Hi, friends!
I don't know about you all, but the weather here is fantastic -- finally!!!
How is everyone doing today?
Sonu, congrats on your up-tick. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a day five transfer improves your chances of having one of the embryos stick. Don't know why yet. I'm going to wait 'til I actually have embryos to find out.
Hellokitty, mmm...ice cream. I don't know what could possibly take the edge off better than ice cream.
Dexter, you overachiever! That is fantastic! Brava!
Lala, I hear you about the pain. I'm starting to feel it too. My poor ovaries are stretched to 5 cm. Nice. Take a load off, eat some ice cream, and use your pain to your advantage. "Honey, I can't possibly do the dishes. I've got to lay in bed here so I can make eggs so I can make you an heir."
Wishfull, good to see you! I, too, feel like I've been stimming forever. And it's only been 9 days. Good luck!
Christin, that's a great number! And isn't it great when the nurses throw us a bone once in a while and tell us things are going well?
Update...
I had another scan today. Things are cooking with gas now, apparently. I have 28 measurable follicles ranging from around 11 - 13.5 mm. My E2 level, however, continues to be a little wonky. I shot up from 300 to 1100, which seems like a lot to me. I have to go back in tomorrow, which also makes me nervous.
DH and I have put the kibosh on talking about anything beyond stimming. It seems that whenever we start mentioning ER or beyond that things start getting scary again. So, like Valerie Bertanelli, we're taking it "one day at a time."
All the best (grow follies, fertilize follies, grow embies!)
Julie
