Hi Everyone,
I had to go into the office today so I couldn't check out the MB until I got home.
Stressball/Sanya -I'm so very, very sorry for the Bad News you got. I've been exactly there where you are 3 times now and I think getting the BFN call is just something time makes a little easier but not really less painful. I was afraid that you had bad news when you didn't post last time. Please know you're in my thoughts.
Vlada & Cocoa -please keep us updated with latest hcg levels! Vlada I hope you got great news today.
KellyM - I'm also thinking a lot about you and still hoping you're wrong & get a BFP.

I'm taking another HPT in the am. I'm hoping of course to see a darker line. Even so, it's hard to describe but just seeing a (+) one time has really given me hope. Even if this time doesn't work out, I now know that those little embies CAN implant, even for a short while. I was really starting to doubt. If this time doesn't work out, we can do another fresh cycle & hopefully get better quality embies.
As far as testing, my 1st IVF & FET I had standard testing & declared perfectly healthy other than a little hypothyroid. At the new clinic, they found I had tons of cobwebby looking scar tissue in my uterus that the 1st clinic (UNC Hospitals) either incompetently missed or incompetently caused. So I switched clinics & had the hysteroscopy with lysis of adhesions, & another follow one in the office -no anesthesia, ouch! My thyroid levels were constantly normal & no other problems so we proceeded with another fresh IVF. After that BFN, they tested me for clotting disorders, all kinds of antibodies for autoimmune, did another endometrial biospy to test for hidden infection or inflammation. My DH sperm had already been tested for all kinds of things, including the DNA stuff -just low #, mishaped & can't swim. The only thing that they found was that although my thyroid was in normal range, my antithyroid antibodies were "very high". So I started taking dexamethasone at the start of the cycle & continue to take one everyday. That's in addition to the steroid you take right before transfer. And I started with acupuncture per MD advice.
I'm convinced that the biggest change was being more relaxed during the actual transfer. During all the previous 3, I got such a nervous stomach before hand that I had a hard time lying still because of diarrhea -sorry TMI. This time with the accu & was so relaxed that I could of gone to sleep. I also did more yoga, more deep breathing, & a little aromatherapy in the weeks before hand.
Well, I guess I've been pretty long-winded. Sanya, if you dont get a good feeling about the MD you're currently going to, I wouldn't hesitate to find another one. I'm glad I did.
Best of luck to all

Hi all,
My beta today was 561, which it should have been at least 340, and it is more than that so that is good, my progesterone was at 32 which is good too, but my estogen was low, it was 471 on Friday and went all the way down to 220 today, i am a little bit worried, but i changed my esrtogen patches right before my blood draw, so may be they have not start working by then yet. My doc is not increasing my estrogen patches, which makes me a little bit nervous, but i have another beta test on wednesday, so i guess we will see. My first ultrasound is Sep 5th.

Vlada! How exciting! Those numbers are great...your doctors will keep an eye on your levels...it's great you're getting another draw on Wed.
When I tested positive on the 17th, I added 3 prometrium "inserts" (ha ha) each day, in addition to the 2cc's of Progesterone...

OK, today, I got my 3rd blood draw: The note from my nurse:
"Good job – HCG 16244, Estradiol 3288 (Estrogen), Progesterone 105. You are one raging hormone!!!!"

She is NOT KIDDING...after my U/S we'll keep testing the levels and she'll start tapering me off the meds.

16,244. I need to go back and read what Cocoa's HCG level was on her 3rd draw...it definitely looks like twins here...

OK...best to you all. Vlada, keep up the great work!

It's fun, we'll all have our U/S around the same time...Mine is Sept 4.

Thank you woodcliff,
I am kinda nervous about esrogen, but beta was good, so that makes feel a little better.I think my breasts are a little bit bigger, i made my husband inspect them ( which he was soooo happy to do  ) but he doesn't think so, but i think they a little fuller. Last night i had some pulling crampy feeling in the lower abdomen again , i couldn't even sleep, that is how uncomfortable it was. Other than that i am doing fine, still don't really feel pregnant, my be after first US :D

WHAAAAWHOOOO Vlada!!! You go girl!!!! You are doing GREAT!!!! Looks solid...

2ndtimer... you are right on and did all the right things... I am sure you got a sticky one!!!!

OK WC... SIXTEEN THOUSAND!?!??!?! Who are YOU trying to outdo?!?!? :D :D My 3rd draw (you are 5 days ahead of me) was 4636 so in another 5 days... let's see... it should be at least 27,000 right? but I go in AGAIN on TH so it should be at least 10,000 then still three whole days before I would reach your dpt with your 16,000. Am I making sense??? My u/s is being scheduled for LABOR DAY!!! Yikes.... that's the only labor I want connected to this baby until APRIL...

I told a couple of very close friends today and they are praying for me for which I am very grateful...

You know what's on Discovery Investigation RIGHT NOW??? The stories about moms who kill their kids (i.e. Susan Smith). Sorry if that offends anyone but I am just saying that I cannot believe a mother could do that!!!

I have to start back to work tomorrow so I will be in touch tomorrow...

I love you all...

Congrats Vlada, you must be feeling pretty good about things. I wouldn't give the estrogen level another thought or worry if I were you. It sounds like your MD is keeping an eye on it & if the patches arent' enough then they can also order delestrogen IM which is what I'm on. Not much fun, but the shot is only .4cc & I can inject into my thigh pretty painlessly.
WoodCliff & Cocoa -how many embies did you guys get transferred?

Wow! Cocoa...good luck tomorrow...what a relief to finally tell some friends...I'm excited for you! And I wish you NO NAUSEA tomorrow, and no exhaustion...does your boss know?

Just Don't overdue it ... I have made the mistake lately of taking No Naps, and it is what leads to a tad of nausea...so it's napping for me tomorrow.

My husband seriously looked at me tonight and wondered if one of the eggs had split (I had joked to him it could happen...er, me and my damn Irish joking, it ALWAYS comes back to haunt me...you'd think I'd learn!)...
Oh gosh, what indeed if I am carrying 3?

I felt very lonely and scared tonight...a passing thing, but it was pretty sharp. It's getting more "real" ...

Anyone else get scared from time to time?

Vlada! You'll be great...Like 2nd timer, I'm also on the del estrogen twice a week...it's STRONG...I do that, estradiol inserts 2 xs a day, Vivelle patches (4 every other day)...for the estrogen (I feel I'm missing something but oh well!).
There's a lot they can do to jump up the estrogen, and I'm sure they're keeping their eyes on you!

2timer: I had 2 5-day blastocysts, which were already hatching...my husband seriously wondered if the 'hatching' meant they could also split :? :?
Oh gosh.
Hope I didn't forget anyone.

I took another HPT this morning, 1st am pee & it was negative. Now I hate them again. They are evil. What do you guys think? Is there still hope.

2ndtimer,
There are too many postings on this site where people have taken hpt the morning of their betas and they were negative but they were in deed pregnant. I would read nothing into the results you got this morning.

It is torture having to wait the full two weeks from transfer date when other clinics have their tests 2 weeks post ER or the equivalent in a FET. You and I both have to wait eons!!!!
Bset of luck, forget you even took that hpt this morning.

Vlada,
I am so happy to hear that your betas have more than quadrupled!!! Can't wait to hear what your ultrasound shows next week!

Sanya, hope you are doing okay! I am thinking of you.

Nothing new with me. Cramps again today but no AF which I suspect will come on Thursday or Friday this week - unless????

Thanks Kelly,
I needed to hear that. Taking that stupid test this am really let all the air out of my balloon. I wish I hadn't done it. Now I'm completely down in the dumps & trying to prepare myself to hear bad news on Friday. This must be what it feels like to be bipolar.

Thank you guys for your support!!!
2ndtimer, i would try 2nd morning urine, because my tests were all very faint with 1rst urine and much darker with second. I wish you a strong BFP on friday!!!
Vlada :D
PS I go for my third beta tomorrow and today i have a horrible swollen joint on my lower back, it looks like a huge lump, i went to accupuncturinst and it helped a little bit with the pain , but not the swelling :(
