Hi ladies,
Hope you don't mind my crashing your board :D :D :D . I saw this was a 2ww board (even though most of you aren't waiting anymore) and I have read all your posts from the beginning. You seem like such a warm supportive group. Congratulations to the new mommies to be! I am thrilled for you all. I wish you healthy and joyous pregnancies. Although most of you have graduated from the 2ww (lucky you!), I was drawn to you guys because you seem so sweet. I just started my 2ww yesterday and I thought you all might be a great resourse and keep me from going crazy.

I had my ET yesterday. They transferred 4 embies. One 8-cell that was a grade 2, and three 5-cell that were grade 3. 1 is the best and 4 is the worst. Did anyone else see the pictures of their embies? Mine do not look like the textbook embies at all. They had a lot of fragmentation and are not symmetrical at all. What quality of embies did you all have? I am trying to be positive, but this is what I am obessessing over right now. I am sure it will be something else tommorrow  .

Thanks all!

Hey!!

Shellbell!

Preclympsia is due to 3 things as you know... HBP, protein in your urine and a lg amount of water retention. I don't have HBP normally- However it does run in my family and by the time my brothers were my age they were on HBP meds. The BIGGEST shock to me was gaining 25 lbs in 10 days- poking the skin on my legs hand having it stay indented FOREVER!!!Because it started during my34 week, they just tried to get me to 37weeks... I had to go to the clinic every other day for baby monitering and BP. I was suppose to be on bed rest, but the doc knew that because I had my own practice that I would be a hard sell and truthfully, if I came early, it would have been ok..Dude weighed in a 8 lbs 12 oz. I would have hated to see what he weighed in at 40 weeks... :P

Marmy(sp?) :P I too got a BFN on our first IVF 2 years ago, we had some frozen(4) and in Aug( 1 1/2month later) I had an FET done. 37 weeks later I had Jack!!!! He is healthy and wonderful. What helped me was acupuncture. I don't know if it is hookey or whatever, but she did increase the blood flo to my uterus(my period after the meds for the FET was bright red, not ususal brown. ) and I did acupuncture for this round of IVF. Whatever works righ? ARe you going to do an FET or a fresh cycle? It will happen- did for me and I am way older than you!

take care

Hi ladies, hope everyone is well and coping ok.

dixiegal, yes I already have a set of twins, they're fab and they're nearly six!!
I have defo gained weight about 10lbs in fact, which I am extremely paranoid about already. Are you going to find out the sex of them? I just knew straight away that I was having 2 boys.

Hi Jen and welcome to the thread, I hope you get your bfp, what date do you test on?
In answer to your question, I had two embies put back 1 5 cell (grade 1 - which is the best) and 1 4 cell (grade 2).

Goodluck and keep us posted, you're most certainly right about this thread, the girls on here are all lovely and seem like friends..

To the rest of our bunch, don't forget to check in and update.

And Lulis if you are reading I am so very sorry about your news....you're in my thoughts

leah, if you read this whole thread you will see that several women had some type of light spotting. a positive on an hpt now should be accurate ..... but remember that a negative this early doesnt mean anything.
believe me ... everyone of us on this board have had our share of strenuous worry... but try to hang in there and stay positive.
