Isabella is sleeping so i thought i would check in.
Angellica i guess Roman is here now i have been thinking of you and hope all is well.
Nicola not long to go now, i bet you cant wait.
Buckeyegal i am not surprised you are exhausted i am finding it difficult trying to BF one. You have given your babies the best start in life by feeding them yourself but you have to take care of yourself to. If you continue to pump i am sure your milk will continue to produce, your babies are lucky to have you as mummy.
Isabella is so good she feeds and then sleeps for 2-3 hours, night time is still hard work to get used to but we are getting there. I am finding really difficult to get her to latch onto the ariola! rather than just the nipple because it is painful. I try to stay calm but worry she is not getting enough milk although i guess she wouldn't sleep so much if she wasn't. She has sticky eyes at the moment, they don't seem to upset her but i have been bathing them in water and then breast milk. I am sure it is common for newborns to get sticky eyes, has anyone else found this? We have to see the midwife on Tuesday and the Paediatrician next week so as long as it doesn't get any worse i will talk to them.
I have posted some pics on photobucket. I changed my ticker but seem to have lost it and can't remember how to get it back.
Well time to go now will check in soon.

I know this thread is pretty quiet now and you are all busy with your babies, but just thought i'd pop in for a quick update.
I had a growth scan today and the size of baby is fine but today they found that there maybe a problem with one of its kidneys. Was a bit shocked as was expecting that news! They say they will scan baby when its a couple of days old and said not to worry......yeah right!.....
Seeing consultant tomorrow to discuss induction. Really would like this all over with now so I can meet my baby and check its all ok.

Hope everyone is doing well. Try and pop in with your news if you get two seconds

Take care

Hello Girls-

I'm so sorry it has been so long since my last post.... things have just been so busy around here. Aubrey is doing great - I can't believe she is already 2 months old. She had her 2 month check-up last Saturday and she is measuring in at 10lbs 12oz & 23 1/2inches.... she's growing very nicely. However, she did develop a case of Thrush (yeast infection in the mouth) - if it's not one thing it's another with her.... I'm going to be a RN before she turns 1!!!!!

Angellica- I hope you & Roman are doing well... can't wait to hear all about it. Check in when you can...

Ellie- congrats on Isabella... she is beautiful!

Nicola- well I'm thinking your little one should be here by now... can't wait to hear all the details.

Jeck- any new updates for you? Any idea as to when Jaden will be coming home?

Kim- how is the pumping/bf'ing going for you? I actually wanted to stop bf'ing so I decreased my pumping... and I actually dried up pretty fast without any pain. Hope things are going well for you...

CasyP- sorry to hear about your news... just what you needed to hear. Well I hope it's nothing serious and hopefully your little one will arrive soon so your mind will be put to rest. Please keep us posted and know that you and your little one are in our thoughts & prayers.

Well I hope all the rest of you are doing well... Racheal, Colleen & Cowgirl - how are the little ones doing?

Well I actually go back to work next week Monday.... yuck! I so wish I could stay home with my little one - this is the stage where she is smiling and cooing and I'm sure I'll miss her tons.

Well hope to hear from you all soon...
Tasha

Hello all, well congrats ellicat, we did it girl! I am so pleased for you.

Roman Kennedy arrived on the 18th as planned, all went well with c-section, dont actually know what all the fuss is about! Roman is very good and we are truly blessed I will get round to posting some pics eventually but have only just managed to get the time to go online! I hope you are all doing well, I have been a bit emotional of late but I am sure it will pass, and the worst thing has been bf it is now getting better as he is growing, oh and he only weighed 51b 11oz! That was not expected as I had put on 4 stone! mostly fluid, thank heavens!

I must sign off now as am mad busy and somebody is stirring! I will check in tomorrow and have a good read up, thanks for all your kind thoughts and wishes, take care all.....

Love Angellica and Roman Kennedy xxx

congrats angellica- awesome to have another boy added to our group!!

well.... casy- it looks like you are it.... hope that it comes soon for you... hang in there about the kidney... just remember that they say there might be problems plenty of time (me there were several) and things turn out just fine... our Gavin is 13lbs and 8oz at 2 months... so he's a BIG healthy boy.. and we had a many worries... hang in there girl!!

we are good... at 2 months Gavin is 13lbs and 8oz.. and 23 1/2 inches... so he's a BIG BIG boy... i love chubby babies... they were surprised that a BF baby is so big.... must have good BB milk... it's really sad, but i miss being pregnant... call me crazy, or it's still the hormones... i could try for another today... but DH says no way.... we'll see if i can turn him around... he says that 3 boys is enough!!!

well, take care all... we'll soon see you all on the otherside

Good to hear from some of you.

Tasha-glad to hear all is well with Aubrey and she growing well. Were did the last 2 months go!

Angellica- Congrats on the birth of Roman. Glad things went well and your settling into motherhood. Take care and check in soon.

Colleen- Wow Gavin is a big boy. I agree tho babies should be lovely chubby healthy things. They are so cute and soon even out.

Saw consultant Weds and they are obviously not worried as they don't even want to induce me at term now. So just gotta wait and hope I don't go too far overdue. Got a wedding tomorrow and Dads Birthday Sat, then I will be doing everything possible to get this baby moving!!

Speak soon x

Casey glad to hear that all seems well with you and baby. I guess the fact that they dont want to induce you is really positive, When is you due date? I am looking forward to hearing your news. It must feel like we have all abandoned you, but we haven't i know i find it difficult to check in at the moment, but i will try and do it more often. Have a good weekend you sound busy.
Angellica :D :D :D CONGRATULATIONS :D :D :D on the birth of Roman. we nearly made the same date. I can't wait to see a picture of him when you have time to post. Its amazing how quickly the days seem to fly by.
Colleen Gavin sounds like he is doing really well, what a big boy. We went for Isabellas first weigh in yesterday and she is now 3. 8 kg and 53cm in length. BFing is going well but i do wonder if she is getting enough although she is putting on weight and is getting little chubby rolls on her legs (so cute) so i guess she is fine. I have been told to drink more fluids to increase my supply of milk because it is so hot. If i express will this help increase my supply?
I have a question for those who have had csections. How long have you been told to wait before doing abdominal excersises? I have been told 6-8 months this seems like a long time, although my belly has shrunk and i can fit in some pre pregnancy clothes it is very wobbly and waiting that long will be difficult.
Tasha i can't believe you are going back to work next week you poor thing. I bet the time has gone so fast it only seems like a short while ago everyone was finishing work. I am sure Aubrey will be fine in the day and will save all her cuddles and smiles up for you when you come home each day.
Hope everyone else is doing ok

Angellica- Roman is adorable... what a cutie.

Well today is my first day back at work.... yuck. I so miss my little Aubrey and can't wait to get home and give her hugs & kisses. I did call the babysitter (my best friend's Mom) and Aubrey hasn't slept for her at all - that was at 12:00pm. I'm hoping it's just because the house is new to her and she needs to get adjusted. We'll see how the rest of the week goes.... I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Well have any of you joined the over side yet?

Chat w/ you soon,
Tasha

hi girls... hope all is well...

Gavin slept in his bed for the first time last night.. he still woke a few times, but that is his norm... he's been in the bassinet up untill then, and we were still working on the boys rooms... he's just getting too big for the bassinet... i would love to keep him in there till he is sleeping through the night, but it doesn't seem to be in our cards... he's starting to roll more and i'm afraid in the bassinet, although we use the sleep positioner...

tasha- hope that you have plenty of photos to look at through out the day, and hope that aubrey adjusts quickly... we'll have to make a spot for us on the parent side of this... i can not beleive how fast thisis going by.. it seems, for me, it goes by faster each additional baby...so enjoy it while you can!!!

casy- when are you going to have this little baby?? i forgot when your due date was.... hopfully not too long away!!

Hi Colleen- well I have put all my pictures up in my office.... about 10 of them so far! I just love looking at her. I also called the sitter this afternoon and she was doing much better today... she thinks her bottles were causing her gas so we switched them last night and so far so good. I had her on the Playtex Drop In's, but now we switched to Gerber ones..... we'll see how it goes.

Well if I have time I'll try and start a thread on the Parent After Treatment Side for us... it would be nice to stay in touch with everyone... after all if it wasn't for you girls I don't think I could have made it through my pregnancy! :o

Hi gals....

We've been out of town so couldn't check in.....boy, try traveling with twins....that's quite a feat!

Tasha---sorry to hear you're back at work. I feel for you. I'm dreading the fact that I go back to work in 3 weeks. Although I"ll only be teaching in the afternoons. I think I might try to get a 2 or 3 week extension. We'll see....

Ellie and Angelica--CONGRATS!!!!!!! Yeah! I hope BFing is going well for you gals. I'm almost done weaning Ellie and Braeden. My nips just couldn't take it. I have to admit, the bottles have made my life easier.

By the way, Tasha...have you tried Dr. Brown's bottles? They're not drop ins, but they have helped Ellie with her gas and spit up.

colleen--Oh my, Gavin is a BIG kid! I know my two are small since they were preterm twins, but Geez......My kiddos are about 9 and 9 1/2 pounds at almost 8 weeks. I can't imagine having a 2 month old that size. YOu must have arms of steel!

Now, what's this with moving threads? Please let me know where to go....I have a hard enough time getting onto this one! :-)

How are the rest of you gals?

Hi Kim-

I tried emailing you to your personal email address.... did you get it? Pam had sent me a picture of the twins (when they were born) so that's how I got it. Hope you don't mind....

Well glad to hear things are going well for you and the twins... were did you go on your trip?

Ok here's the details on the new thread... instead of going to "Pregnant After Treatment" go to "Parent After Treatment"! I posted a thread called Summer 07' Baby's - or something like that.

Hope to see you there...

Tasha--Whoops...I might have deleted it! I'll check my trash box and see if it's in there....my e-mail account deletes unknown addresses. I'll try to find the new thread! Hope to see you all there!
