Rachel - Oh poor thing, cant relate to headaches. I only had one when i put the patches on but its stayed for nearly 24hrs. I have to change it tonight and am dreading it just incase another one arrives. Hope you feel better soon.

Gill - The accu lady has not returned my second email but did reply quickly to the first. Feel better knowing you are not having accu just now and will only have before and after ET. Carolyn swears by it so we will listen to her---she can be bossy so i'm doing what i'm told lol

Carolyn - Oh hi, didnt know you were logged on lol. Only joking about the bossy bit, you have been fab helping me. Hope your feeling ok?

Had a quiet shift last night, took yp to the cinema, good shift. Am due home for about 3.30 and will be having a pj evening (Becky ) as it pouring ---yet again Then the patches will be slapped on the old butt at 7.30.
So the next drama that lovely man upstairs has set for me is that the hotel we used last time seems to be fully booked. Just seems to be one prob after another, him upstairs must hate me. Anyway on the Easyjet hotel site they recommend other hotels close and one looks ok, plus its £30 cheaper so will probably go with that one. Would have just been easier to go to the one we know but anyway, gives us another adventure.

Ok better get back to work, hope you all having a good weekend.

Aunty - what a nightmare going on in the Becky-baby room!!! Sounds like the best thing to do is to close the door and forget all about it. We have not done up the spare room as waiting - waiting to see whether we should/could make a nursery. Now given up as sick of looking at it and are just going to do it in September. Will do it pale lemon and then would work for a boy - a girl or as a guest room. I could not deal with that heat either. 70 is lovely but much above that and I get tired and testy!!!

Jayne - Hope that your appointment went well last Thursday and that you have had a lovely weekend in the Lakes. let us know about the appointment when you are back

Rachel - down 2 sizes. That is awesome. Hope that headche passes and you have good time at Wookey Hole with the BIL

Never been to one and clearly I have missed out big time Sorry that AF is messing you around and you have to shift back by 1 month. At least then you will not be stressing about the dates and the wedding but sure that you are really chewed off about it right now

Jen1d - I may stop speaking to you if you carry on like this!!! I am not posh. The people that took us are very posh!!!!! How many times do I have to be bossy and tell you that it is the acu on the day that has the biggest impact on the success results. You knew that I was going to say that so not even sure why you asked babe Hope that new patches do not hurt your head again. Cannot believe how close it all is for you now. Touching distance. You will be PUPO before we know it. No talk of test day yet. 1 day at a time and as you well know I have NEVER ever got there. Hope that work/study not too bad for you. You need to be looking after you right now and getting nice and calm ready to have the embies back home

Not much news my end. Been keeping Amazon in business by buying lots of books about egg donation. Reading/reaserach appear to be the best way for me to deal with things. Happy to mail onto any of the other Big B ladies if any good. Just let me know if you are interested.

So we have checked out the hotels in Bg B from the fab map we got from our visit last time as it shows all the hotels on it. Anyway we have found a nicer one and its right on the clinic doorstep plus you can sit outside in the sun, i would prefer that than being stuck in the hotel room after ET. JenB- I dont think I will be on the same 2ww as Jen, maybe I'll just get in at the end of her 2ww . I just cant quite believe how quick its all going Thanks for asking the biopsy came back normal which was a big relief and weight off my shoulders. Sorry to hear you are still not 100%, hope you get better really soon. xxx

Carolyn- Sorry, ok your not a posh bird (maybe just a little) I hope the acu lady is just away for the weekend and she will get back to me this week. I have kind of set my heart on it now it, especially with it increasing the chances of a bfp so much.Hope the books are good, if any stand out will you let me know and I'll order too. I havent done much reaserch up till now, I've been waiting to see if we get a bfp and if we do, watch out amazon!!!

Hi ladies,

have just got back and wanted to update you all, so apologies about it being all about me but will catch up with you all soon.

Saw my consultant and they have found i have a clotting problem!! forgot the name but said it's factor 5, and only effects one of the two genes. Easily controlled with a junior aspirin from day of transfer up to the 34th week if pregnant. was also told never to be on the pill (i was on it for 17 years, no problem), also if i go on long haul flights need to take the aspirin as am more susceptible to thrombosis (great 16 years ago went around the world)feel lucky that they found this as i could have had a problem in the future, at least i know of the danger now.

I am free to start on my next AF, although he was concerned at my extra weight, and advised me to lose some before i go again, he said as long as my BMI was under 30 i was ok, i said it was, he looked at me as if i was lying my DH was furiuos, we have since worked it out and my BMI is 27.5. My aF arrived this morning, but we have decided to delay a month so i can lose some weight and also get ourselves organised, we need to be 100% ready as we will be defrosting the last of our frosties.

On a positive note he did comment that i responded very well and that the quality of my embies were very good, and the fact i have managed to get a positive is also in my favour to get a good result next time.

Had a great bweekend, am enjoying a couple of glasses of wine , my last for the forseeable future, will catch upo soon take care ladies.

So glad that your appointment went well Its good they found out about your clotting problem. I think you are definitely doing the right thing in getting yourself organised before you start tmt. I could have done with losing weight before tmt, but too late now , just hope it doesnt make too much of a difference . Glad you had a great time in the lakes.

Hi ladies,
I had my embryo transfer today at 12:00. They transferred six really good embryos (5 @ 8 cells and 1 @ 5 cells) It doesn't look like we'll have any frosties though, which I eally didn't expect. I had six transferred the last time and got pregnant with one so that is what we are hoping for. So now I am officially on the dreaded 2WW!!!!!!!!!!!! This cycle has seemed to go by really fast but the next 12 days won't I'm sure.

Shantala how are the days going???

Gonna have to wait this cycle out now. Got what I think was the positive pee sticks CD 21 making sense b/c temp rose day 23. That meant a 35 day cycle this month (1st of birth control)....wellllll CD 28 and I got AF on Saturday!!! That means a really short luteal phase if all was correct (now I had a temp dip on day 14 but no positive pee stick and then temps continued in the same range as before). So she wants me to wait this cycle out as well sooo bummed. That means I will only have 2 chances (I HOPE) left before I want to hiatus til next June/July cuz that is when I am able to get out of my current hell, um job.

Pequele - Just seems to be one disappointment after another for us girls. Try to stay positive. Whats the job from hell?

Nannybear - 6 EMBIES wow, cant believe you are allowed so many put back in. I think we should be allowed to in this country aswell, its our bodies, our embies, so we should be able to choose right?

Jen - Do you mean i have found a hotel? If so then its the Husa Arenas 4*, its on the doorstel at IM and looks much posher---Carolyn will like this one better i'm sure We are going to book it through Easyjet hotels website as its cheaper than doing it direct with the hotel.

Gill -Do you think being a stone or 2 overweight makes a difference. I am fretting about it as i've put on weight since my first ivf. Ok i'm not huge but i feel it everywhere and its making me so fed up. Dh keeps reminding me about all the obese, druggies, teenagers etc who get preggers and they dont even look after themselves, suppose he is right.
Accu - we are going to go for it but need to email her again as she is rubbering me

Jayne - Sorry to hear about your probs with the clotting but good news about the embie quality. Dont know if i missed it but how many cycles have you done in the past?

Ok, am off to organise some tea. We have our counselling tomorrow then scan on Wed. We changed the time form 11am to 9am, then we can get home, email IM and find out all the info about EC and ET. Cant believe its nearly here, just feels so strange.
We organised the money today for the clinic, will have to take a letter with us for the flight or they will think we have robbed the nearest bank
