Kelly, I noticed the same thing, mine were sore, but now the last few days they aren't sore at all. I'm a little worried as well. I haven't had ANY preg symptoms at all! Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

carebear, did you have breast tenderness and then it went away? I am not sure I'd be as worried if I didn't have it, but since I did and now it has disappeared I am worried.

My DH keeps saying, no point in worrying because it won't change anything but I can't help it - even though I know he is right!
I took my nieces swimming this morning and nearly bawled at the swimming pool because of all the moms there with their babies. I am starting to fall apart!

Kelly, I understand where you're coming from, last week I co-hosted a baby shower for a friend at work. Now that was hard!!!! Always a bridesmaid never a bride...ha ha... :) When is it MY TURN!!! Ok, now I'm sounding selfish!

Has anyone heard the outcome of Crislyn's test yesterday???

kelly, yeah i had breast tenderness for the whole week of my transfer then 3 days after transfer i suddenly didnt have it anymore and on the 2nd my beta came out positive...but now ladies im terrified i have no pregnancy symptoms, and my nurse calls me today and just scares the crap out of me...she said that my beta of 85 was normal but it in order for it to not be considered a chemical pregnancy and to be considered a viable pregnancy it has to double, is that true does it have to double?? now im terrified she said that chemical pregnancies can start off high and then not double so if it doesnt double by thurs they will do 1 more on mon then we will go from there..so now im terrified what do i do? so worried and scared now. im supposed to be happy i got my bfp now im terrified.

Brandi,
Although it is true the number has to double (or to be more specific, at least 1.6 times your previous number), there is nothing to be afraid of. We all had to go for a 2nd beta. That is standard procedure, and regarding your lack of symptoms, look at me, I don't feel a thing, and my second beta was OK. So try to relax a little, pamper yourself (get a mani-pedicure, nice haircut, get a massage, spend the afternoon with a friend talking about anything but IVF, etc).
I went to see a funny movie when I was feeling anxious. That helped a lot. Laughter is a good remedy for anxiety. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that you're not alone and we are experiencing the same things.
Well, I better get back to work. My God! this forum has become almost an addiction...
Talk to you guys later...

Congrats Michelle - that is awesome! I am so excited for you! What was your beta?

I am feeling really down today because I started spotting. while I know that spotting is normal, my last cycle this happened two days before my pt and it turned out I had a chemical pregnancy. I was worried when my boobs stopped being sore yesterday but then when I started spotting today... I am devastated. I thought this time was the time for me. I don't know what we'll do now.

kellym i am really worried about having a chemical pregnancy. also up to today i have spotted nothing at all i had the chemical pregnacy on my 2nd ivf try i also spotted and had some back pain. i am having back pain but i am not sure if it's cause i am in bed almost allday, or just sitting around. i am trying to rest as much as i can. would you be able to answer me if back pain is a symptom of a chemical pregnancy. i go in for my pre. test on friday july 6.

Thank you all for your well wishes. I couldn't have gotten through all of this without all of the support. I am still in shock though.

My HCG was in the mid 40's. I was so worried because everyone elses was so high but I found several sites on the internet that show the average ranges. I'm just on day 14 right now, so I think I'm ok. I go back in 2 days for a follow up test to make sure my numbers are rising.

HCG Levels during Pregnancy
Days Past Ovulation Normal HCG Levels:
MIU/ML

7 Days 5-50 (avg. 14)
14 Days 5-50 (avg. 21)
21 Days 5-50 (avg. 42)
28 Days 10-425
35 Days 19-7,340
42 Days 1,080-56,500
7-8 weeks 7,650-229,000
9-12 weeks 25,700-288,000
13-16 weeks 13,300-254,000
17-24 weeks 4,060-165,400
25-40 weeks 3,640-117,000

I've also been having some cramping ladies, and no breast tenderness. I have cramping in both my abdomen and lower back. No other signs/symptoms as of yet but it is pretty early. I'm sure things will change in the next couple of weeks.

Bobo, good luck on your test Friday. Sending you lots of babydust!!!!!

And Kay, I'm crossing everything for you on your test tomorrow. I hope that early BFP is confirmed with your blood test! :)
