I just never knew how much time a little one takes... however, I'm not complaining at all - Aubrey is a joy. I can't believe she is already a month old and getting so big. We have started introducing formula - we're at 1 oz. right now mixed with breast milk... so far so good. Although I have noticed she is more gassy on formula... but not to bad. She goes in for her 1 month check-up this Saturday... I'm guessing 8 lbs. 14 oz., but we'll see. DH's family is actually coming in this weekend for a visit... this will be the first time they have seen her in person - I'm so excited. Also she is doing great with sleeping... she usually goes down at 10:00pm and sleeps for 5 hours and we eat and go back down for another 5 hours... she's doing great.

Kim- I'm glad to heard your doing well... keep up the good work w/ the twins.

Colleen- I hope your having a better day today... however, you have every right to get frustrated at times... just make DH help more when he gets home. 3 kids is a lot to handle.... good luck!

Cowgirl- glad to hear your doing well... wow already on a horse - that's great.

CasyP- glad to hear your doing well... your little one will be here soon enough.

Nance- Congrats on Lily... what a great weight... can't wait to see pictures of her.

Angellica- sorry to hear your having such a rough time w/ Roman... hopefully things get better for you soon.

Racheal- congrats on the weight... I actually got on the scale the other day too and was shocked. I have actually lost all my pregnancy weight plus 15 pounds... god bless breast feeding!

Well if I missed anyone I'm sorry... Aubrey is getting fussy now - so time to go. I hope your all well...

Tasha
