Shantala - we must have posted similar times as did not see the cell info when I last posted. Sounds like they are all dividing very nicely. Sorry that dh has gone off and left you. We are all here cheering you on. So hope that it goes well and you have two perfect embies back home very soon. Take it easy over the weekend. Lots of dvds and relaxing for you. Hope that may be you have some snow babies too. Will think of you today

Jen1d - I am sorry that you are having a mare. If they are relaxed them I am sure that it is ok. The pills will have messed you up as Gill says. If you are bleeding then that is AF. So excited that you have dates now and they are really not very far away. You are so close hun. Just hang on for a few more days. Big hugs. Here if you need me

Beckster - sounds like different clinics use the fsh for different things. My last place would not start you on tmt if fsh was too high so girls used to go early rather than later  If you have not started today and D1 id either Saturday or Sunday then you will be able to go Monday and all should be alright. Hope so. Will keep jigging for you. Hope that you and your daughter had a great birthday yesterday. How nice that they are the same day

Gill - so pleased that all the test results are in and all is ok. That is so reassuring. Not far behind Jen1d now

Rachel - loved the green bear for Shantala that was so cute

No more. Sorry. Run out of time. Need to go and shower and do hair and make up as we need to leave by about 11.30am as need to get to Brighton area by 2.30pm as starts at about 3pm. Nails look good - thanks ladies. Traffic dreadful and got there with about 2 seconds to spare but worth it. Did food shop afterwards with dh so really nicely set up for a 3 day weekend.

Have a great weekend all. Shantala - so hope it all goes well today. Are you going on your own for ET? Brave lady. Thinking of you.

Love to you all.
Carolyn

 Hi

Shantala - Good luck for today babe, will be thinking of you. Am at work later but will try to sneak a peek at the thread to see how you got on---------2ww here we come

Carolyn - How you been feeling lately? Thanks for all your help and advice, your a star. How was the opera lol

Gill - Thanks for your reassurance and you were right, its the medi making af go all over the place. It really difficult though as i wanted to ge tit right and felt scared i would apply the patches on the wrong day and muck everything up---oh well its fine now. Glad everything is fine with you and your more realxed about your cycle, not long now eh. Enjoy the sun---its hiding here again

JenB - How you doing? Think i will have to pop up to your house and have some counselling, your way more knowledgeable than my counsellor---smarty pants

Rachel - Your bear was lovely and brought a smile

Becky - Your a bit quiet, are the birthday celebrations still going on or are you in recovery  AF chant is still going on for you, that ***** will be here soon i hope as my legs hurt with all the jigging.

Aunty - Thanks for your help with my ticker. You made it sound easy and i did exactly as you said (a trillion times) but still only words :x Dont worry i wll enjoy looking at yours, think it must be something in the settings on the computer :?:

Dont know whats in those bloody patches but i was up most of the night with a headache from hell and its still here. Was meant to study this morning but my head is bumping
Anyway finally we have things sorted. IM emailed and confirmed what we all thought, that the medi does affect af and they say as long as i am bleeding, even if its a little then its fine. Booked the scan this morning for the 15th at 11am so we are still on track

Ok away to have a lie down and try to get this head sorted out before work at 2.30. Hope it goes or i just might have to throttle the kids if they speak or make a noise

Love to you all

Hi all

SHANTALA- Best of luck with ET today..soon those embies will be snuggiling in at home :D ...It's a shame you can't go away withDH but you have a more important job to do...Much love to ya hun x xx can't wait to hear how things go today x x x

BECKSTER- Busy working eh!!!! at least it's friday and you can chill soon. Hope you had a good birthdy yesterday and family looked after you well. Are you going out to celebrate at weekend? xx Jigging for that ***** of an AF to come and visit x x

LARA/AUNTY- am loving you BIG posts xx lovely x x

1st LADY JEN- what a trail and tribulation you have been having with AF. Ant flow more than spotting is deffo in my book an AF. so i am sure you will be ok. Also i had a worry that lining might be too thick, and Dr Monica @ IM said this in her working history has NEVER happened. So i think you will be in the all clear. Gill is right the meds do mess up AF but the patches will take over and build a good lining for embies. Not long hun until you are at ET...are you getting acu here too???

GILL- you sound on the up mood wise hun. Good to hear your doing ok. Are you excited about stopping pills and getting on next stage of tmt????
Are you getting acu here too???

A BIG hi and much love to everyone else x x

I am stll struggiling with sicky feeling. Stopped being sick yesterday, deffo think it wass a viral bug thing. Both DH and i felt sick asince monday but strange i wasn't sick until wed night??? Anyway we think we caught it on the plane. I am just feeling sicky and weak today and wee won't be going awy this weekend. Don't have the energy.
Have missed my last cranial sarcral therapy this week as i start back to acu next week. Found a good fertility acu near here ( such a surprise) and start next week. Also missed getting my hair cut and coloured this week too but hey feel so crap that i don't care if some darker roots are showing through.
On positive note my on off bleeding has been kicked into touch by my Gp progesterone pills. take them until day 26 then hope AF arrives within 3 days. The i will be starting tmt wo hoooooooooo.

love to ya all have a good weekend

love jen

Hello ladies,

Happy birthday becky. Hope you had a fabulous day. Did AF arrive in time for your birthday?

Shantala………..praying hard for you. How did the transfer do today. Hope you are taking it easy and giving yourself complete rest. And ignore your neighbour while you are letting your embies grow.

Carolyn, how are things with you? Hopefully things with barcelona are proceeding well. Have a fantastic time today. Sure you look absolutely amazing.

Aunty…….I was so touched that you even thought about the possibility of considering your husband as a donor.

Jen babes.......hope you feel better soon. at least you can look forward to tmt.

Jen....sorry the patch is making you feel crap. But looks like you are still on track. Would really like some advise on IM if possible. How many days did you have to spend there and is your gp monitoring you here? Can your GP help you on nhs with all the scans and stuff or do you have to use your private clinic?

Gill you sound so optimistic. Good thing you are spreading around some much needed cheering!

Oh Lara.....your sun burn sounds painful.

We have started enquiring with clinics in Spain. I have already got responses from IM. The costs sounds quite high, in fact much more than those if we went private here. Also enquired at Eugin. Anyone heard about it?

Still feeling so low. It appears that everyone we see a ray of hope something totally shatters it and we're in darkness again. Maybe I should even stop dreaming. I can't help but cry. I've got red swollen eyes and a red nose. Haven't been able to sleep. My work mates probably think its hay fever. I've become so snappy. And of all the months in the year, my friend gave birth to a baby, DH's friend's wife is about to deliver any time now and yet another couple announced their prgnancy. To top it all someone we haven't heard from in ages calls yesterday to invite us to his baby's 1 birthday next month. And when I go for my lunch time walk, all young mothers are out with their little ones in prams or are pregnant (and complaining about how uncomfortable it gets in summer).

Well IM just emailed again and said i can take paracetamol :D My headache is still thobbing but they said its due to the patches and my body will get use to them soon.

Angel - Ask as many questions as you like, am glad to help. Are you planning to go there? If so i have loads of info so just ask if you need it. Have you checked out there web page?
You only have to visit twice for the whole cycle, once for the initial appointment which takes about 1-2 hours, this just involves chatting, consents and a mock ET so they know what cathiter to use on the day. I only have to have one scan and thats next week just before ET so they can decide if the lining is thick enough for ET. My local hospital where i did my other cycles have agreed to do this (£45) but i suppose everywhere is different. My Dr did all the tests prior to us going to IM as you need to have all these up to date, such as aids, clamydia, blood group etc and this was free but again some places make you charge.
The second and final appointment is for ET. Some of the other girls had to fly over for one extra visit in between but this depends on your circumstances and what issues you have with infertility and whether they need to check you out further before ET but generally there are only 2 appointments.
Hope thats helped, fire away if you need to know anything else.

Shantala - NEWS PLEASE. Hope your ok x
