I know a lot of you have moved threads now, but just to post the news that.....................
Joshus William entered the world on Weds 8th Aug at 7.40 am after an 8 1/2 hour labour.

Went into labour naturally on Tues eve, went into hospital at 1.30am 5 cms dilated, coped really well time 5am when I was 8cms dilated but just couldn't get passed 9 cms. I got exhausted and Joshua was distressed and all got a bit hairy, but then he made an appearence as they were about to intervene!

He's been a bit of a pickle so far and seems to take after his sister, good feeder poor sleeper. His longest stretch of sleep so far is 2 1/2 hours!

Will check in soon and hopefully move to other thread with you all

CONGRATULATIONS CASEY. Good to hear you have finally made it.

Look forward to seeing photos of Joshua William soon. Hope you are managing to get a little sleep.

Casey P--YEAH and Congrats!!!!! I'm glad Joshua has made it to the other side! I hope you are feeling well. Can't wait to see photos.

Does this mean we've all delivered? I can't keep track anymore...is anyone else still PG out there?

Hi Ladies,hope you and your babies are all well...xx

Well as you know my section was booked for July 30th,but my baby had other ideas!! At home on Monday 23rd and at about 11.30pm, i thought id wet the bed

,with not having broken waters before i didnt know what to expect or what it was!! Anyway got up to go to the toilet,still wasnt sure so woke Derek and me and him were staring at the damp patch trying to figure was it urine or my waters

,got up to go get a towel and on my landing floor the water was just running down my leg!!Called hospital who sais def sounded like my waters so come in and take my hospital bag with me as it sounded like i'd need a section that nite,we got up there at 12.45am and by 1.30am we knew we were heading for the theatre asap,my contraction were every 4-5mins and quite painful,problem was there was already someone in theatre for a section,so we had to wait.

By this timei was really quite scared at what was about to happen.At 3.52am our gorgeous son entered this world to make us the happiest proudest parents on earth.We named him Jack Derek Daniel,he weighed 6 lbs and 10oz. We had to stay in hospital for 6 days as he had a touch of jaundice.We are home and all is well (well almost!!) i've pulled the ligaments in my pelvis so am on strict rest,which is nearly impossible with a little one. As much as i love Derek and happy as we were i feel like he completes us,if you know what i mean.

Anyway take care all of you and i'll post soon.I wouldnt have survived these last months without you all..Much Love..Nicola..xx

Hi Nicola- well I'm glad to hear that everything went well for you, Derek & baby Jack. However, I'm sorry to hear that you have torn your ligaments in your pelvis... take care.

I also know what you mean about Jack completing you... Aubrey has done the same for us. I loved my husband before she was here, but now I love him & her so much more.

Praise God!!!!!!! I am so thrilled for you and hubby!!!! congrats on baby Jack!!!! Thanks for naming him after me Jeck/Jack is pretty close!!! LOL!!!

I know exactly what you mean by saying he completes you both!!! Our family will not be whole till Jaden comes home!!

AWW Thanks Tasha!!! I am hoping and praying that he will be get the final signature from the Guatemalan Gov't by the end of next week!!! It will still be 4-6 weeks after that when he will be home but that is a predictable process more so than the phase he is in now!! Very confusing I know.... Once we get the final signature, our attorney will pick up our paper work get his birth certificate submitted with us listed as parents

, then he will get his passport

then all this will be submitted to our US Embassy in Guatemala for them to issue us an appointment to go pick him up and them to issue his visa to come home!!! WooHoooo!!!

So please pray that we get that final signature so that we can get on with it!!!!

I guess I am the "last" one waiting on their baby!!!!

Well, Guess What???????????????

The waiting is almost over!!!!!! Jaden WILL be coming home soon!!!!!!!

Praise God!!!!!!!!!!

There is several things that they have to gather before we have our appointment with the US Embassy in Guatemala these can take 6-8 weeks but he will be coming home!!!!!!!!!
