Hello girls! Hope everyone is doing well :) I just got a call from RE office and I have to up my PIO dosage. Also found out that my beta is next Wednesday, 9/5 :D :D :D Not quiet a 2WW since my xfer was Saturday. YEAH!!! :D

ICSI - I am so sorry to hear about your BFN :( I can only imagine how you feel. I know I was very upset and emotional when I received my 3 BFNs last year with IUIs. IVF is so much more invasive...and can really take a toll on us. I wish you the best and don't be too discouraged and just know that your day will come for that BFP! Just keep your head up, but know that it will take some time to heal. Lots of hugs!

Julie - I agree with Ali...don't get discouraged. I actually started with 15 embryos and ended with only 3 b/c of egg quality so I somewhat know how you feel. I have my moments of negativity but then I remember these 3 made it to day 5 for xfer. As long as we have atleast 1 strong little fighter, there's hope :)

Good Luck to us all going thru the 2WW and hope it goes by quick :P

Angie-Im thinkin of you at this very emotional time-i am sure you're pretty irritated, hurt, annoyed, etc....sucks that something like this can have so many negative emotions on us. Try to stay positive and let us know what you're next plan of attack is! HUGS!!!

I know it is kind of late to jump in on this thread but I have been watching it for a couple of weeks now. I started my Lupron injections on 8/18/07 and just went in for my first blood work and ultrasound today. I am not sure what all the number mean though. But the one number I did understand was my baseline follicle count...I had 9 on one side and 7 on the other.....is this normal since I don't start stims until Friday????

Thanks Cocoa! My beta is 9/5 but I think I wanna take HPT this coming Saturday. Did you POAS? If so, how many dpt?

Welcome Lindsey...you're #s sound good to me. On my initial scan, I had 12 and 10 follicles. I was once diagnosed with PCOS, so I think that is why I had so many. I ended with 21 eggs at retrieval with 15 fertilizing but only 3 making it to blast stage.

Good luck with stimming!

So Jill... you're looking to have trips???? (3 babies :P )... I did my hpt on 7dp5dt and 8dp5dt both were positive... I went in for my beta on day 9 (or 14 dpo). I am 14dp5dt today with a Beta of 4636...Could be twins... Always dreamed I would have twins too... hmmm...

So looking forward to your good news (and don't tell anyone I said this but if you think you would be very anxious about the call from the doc then POAS before your Beta to get the jitters outta the way)...

Sticky prayers...Cocoa

ICSIgirl, I am so sorry for you. You have always been the most positive and cheerful poster on these forums and it's so unfair that this didn't turn out the way it was supposed to. But I know that you will bounce back after a while and that your time will come one of these days.

Hey Guys!

ICSI GIRL - I hope you are doing OK, and relaxing, and maybe drinking those Miller Chills you told me about and spending time with the family. I'm sure you are going through a rollercoaster of emotions but we are all thinking of you and wishing you the best. Your Time Will Come!!!

Lindsey - Welcome to this thread! Wishing you the best of luck!!

Jill_n_Mark - Good Luck for your beta on 9/5. I have to wait until 9/10 and am pretty much DYING... It's only Day 2 since you don't count the actual day of transfer... so I have quite awhile to wait before I even consider POAS, which I havent decided if I will do or not.

I am still a little worried  my embies were only a 3dt and they didn't want to do a 5dt like others on this forum, and they were only 6-celled with a little fragmentation. I wish I could hear more success stories with those in my similar position who ended up with BFP but as far as I've seen, only a couple stories I can find. I will still try and stay as cheery as I can and cross my fingers and PRAY... :)

Well, I'm back to work today (from the laptop in bed - I'm a Project Mgr) and hoping this distraction will help speed up the process a little. And at least this coming weekend is the Labor day Holiday... :D :D :D We are thinking of a mini-trip to get away. Not sure yet though.

Well, if anyone knows any BFP stories from 6-cell embies on 3dt to cheer me up, please send them along! :P :P :P

Talk to all of you soon and STICKY BABY DUST TO ALL!!!!

Hope everyone is doing well! So wierd that August is coming to an end-onto September in a couple of days....they're thinkin that my transfer date will be done by atleast the 10th...soooo, thats pretty exciting!
I started a new post just to see if anyone had the same thoughts, maybe you guys can help...i did repronex and the gonal f last night for the first time...the gonal f pen seemed like i didnt hardly put any meds in...when i pushed the pen in it did 3 clicks cause i was doing 150...and i made sure after that the meds came out-so im sure it was fine, but i was just like "whoa, that didnt seem like much that i was puttin in".....anyone else experience that?
Oh and also, it was "LOVELY" to read in the paper this morning that my ex boyfriend and his knocked up wife had their baby last week-i dont know how on earth he can reproduce before me, kinda makes me sick to my stomach...thats why im "convinced" God will give me not only one baby this time around....but TWO~~ : ) Guess i have to stay positive right????

Meggs1012 - LOL!! You crack me up! Yeah I think you will definitely be having your baby in good time and you can rest easy knowing it will DEFINITELY be cuter than his, I'm sure. :D :D :D

As for me, just really hating this 2ww!!!! AGGHHH!!!!
Movies and books have been a lifesaver for me. They at least distract me for awhile. Going back to work has helped, but I sure wish there was a remote control to fast forward through life, like the Adam Sandler movie! Hee hee

Hi everyone- great news!!! My beta was today and I'm pregnant!!! We are so thrilled!! And the HCG level is 686, so it could be twins- I'm scared to death they both stuck! But I am just so happy that it worked that even the possibility of twins can't phase me right now. Of course, we're not completely out of the woods yet, since anything can happen from here, but it is such a relief that we have even gotten this far in the process on the first try at IVF. So at the very least we know now that the process does work, and that DH's sperm are good, and that my eggs and uterus and everything function just fine, and that it will work for us, if not this time, then eventually. And that is a wonderful feeling!!

I second that....Congrats Ceiba! :D :P :D I hope this is going to be start of a great pattern here...BFPs! That is a great beta number and I still have 6 days until my PT, but I am considering POAS Saturday.

Julianna - I guess you and I have to keep on waiting for our official results.

Meggs and Lindsey - Don't worry. Time will fly and you'll be in this dreaded 2W before you know it :)

Congratulations Ceiba!!

I had my transfer on Tuesday. I had 2 transfered and am now part of the 2ww group. I have two days down and still 10 more to go before I get to test. My test date is 9/9 which is grandparent's day so hopefully that will bring me good luck.

Good luck to all!!
