I too am intrigues about the drugs that jackie also questioned! can you fill us in? x x

Congratulation too to you Jen...AT last the last hurdle is in site!!! Your ED is here and eggs/ embies are soon to come your way :D :D :D about the counselling i have sent you an e-mail about my thoughts. x x big hugs honey you are on the 2nd last lap of tmt. x x x

becky- guess we must have posted yest'day at the same time. Still awating AF thanks for the jigging. Did you go food or summer sales shopping yesterday? I hope you changed out of your PJ's  ( or Jammies as we call them up here) LOL have a good week off work

Jackie your hol sounds fab not long until your chill out in the sun.we went to Mauritius 2 yrs ago now in November and it wass bloomin hot. Loved going on catameran ( spelling :? ) boat trips for the day...superb BBQ's...and spending time snorking and seeing loads of beautiful coloured fishes. Was a fab holiday that we took after loosing our babies it really helped cheer us up. enjoy x x Anout BB i too think Charley is terrible but I enjoy venting frustration at the telly and at her. thinkn it miht be a tad boring without her. fed up with Cahnners and Ziggy stuff really gone off the wimpy guy. Liam is a honey tho and so down to earth  me likeee him x x

Gill Hope you had a good night out...couldn't work out from your post if you wanted to go or not? How are you doing with the patches? any rashes from them? When are you due to go back to Im for Hy???????y ( thingy test, sorry am crap at spelling)

Pequele- I have always done 1st pee of the day. Hope that helps???? or has it confused you further. All i know ( and you prob know more being a pharmasist) is that hcg shows up 10-14 days after transfer or 17 days after hcg inj in ivf if you are preg. So when been preg inpast it has always shown up on AF due day. good luck x x

Rachel- what a good hubby you have making the dinner!!!! Mine only does that if i am in bed sick or it's a BBQ day. Though he does unload
the dishwasher every day so thats something. What did he make you? x x

A big hi to everyone else Shantala , Aunty and everyone else i have mssed off personals.

I am still awiting AF but as said yesterday think the hormones are more balanced after the little bleed on Sunday morn. so at least i am more human  Our 10mth old pup ( nearly full grown now) was in vets yesterday getting his op...yes THE operation...and a repair on birth hernia where his tummy btton is. The poor soul was very sorry for himself last night and kept whining . Obviously didn't know what was going on. So I was up a lot during the night giving him lots of hugs. Seems better today but still be sore for a couple of weeks. The house painters, that were painting the wooden parts of the outseide of the house windows, boards around frame of house etc, started on Friday. Did quite a lort and said they would be back on monday morn 8am. It rained all day yest'day so they called off and said would be back when no rain. I was up early today awaiting them at 8am as no rain and now 10.15 and still no show. No answer on their phone so a bit pissed at them. Working at 12 so will need to leave soon...and have friends staying wed-sun so don't want painters and windows open with guests here but can do nothing about it. Hoped it would all be finished by now but as usual the rainy weather causes problems.
I sent off all my blood/tests and past tmt info to IM yesterday...so things are becoming more real. 2wks to appointment....i am so excited.

anyways catch ya all later
much love to everyone
love jen B

Hi Girls

Jackie- Thanks I had a great time with my mate :D but sadly no vino :( I was driving!!

Jeb B- The patches are fine they irritate a bit, by the 4th day I cant wait to take them off so I can put new ones on in a different place, I am left with a sore red outline of where they have been but it doesn't last long, nothing to worry about. We are going back for the doppler and hysteroscopy on the 26th I just hope they dont find another problem with me :? I think we have enough problems now. I had a great time last night it was great to catch up.
Hope af shows for you soon she can be a right b**ch  . How is your puppy? I hope he/she is feeling better. Glad to hear that you have sent your tests etc off to IM, you are sorted for your appointment now, I bet you cant wait. Hope you get your painting done soon.

Jen- It's definately all happening for you now!! :D I feel like I am on the rollercoaster good and proper! Just hope there are only ups from now on.
I think we have made a decision :? :? ( see end of my post).

Carolyn-Hope you are ok, have your feet up and are nice and relaxed.Look after yourself and those 3 little embies x :D

Angel- Hi, good to have you back. :D

Becky- I was glad to hear you finaly got out of your pj's  But I cant talk If I could I would wear mine to work!!Hope you managed to get your washing dry.

Rachel- Sorry to hear about your dh step gramp, how is dh? Hope you can arrange things with the funeral and your holiday. Did you get your car back ok?

Had an email of the Dr at the IM clinic today, she said that with dh swimmers the possibility of not having any normal embies exists and they think that its higher than normal  . She said that using donor sperm would increase our chances and it would mean that we didnt need to have PGD. She said its up to us but if we just want a baby and dont mind its not genetically related they advise we use donor sperm. Dh has said from the very begining that he does not care, but I have always thought that we would be able to use his sperm, oh well we were quite happy to adopt I suppose that this is no different, I think we have decided to go the donor egg and sperm route but we will first talk to the doctor when we are at the clinic on the 26th. Her email made me cry because of the caring way she had written it, she is lovely and I am glad that she is looking after us. I am not too upset, I want a baby and we will do watever it takes, I am just so happy that I have got a dh that thinks the same :D I love him to bits!

Sorry to all I have missed, hope you are well
Take care
Lots of love

hello my lovely ladies!!!

ooohhh, lots of positive vibes on this in the last couple of days!!! yey!! :D :D

carolyn - woooooooooohhhhhhhooooooooo fantastic news on bringing your embies back!!! and also good news that you wont be on a full 2ww...more like a "nearly 2ww"...every day less helps! hope you're resting and get good news soon about your soon-to-be-frosties. sounds like you had some great embies there! same as nimble, i'm very intrigued as to all the stuff they've given you...when you feel up for it i'd love to hear what everything is for. but in the meantime rest, and we'll see you here soon! (and dont worry about work!!!)

aunty - hey hun!!!! thanks for being so excited for me. it certainly does bring back memories!! lets just hope this time with a different outcome though! great that you're getting excited about moving...you poor thing, i'm sure it must be getting you down at times! not long now though. my god, i was laughing so much about your comment about sam and the paint!   warm, sophisticated and you get sleeping in a room that out shines the sun!!! hahahaha....  hope you get it all sorted hun! would love to see some pictures when its done! oh, and no probs about charity!! (oh, and would you believe we still havent had the second mortgage through to pay for our 2nd try!!! the solicitor is mucking us around big time so i've pt in a complaint and things are moving a bit quicker now!)

pequele - hey hun, sorry, cant help on the IUI i'm afraid as we were never offered that option. we were told to go straight to ICSI as dh's sperm count is too low for IUI. best of luck though...not long to go!!

JB -hey hun!! love your posts, they're always so chirpy! (sp) thanks for the good luck wishes on the stimming. i've been on and will be again on puregon. 150. i didnt have problems stimming as such but had lots of immature eggs so ended up with only 5 mature eggs. will push them this time to leave me an extra day as i think they collected me too early. so hoping to get more and then maybe some frosties!? sorry AF is still playing you up but glad you're feeling better with it all. hope she sorts herself out soon for ya! and oohh, how exciting, only 2 weeks to go!

welshbugger - hey hun! love it that you've been in pjs all weekend! we all need that every now and then! i'll give dh a big hug from you (bless ya)...hhmmm, not sure what ive done to him! he is older than me, maybe i'm killing him off slowly....  only joking...more like "nite nite darling, feeling knackered from work and not feeling like it what with all these hormones all over the place and me being prodded forever more down there...."  lol...sorry about confusing you about the days off thing. i was writing stuff down as i was thinking it so it didnt make sense. i needed to book all my lieu time and annual leave that i had left yesterday before the middle of august...have decided to take off next tuesday (have D/R test at 8 in the morning and thought i might as well book the rest of the day off), have booked off the thu and fri before the anticipated week of EC, and have booked the whole week of anticipated EC week off as sick (told them i'm having a minor gynae procedure done on mon 6th, which isnt lying! and said i'd need all that week off and potentially some of the following depending on how i feel). so i'm all sorted with work! :D phew, sorry for the long post but since you asked... so for the list (not sure how much you want to know in advance) but next app is on the 24th july (next tues) which is D/R check. then get results after 3pm on the 25th and if i'm d/regged ok, will start stimms on the 26th, first follie scan on the 3rd aug with anticipated EC and ET week commencing 6th Aug. oh my god, it's all going so quick! anyway, hope you got your house sorted out after leaving your daughter on her own!  xx

jen1d - fantastic news that they have found someone!! woohoooo!!! i'm so pleased for you as you needed a bit of good news to pick you up! not quite sure how you can be "past counselling stage", surely counselling is never too late?!? anyway, good luck for thursday and let us know how you get on!

nimble - hey hun, how you're doing?? aaahhh, mauritius!!!! sounds lovely. definitely on my list of places to visit! we'll have to get together before you go! thats 2 people now that have mentioned about what am i doing to dh (you and becky!)   told ya, i'm killing him off slowly by the sounds of it! (not!!!) yeah, great news about charity! give your hubby a slap on his wrist for me...fancy having that extra BIG pint!!  bless him!! what are your plans now if you dont mind me asking. dont worry if you're not ready to discuss them! xx

angel - welcome back and hope you catch up with us all soon! get ready for the emotional rollercoaster when you read all the posts! but we're all on a positive vibe at the moment so you've come back at the right time! lol. read you soon!!

rachel - so sorry to hear about your dh's step gramp...send him cyberhugs from me (and you!). hope it all goes as well as can be expected! x

gill - hey, sorry to hear about the possibility of abnormalities. its something that ive been wondering about just lately as i'm wondering what the chances are of dh's sperm having abnormalities. anyway, tough call but sounds like you know which way to go. whatever you decide it sounds like you have your dh behind you, which is great!!! and you'll also have us right behind you!

hi to everyone else!!! i'm all good, d/r still and go in for my d/r test next tuesday. (more detailed stuff is in my post to becky... ) cant believe how quickly time is flying! have been d/r for 2 and a half weeks already and less than one week to go till my test!! OMG!! i remember it flying last time, next thing i'll know it'll be time for EC and ET! anyway, still feeling ok and definitely much better than last time. side effects arent as bad as last time and my D/R AF was absolutely fine (and still is actually) whereas last time it was a killer. think i'm more relaxed (to the point where i forgot to sniff yesterday evening, turned the alarm off and then forgot about it, and remembered over an hour later! ) anyway, enough from me!

sorry about the long post!!! but good luck and sticky baby dust to all!!

Good Morning all...how is everyone today?

gill- ah hun nothing about having babies for us is easy is it! Must be so hard for you and DH going through all those decisions, many couples would have buckled under the pressure. Goes to show that you two are so strong together and will make great parents :D :D So good that IM are giving you such specialised tmt and such personal e-mail it really helps to hear they are so caring towards you. So it's a week on thurs away for your doppler and hysteroscopy. are you staying just for 1 night again? Hoe you get results quickly and tmt starts soon after. Think you've had all the problems your gonna have and it will be plain sailing from now on. x x x

jen How's the studying going? are you managing to do any with all thats going on? you must be so excited that ED is found and ET will be colser than ever now!!!!! Hope all goes well at docs tomorrow and you get the help you want x x

Angel- Hi to ya hun

Becky how's your chill out week off going? What books did you buy to read? Last 1 i bought was Jilly Cooper Wicked, it was a funny read. I missed BB last night. we live in a cul de sac and the whole street was out in the late night sun ( get it while you can eh!!!!) having dinner and drinks. Ended up never got to bed until 1am. Nightmare on a school night and DH was up at 5.30 for work. So what's going on in BB house? How did they take the nominations? Want Nicki to go have never liked her and i think gerry is okay. Ziggy is doing my head in as much as charley now...all this on off stuff...crap x x

carolyn hope our resting up good and well honey...are you on greys anatomy no 2 yet???? Snuggle in and embed embies.... sending you more ***sticky dust*** and ***baby dust*** today. Watch out for it hun it's a truck load!!!!

Rachel- Aw hun sorry to hear about step gran and impending funeral. I am sure they will understand that you are on your holiday and stay with somene else. wher abouts is your caravan? Dh and i went down to the south West Devon/ cornwall area 3 years ago and loved it.Only been to wales a fewtimes ( aberdaron) but e have friends that have a caravan in Wales and go every year ( can't reamemnber where...i know i am terrible at remembering things) and are ivited next year. great mountain biking like scotland. they love it. Is your car okay now? Mine comes back today.

Shantala- love your long post :D Know all about getting a re-morgage for ivf ours is just through and it took 8 wks  ... said to our solicitor that just as well we wern't buying another house or the sale would have fallen through!!!!! Will be using another solicitor in the future!!!! hope you get yours sorted soon Hun. About the stimms i was on 350 and ended up stimming for 14 days. How long did you stim for last time? Soooooo hope they keep you stimming for longer and you get all the mature eggs you need and more ( 5 is still good though). LOL at forgeting to sniff saga. x x good to hear yoou are more relaxed at tmt this time....I will remind you all about being relaxed at your 2ww...Haha!!! lol hun x x

aunty our decorating queen...hows all your colours today? Did you manage to change the yellow to a more pporpriate mocha at the shop? Hope all is well in the run up to your move!!! Not long now!

A big hi to everyone i have missed.... hugs x x x

As mentioned earier on in post ended up joining a spontanious dinner/ drinking night in our street . We live in a cul de sac of 8 houses and many kids. It wass a lovely sunny night and so good to be outside. For Dh and i it was our 1st time with many of the street. ( we've only been here 8 months) rraelly enjoyed it but didn't get in to 1am  Broc ( my pup) is doing fine today. Dh had a laugh causse he was whining so much yesterday my friend and i gave him baby calpol (spelling???) It worked a treat and he stopped whinning and slept most of the night. Don't understand why the vet didin't give him any painkillers (after having his boy bits off and tummy button hernia removed.) He is a lot more settled today. Little sweetheart so he is he was good with all the kids last night even though he was so sore .x x
The house painters did not arrive yesterday even thogh it was sunny from 1pm onwards. AND they didn't phone & still not...Anyway thier problem as they have done a days work and left all their ladders here. Problem is i am working different hours next week and can't always be in when they will need to work. That's their problem...It's gone freezing cold today and i have had to put the heating on this morn, and it's raining again :( Loved the sunny heat yesterday...

anyway enough of my weather moans have agreat day everyone

love and hugs to ya all

Afternoon Ladies :)

Ive just got a call from my clinic giving me an unconfirmed date of EC !!!

Flip they are good lol - i havent even had AF yet lol.

Anyway, she asked when my next AF was due - i told her 7th Aug (on a 28days mth) but that im usually about 33-35 day lady - but that my last one was 11 days late - arghhhhhhhh! So anyway, she penciled me in for EC on the 1st Oct assuming that my AF comes on 11/12th August!!! (33 day mth)

After she came off the phone i was thinking that summit is happening in Oct and then it hit me - Brians wee sisters wedding on the 6th :(

Soooooooooo - if AF comes on time (7th Aug) i will have had EC end Sept which means i be ok by then - if it arrives on or around 11th - then i wont be :( well i suppose i will be ok like, just have ET on 3rd and wedding on 6th - has anyone had anything so major going on when they were around EC and ET - im petrified of it all going wrong - what is AF arrived 15 or 16th August, means EC is ue the day she gets married, and there is no way i can do that.

This wedding means so much to Brian and his family. She is the only girl and has been with her BF for 11 years, this is the wedding of the centuary let alone the year lol, there is no way i can do it again next mth is there really

Looks like i will have to wait untill AF shows and work out from there - please please please please AF just his once be early or at least on time ....

I know i got weeks away yet, but there no harm is starting praying early is there lol.

Havent i heard somewhere on here that someone went for Acc and it helped to bring their AF on time????

Anyone .....

A worried and peeved off Becky (again!) Xxxx

 Hi

Becky - Your life sounds more complicated than mine. I'm sure everything will work out, we usually always worry and stress about things then look back on them after the event and realise it all falls into place

Carolyn - How you doing, hope your resting? Has dh been spoiling you?

JenB - My heating is on tonight to, it crap eh. I want to move back to London, at least its warmer there-------but Tuscany would be even nicer

Shantala - Wow, thats some book you wrote lol. You sound like everything is running along smoothly---not long until our next girl is on her 2ww and heading for a BFP

Gill - So glad you have managed to reach a decison and you and dh are happy. What Doc do you have? Ours is Dr Guix she's lovely.
Your dh sounds lovely, hang on to him. Not long to go now.

Rachel - Sorry about Gramp. Understand about the hols, dont feel bad, its better to be honest and thats what we're here for, we understand---families eh

Becky - Where did the sun come from, will you send some up here, we have rain again :x

Angel - Welcome back, catch up soon.

Hi to everyone else

Well i had the sleepover shift from hell. Two missing yp and one threatened to assault me---brat----but he was soon sorted out  Got new staff coming, rota problems, manager problems and me and another senior seem to get dumped with everything and expected to run the place------for the same salary  I tell you, they will realise how much work i do when i'm gone
So am now home and have 4 days off, bliss. Its raining and i'm having a pj night----Becky  ----going to chill, watch BB and have an early night before Dr app tomorrow morning. Will let you know how i get on.

Away to find some tea for us.

Love Jen x

bloody hell - just typed out my post then suddenly it went arrrgggghhhhh

so here goes again......apologies if its a little shorter now!!

Becky - it never rains but poors for you.....yr social and IVF don't seem to match up very well do they!! Before you panic too much, wait to see when she arrives, she'll arrive purposefully late if she knows you're dependant on her...thats the kind of woman she is  Acu has helped me in the past to bring her on, and both times it happened within days of seeing the acu so it is worth looking at - I'm likely to go again this month just to get back into some sort of regular cycle again.

I watch BB on E4 - they usually show the previous night on there as my DH won't let watch either so I either tape it (sad I know) on sky + or watch it the next day. Nicky and Jerry are up for eviction this week, hope Nicky goes as she is so stroppy and such a back stabber. As for Ziggy/chanelle, well I cringe when I see how chanelle behaves but then again she is only 19, but also think Ziggy is mucking her around, one minute he is like, can't handle it, gotta split up and the next minute he is like i want a cuddle...... but i do like chanelle.

JB - you lil party raver!! I love those unplanned events, they always turn out to be the best ones. Did the painters arrive (hey and I mean both types....get it....heee heee)) sorry spent the day on my own so slowly going mad!!

Hope Broc is ok, what kind of dog is he?

Shantala - yep must def go out again and will email you some dates before your schedule gets too busy with IVF. Haven't got any major plans, going to see my consultant on the 7th a) to tell him of the pg b) to ask if there is anything he can test for before I go for IVF again just in case I have a hostile womb or something that is causing me to m/c, then it's off on hols and hopefully AF won't be coming along so may try again to see if we get lucky but if not, then back to IVF when we are back. I need to have a plan, its what keeps me going knowning that there is something in the pipeline.

Gill - its nice when you get such a caring DR and she sounds lovely and what a husband. It must be so difficult for a man to make that decision and I can understand why you love him so much, it shows what a strong couple you are too.

Rachel - so sorry to hear about DH step gramps - its never nice. You take your holiday and take no s*!h from anyone about not going, you deserve some time away

Angel lovely to have you back, no doubt lots to catch up on

Jen - still not talking to me  I would pack you in my suitcase but your be with child and just won't be safe !! Hope you give the DR what for tomorrow, how dare she tell you that you've gone past counselling, I never realised that there was a timeline - what a plonker!!

Carolyn babes, you're very quiet, I hope its because your resting with your feet up. Thinking of you.xx

Off out tonight with the girlies - DH has his friend coming up to stay who apparently is starting tests with his wife as to why they haven't fallen pg so suspect it will be a real heart to heart (mens talk) so best I'm not around. It will be good for DH to have someone to talk to about the m/c as don't think he has spoken to anyone and he doesn't have fab cyber friends like me.

hugs xxx

Nimble - Ok might make an exception and talk to you today

I agree, Nicky out, god i never met anyone who is so grumpy and whats this 'hate men' thing, she wasn't saying that when she was all over Liam. Now he's dumped her she has changed her mind again.
Chanelle's face was a picture eh. Dont think she can believe Charley is not going this week again. I hate Charley and she reminds me of an old yp i use to look after----nasty-----but the place would be boring without her------couldnt bare if she won though.
Ziggy, well he is just a prat. Serves him right that Chanelle is hassling him, he shouldnt have been so greedy for the nicest girl as soon as he went in the house.

Ok off for tea or dh will be complaining i spend more time with you guys than him.

Enjoy your night out----be good

Hi Girls

Shantala- Glad you have got yourself sorted with time off work :D , doesn't sound like you have told them about the tmt. I havent told them in work this time :? , I've been lucky with time off work so far but when it comes to et I am going to have to say something, I have been trying to think of an excusse so I think I will say the same as you "minor gynae" I wont be lying then will I  .

Jen B- Yes only one night for us again, we are flying out first thing on thursday am and flying back friday am. Our appointment isnt untill 4.45pm on thurs so we should have plenty of time to get to the hotel and then the clinic, we know where we are going now so thats half the battle  . We are still hoping to stay a couple of nights when we go back for the et, if all goes to plan.
I am from Pwllheli which is not that far from Aberdaron, I dont live there now but only 1/2 an hour away, Its a small world :D . I am so glad your puppy is better calpol! my dh was laughing when I told him.
Sorry both lots of painters havent arrived for you yet Im sure af wont be long but god only knows when the men will turn up

Becky- Sorry everything seems to be happening at the same time, as if tmt isnt stressful enough :? . I will jigg for af to come early for you.

Jen- Our dr is Dr Redondo she is lovely, we are very happy with her :D .We have decided to use donor sperm, we wont have to do PGD now so that will be £2500 less to find and hopefully now we will have some embies to freeze as it was very unlikely if we had pgd. well a week tomorrow and we will be there again :? , I cant believe it, just hope everything will be ok.
Sorry to hear of your sleepover from hell, enjoy your 4 days off and good luck with your Dr appointment tomorrow.

Jackie- Hope you have a great night out with the girls and that your dh has a good chin wag with his mate it will do you both good x :D

Carolyn- Hope you are ok and that you are resting. Thinking of you x :D

Aunty- Hope you got your bedroom painted the colour you wanted or I think you will be needing sunglasses to go to bed 8) 8) 8)

We have decided to go with sperm donation, as I told Jen, it means a greater chance of success and hopefully of having enough embies to freeze too.

Hope everyone else is ok, take care
Lots of love
Gill xxx
