rachael- sorry to hear that makayla is still fighting the colic... hope it gets better soon... i know it hard or DS was really bad...hope the schedule works.... i think that sometimes they keep giving new things to do, just to try and make you consintrate on somthing else... i hope that you find the trick to your little girl...

ellie- hope you are well and baby will flip.... i'm checking every day to see if any other babies are born.... take care!!! Ilove tomatoes... are are just starting to turn color... can not wait... both my DSs look everyday to see if they are ready!!!

kim- you are always in my thoughts as i deal with one, hope that you figure the feeding out, and they are good to you... how long are you doing the 3 hour thing?? when can they be spaced out a little??

sorry GTO.... gavin screeming... i'll get to the rest of you later... take care all!!!!

Nicola--Not long for you! Yeah! I hope you get lots of rest these last two weeks...although I know it's hard with a growing belly, right? :?

Just wanted to post an update...Ellie and Braeden are now 1 month old! I can't believe it! Although, DH and I feel like they've been here forever, since we don't get much sleep anymore... :(

We had our 1 month checkup yesterday, and both babies are doing great! Ellie is 7lbs. 11 oz. and BRaeden is 7 lbs. 3 oz. I'm still on 3 hour feeds during the day--but only so they can get enough food to sleep more at night. Last night they actually went 4 and 4 1/2 hours between feeds--Yeah! Dr. says with a month or so they should start sleeping through the night! OH, I can dream! I am on an alternating feeding schedule now, so one baby breast feeds while the other one takes a bottle, and then we switch at the next feed. IT's going okay so far!

Hope all's well with you all...I've gotta run. IT's time for another feed.

Hi all! well half of us still hanging in there and the other half dealing with wind, poo, colic, sick, sleepless nights and the fear of foot and mouth! what a lot of catching up I have to do!!! I don't know who is worse off! I will not have time for many personals but I have looked at all the photos and am so pleased you nearly all seem to be doing so well.....

Well Roman - Kennedy is still literally boiling in the bag! I am having a c-section on Wednesday 18th!! 3 more sleeps!!! Due to the PIH I have being so bad, I have been toing and froing the hospital for what seems like an eternity and am just grateful to see an end to it all! I am gutted about the cs but what will be will be, everything happens for a reason! heaven only knows what!! I have spent hundreds on natal hypnotherapy training and massage oils etc for our holistic drug free birth! I haven't even drank bloody caffeine and have spent the last month on blood pressure meds! kinda funny really! We are sooooo excited though......

Oh and has anybody else put on 4 STONE!!!!! I AM IN shock!!

Ellie - We dont have long now! Dont worry about the cs you will be fine, mine gets done under spinal block so cannot empathise with your feelings on being alone, but hey time will pass so quickly you wont even think twice once that little madame is in your arms, look at what we have been through so far! this is a tiny thing spanner in the works, honestly doll you will be just fine! I am thinking of you.....

Well I must be off I have a mental amount to do and catch up on, I will check in real soon! give all those babies a squeeze (not too hard!) from me, and those of you waiting I pray the stretch mark faerie visits you all and swaps them for a pound under your pillow.... stopping via my blinking ouse 1st of course!!

Take care all LOve Angellica xxx

Hey gals!

This thread has been quiet....I guess most of us have been too busy with babies to post. I know I have.

For all you gals ready to deliver good luck. Nicola--don't worry about the section. It's really not that bad. I really wanted to deliver vaginally but that was out of the question since Braeden was breech. It ended up going pretty smoothly. The important thing is to have a safe and healthy delivery. :)

For you mommies out there, I've had a rough spell. I decided to start tandem breast feeding Ellie and BRaeden, and my nipples are paying heavily for it! Both babies have managed to develop some bad latching habits, and they're causing me pain! So, I'm having to go back to the alternating schedule just to give my nips a break. I'm hoping to "retrain" these little suckers on how to latch on, so we can give the tandem feeding another go. However, if I still have this much pain in another week or so, then I'm going to stop bfing. It's too much of a hassle to breast feed one baby and bottle feed the other. Seriously, feeding time is a nightmare!

I hope things are going well for the rest of you. I'm sending happy thoughts your way!

Glad you're all doing well. Bet those babies are eeping you busy.

Nicola- Must be so nice for you to have a date. I'm beginning to worry about when this baby is coming! DH is self-employed and says he is too busy until the 8th Aug! Getting loads of braxton Hicks, can't sleep before midnight and up at 6am as DD is up and bouncing! Just a little worried as last labour was so quick and went for niggles to extreme pain far too quickly.

Angellica- hope all went well and can't wait to hear from you.

Looks like I'm going to be the last one to deliver!

Take care x

I have been MIA this week because my beautiful daughter Isabella was born on Monday 16th July weighing 8lbs (3.57 kg) 50cm long. She is beautiful and so good i can't believe how lucky and blessed we are.
On Monday at 4.30am i had spotting and went up to the hospital. They scanned me and Isabella was lying sideways so they decided to give me a C section at 1.30 in the afternoon. Unfortunatly i has an allergic reaction to the medication and only saw Isabella briefly then had to wait 1 1/2 hours until i saw her or DP but boy what an emotional experience that was. I came out of hospital on Friday. BFing is going well and i have a strong hungry little sucker on my hands.
Hope everyone else is ok will catch up when i get a moment. I will try and psot some pictures
Love Ellie x :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Hi gals...It's been a while. I think it's quiet over here since we're all so busy right now!

Ellie--How are you? How is your little one? I can't wait to hear your story.

Gals, I need advice. I've decided to forgo breastfeeding. This has been a very tough decision for me. I enjoy the concept of breastfeeding, and I know it's great for my kids, but my nipples are just killing me. I've tried everything, and I'm just miserable at feeding time. So, today, I took a break and gave them bottles (and pumped). I was SO much more relaxed today, and I think they were too! Having two babies is exhausting, as I'm sure you can imagine. And the pressure I was putting on myself to breastfeed was starting to take away the pleasure of my two cutie pies. Here's what I'd LIKE to do (at least for the next couple of weeks). I'd like to pump before every feeding and give Ellie and Braeden bottles of breastmilk as often as possible. When I run out of my breast milk, I'll use formula. Will this allow me to keep my milk up? Or, will this cause me to begin drying out? Tasha, I think you did something like this a while back, right? Girls, if you have any advice...I"ll take it! If my milk dries up, then that'll just have to happen. But, I'd like to give the babies my milk as long as possible (without torturing my nips!).

Okay, enough rambling about me. Sorry. It's just been tough lately. Plus, both babies have colds. UGH! How do babies who never leave the house get colds in July?????
