Mybaby, I just had to test. I was so impatient. I'm glad that I did because I was prepared when RE called and said it was negative. It totally sucked to get the negatives but I'm glad I did and would do it again. I think it's a totally personal choice though.

Jen, LMBO at your Survivor's Guilt comment! Haha! I'm truly happy for all you girls with BFPs. I have every intention of joining you in a month or so!! I'm soooo rooting for you ALL!

Jen, I'm going to the Buckhead office next Thursday for my post IVF consult. I've never been to that office before but the soonest I could see Dr. Toner was to go there. I work on Chattahoochee Avenue though, so I think I'm pretty close. Good luck tomorrow!!!

heartfelt congratulations to Laurie and Elvisbaby!! wow - so thrilled for you both and for your families! what wonderful news to share. I'm sure you are just beaming.

Good luck to Jen for tomorrow, and to Stacey who tests on the 11th!
And good luck to Mybaby, Sher, and the rest of us testing on the 12th! Quinny are you also testing on the 12th?

pretty amazing that out of the whole month, so many are testing right around the same time --

to those of you with BFP's - it is so wonderful to hear of your success! You've proven that it can be done and it gives the rest of us hope for this time around, or next time -- if it comes to that...
Bask in your happiness, you deserve it!

Melanie - best of luck on your new cycle! Glad you are jumping right back in the game.

all the best,
Amy

Hey Melanie- I live near Chattahoochee Avenue. The only bad thing about the buckhead office is that it's at Piedmont Hospital, so it's always very busy. Give yourself a little extra time (not too much) to park. I hope your appointment goes well. Do you have stats on FET at ACRM? I'm hoping for you!!!!

First of all, thanks so much for your support. I don't know what I would do without it! :)

Secondly, mybaby, you asked what kind of test I used. To be honest, it is one that I got off the internet at early-pregnancy-tests.com. It is supposed to have a detection rate of 20mIU/ml. I got some free when I bought my ovulation monitor last year. They claim to be very reliable. (I actually had to look all this back up online).

Thirdly, I took my test at about 2:00 this morning. I couldn't help it, I had to pee and didn't want to wait. I probably was not as coherent or patient as I should have been.

So with all of this said, I dug the test out of the garbage this morning and it showed a positive. Of course, I know this is an ultimate no, no because of evaporation lines, etc. Then I remember Jen talking about peeonastick.com. I looked it up, they were not recommending the test to be very accurate.

I then, like Jen, held my pee for four hours, took another test, waited the entire 5 minutes I was suppose to (don't think I did this morning) and there it was, a very faint positive line. :o

Of course now my mind goes back to the peeonastick website that said the test is unreliable, so I don't know what to believe. But there is a little glimmer of hope once again. I'll probably have DH stop and get a proper test on his way home from work and try again tomorrow morning. What can it hurt, right??? :?

Laurieand Elvis - congrats on your official BFP!!

Anyway, thanks again for the support.

Kerri- Everything I have read (and believe me, I have had a LOT of time on my hands this past month-to research the internet. I really could be an RE if anyone needs to switch doctors- HAHA) says that any faint positive is a positive provided it's within the 10 minute window. Was the second one within the time frame? I would definitely do another type tomorrow morn- unless you can hold your pee for another 4 hours tonight!! As I have stated, I am a hpt addict and have done the following tests in two days:

Dollar Tree- 4 of them. 3 have come back positive, 1 negative
FRER- 1 of them. Faint positive
Clear Blue Digital- 2 of them. Both said" pregnant"
Walmart Equate- 1 of them positive

Okay, now that's embarrassing!! Really!!! I need help!!!
Try a different brand or brands!!! Everything is crossed!!

I have a question. I am curious to know what your clinic's policies about intercourse after the BFP. My clinic says no intercourse/orgasm through the 1st trimester. I was wondering if that was par for the course. Granted, I will do whatever it takes to ensure that a pregnancy sticks. It just seems like a long time.

I did another hpt this morning (a FRER) and it showed positive! I told my DH sorry I made him cry yesterday for no reason, he told me it was good to have a cry every once in a while. He is so good! My DH had to get up at 4:15 this morning, that is when I tested. I just can't go back to sleep for some reason.

Congrats Brandi, Lynne, and Laurie on such great beta numbers. Good luck today Jennifer with your test. I test tomorrow. Amy, don't you test tomorrow?

Have a great day! :D

Kerri- YEA!!!! You can now be a testament to others who get negatives and then positives!!! Also, my clinic says no sex!!

I also awoke early- I am so nervous about my test this morning. Last night when I wiped, I got this very watery mucus tinged with beige. I stared at it forever, willing it to go away. It was very faint brown. Or course, I kept going back to the bathroom every five minutes to check, but it was gone, and so far this morning- nothing. It's sad that a tiny spot of brown can make me come unhinged!!! Has anyone had this?

Amy and Mybaby- are you getting anxious???
