Just had call and levels are going down and not up so to stop taking all drugs tonight apart from steroids were i have to ween off them.

Carolyn sorry this has not been the one for you. Hopefully at your follow up they might come up with some suggestions on why this is happening. sounds like you may need more progestoorone nearer teh end of your 2ww to help.

Tracey how is it going. sorry you had a negative test but they are evil and you need to stay away. Hope things change for you in the next three days.

Hi All

Just to let you all know. Got blood test out the way this morning. Just had call from clinic. She sounded more upset than me. I told her that I already knew. At least I can now stop the drugs and injections. At work so just trying to act normal.

Popped into clinic after bloods taken this morning and have already arranged follow up which is next Friday afternoon. Only a week to wait which is amazing and at least then dh and I can go home for the weekend afterwards and digest. Seeing gp on Monday evening to see if we can get tests done for Barcelona so at least by the end of next week we might have a plan.

Tracey - so hope that there is good news for you tomorrow

Susan - thinking of you and hoping that you have something nice planned for the weekend.

At least it is the weekend.

Well as for me had to go to dr this am i hav e a full body rash agian i had it just after i started the FET it went away but has come back with a vengence. It is driving me nuts all i want to do is itch. given creame pills an dstuff to wash in!!! hope this does the trick. No idea what is causing it.

Susan - a rash. You could really do without that at this time. May be it is a reaction to the meds or coming off the meds. Hope that the cream clear it up for you. You need that like a hole in the head.

Susan - you asked about what next We have had more than 50 eggs collected, 25 embies made and 10 put back across 4 Fresh cycles. 2 short protocol and 2 long protocol. We have had them back on D2, D3 and D6. 2 clinics - Hammersmith (3) and ARGC (1) - neither of which are bad clinics! Tubal surgery. Laparoscopy. Hysteroscopy. Nobody can see anything wrong. Had immunes tested and chromosones for me & dh checked. All ok. All in less than two years. Not getting any younger. Done acu since cycle 1. Since cycle 1 been off the booze, tea, coffee, mainly organic food. With all this, we have never got past D11. Think that I have really lost confidence in my own eggs or for there to be an 'answer' for us other than my eggs (while I can produce lots, low FSH) are just not up to it. If argc cannot point to anything else at all that we could try that is very different then I think it will have to be Barcelona with an ED. My dh was struggling with the concept but now he has seen us throw everything at this last try, he is open to the idea.

I'll let you know after Friday. I have seen you write that you may not cycle again. What are your plans? (if you are not sure or it is too soon then please don't feel like you have to answer).

Tracey - really hope that it is a good strong BFP for you.

Carolyn yes it is all over for us now. Have to make an appiontment with my gyne when i come back from holiday. We have been postponing hav ea hysterectomy which my gyne says i need to give ivf a good chance but after 7 et. 3 of which have implanted but i cant get past 7 weeks. they have found that i have lots of immune issues but hav ebeen on all the drugs for these but still can not keep the embryo. Physically my endo is getting worse and emotionally i cant keep going on fo disappointment so we have decided to go for the hysterectomy. I have known this is coming for a while but just wished that i could have had one child but it is not to be.

I take it you will ask argc what there opionion is on if you need doner eggs. it is just that u seem to make good embryos. Have you also thought of geeting your progesterone checked 1/2 through to check on your levels??? ( me no dr but for you always to bleed at day 11 suggests there is a prob some were).

Let me now how you get on on friday.

Susan - so sorry that it is over for you and you now need to have a hysterectomy. Will you & James consider adoption or are you going to focus on having a wonderful life together.

We will ask argc what they think. It is strange that we cannot get past D11. Have asked Hammersmith repeatedly if the bleed causes the failure and they have been adamant that it is my body just letting me know that the embies did not implant. I have a (rare) auto immune disorder. Looks like there could be some sort of link between the disorder (sarcoidosis) and infertility - it could have damaged all my eggs.

argc would have to suggest something that could make a real difference to persuade us that a 5th Fresh cycle will be different and not just a waste of time and money.

I will let you know what they tell us.

Hi Girls
Sorry about the delay but I am afraid it was a BFN for me too. My clinic only does a HPT so even though it has said no, still no AF. So although I realise there is no HCG, I still have a little bit of hope (crazy - I know). I will speak to them tomorrow. Any idea how long it takes for AF to arrive? i stopped the progesterone when i got the BFN.

My Celtic Handfasting Ceremony and party was last night. It was great fun and I got to enjoy lots of champagne. i havent had the time or inclination to think about the result as I know I will just be really sad. DH and I will take a few days then discuss the next steps for us.

Tracey i am realy sorry hun this has not been a lucky thread. It really is not fair. My AF has still not arrived but it is iminent and i have been off all my meds since wed. But my levels were not at 0 then so i will have to wait for my levels to come right down before i will bleed.

OMG!

You are not going to believe this. My clinic does not do blood tests. I tested as instructed on Sat and got a BFN. Devastated but accepted there was nothing else I could have done. Got up this morning. Had to call the hospital to tell them the result from Sat. Felt a bit strange....2 hpt in the loo. Decided to use them. I AM PREGNANT!!!!!

Cant believe it.

Hospital said a positive is a positive. My scan is on the 15th August.

Now I have to pray all goes well for the next nine months........

Tracey how are feeling?? When is your scan????. We are having our holiday in a couple of weeks and then have our appointment when we come back . Have not got date until after that but am thinking nov unless i hav ea student then it will be dec.

Carolyn how did your follow up go???? How are you?????

I am plodding along. Have best friend down from Edinburgh at the moment for a week so that is helping.

Have not posted much of late and should have been back to update you both.

Tracey - so very sorry to read the rollercoaster that you endured. BFP and then m/c. I am so very sad for you hun. Do you know what you will do next or is it still too soon? Hope that you are taking good care of yourself

Susan - how are you doing? What a hard thing to endure after you have been through already. Hugs. Hope that you are off somewhere nice on hols and you had a good time with your friend from Scotland

So you asked about the follow up. They were very nice and gave us the 'best' explanation that we have had so far. Dh'd swimmers not great - nobody has ever mentioned that before. He is on vitamins, water and off the booze under threat of donor sperm from me!!!! My hormones are all over the place - crazy up and down. They think that if we had another go that they might be able to control a little better. But the nub of the issue is that my eggs are really poor. Murky when they should be clear. Fragmented. And very leaky when they did ICSI. Bottom line of 23 collected, 1 was good and that was not excellent. Could be my auto immune disorder - sarcoidosis - as well as age but we will never know for sure. He said that chances of +ve after 4 rounds where very very small. We both walked out knowing that donor was really the only option now for us. Very sad and hard to get head around but as you will see from my ticker that is the path that we are now travelling. We have had tests done for Barcelona. We have decided to go to IM in Barcelona. We are both quite dark. You'll see from my ticker that our first appointment is 5 weeks on Wednesday. We are all booked to go the day before and have hotel arranged. Just need to get our notes from ARGC. We have requested. They will support us this end with scans etc and then if I were to get a BFP then they'll help me this end too.
