Hi Everyone,
I had to go into the office today so I couldn't check out the MB until I got home.
Stressball/Sanya -I'm so very, very sorry for the Bad News you got. I've been exactly there where you are 3 times now and I think getting the BFN call is just something time makes a little easier but not really less painful. I was afraid that you had bad news when you didn't post last time. Please know you're in my thoughts.
Vlada & Cocoa -please keep us updated with latest hcg levels! Vlada I hope you got great news today.
KellyM - I'm also thinking a lot about you and still hoping you're wrong & get a BFP.
I'm taking another HPT in the am. I'm hoping of course to see a darker line. Even so, it's hard to describe but just seeing a (+) one time has really given me hope. Even if this time doesn't work out, I now know that those little embies CAN implant, even for a short while. I was really starting to doubt. If this time doesn't work out, we can do another fresh cycle & hopefully get better quality embies.
As far as testing, my 1st IVF & FET I had standard testing & declared perfectly healthy other than a little hypothyroid. At the new clinic, they found I had tons of cobwebby looking scar tissue in my uterus that the 1st clinic (UNC Hospitals) either incompetently missed or incompetently caused. So I switched clinics & had the hysteroscopy with lysis of adhesions, & another follow one in the office -no anesthesia, ouch! My thyroid levels were constantly normal & no other problems so we proceeded with another fresh IVF. After that BFN, they tested me for clotting disorders, all kinds of antibodies for autoimmune, did another endometrial biospy to test for hidden infection or inflammation. My DH sperm had already been tested for all kinds of things, including the DNA stuff -just low #, mishaped & can't swim. The only thing that they found was that although my thyroid was in normal range, my antithyroid antibodies were "very high". So I started taking dexamethasone at the start of the cycle & continue to take one everyday. That's in addition to the steroid you take right before transfer. And I started with acupuncture per MD advice.
I'm convinced that the biggest change was being more relaxed during the actual transfer. During all the previous 3, I got such a nervous stomach before hand that I had a hard time lying still because of diarrhea -sorry TMI. This time with the accu & was so relaxed that I could of gone to sleep. I also did more yoga, more deep breathing, & a little aromatherapy in the weeks before hand.
Well, I guess I've been pretty long-winded. Sanya, if you dont get a good feeling about the MD you're currently going to, I wouldn't hesitate to find another one. I'm glad I did.
Best of luck to all
