Kelly,
I know what you meant about not knowing. I have a friend who works at the clinic and I kept asking her about my 1 and only fertilized egg and how they are doing and she kep t telling me that everything is going good as far as she knows. So I by my tranfer day and still didn't know if my embryo is still alive, I said to her "do you think my egg stop dividing and they are afaid to tell me until I get to the transfer?" She started to laugh and told me they wouldn't do that to anybody  . Trust me I was on pins and needles until they gave me a picture of my embryo and told me that they were 10-12 cell embryo  . So keep a postive thought I know it is hard to do as you can see by my story.
:D
Good Luck!

Keddie,

I had nurse call me and rattle off a bunch of numbers that totally confused me. The only thing I got out of it was that out of 10 follies, they got 6 eggs and 5 fertilized via icsi. On the day of transfer I asked for a copy of the embryology report. Of course they complied because you are legally entitled to your medical records. SO ask for the report, the have to give it to you. But if they are letting them grow to blasts then the quality must be good.

Okay it sounds like baths are out of the question, which is a bummer since I can kill a good hour in the bathtub.

And even tho HPTs are considered evil and horrible on this site, I use them every time. I've never been a fan of suspense. I plan to take my first one on the 22nd (5days before beta).

I too have been sleeping a ton--too bad we cant all slip into a coma until beta day!

TICK TOCK....

Ronnie and Rotobay

Yes, I didn't realize there was a report I could ask for, I had my transfer today and they transferred two embbies, one grade AA and one grade AB, that is all my doctor said, she said the grading system is a bit more complicated for blastocysts than it is for day 3 embryos (I kind of felt like she thought I wouldn't understand,) if heaven forbid, we have to go thru this again, I will know what questions to ask!!.

They have two more embryoes they are letting go one more day and going to freeze tomorrow. so I guess I'm officially in the 2WW. I'm going to go crazy I know, I'm supposed to go in for bw on the 26th and if it is positive go back two days later to make sure the levels are rising. I hope I don't resort to the hpt but I doubt I'll be able to resist. :D :D

thanks so much for your responses!

Piggypeps: I'm in the poas club with you. We can stress out and worry together!!

Keddie: Grade AA blast is as good as it gets and AB is 2nd best so you are in good shape. I have a perfect beautiful 3 year old daughter who was once a grade B morula (the stage before blast).

I noticed your name is Kelly and got a kick out of your screen name. I have a friend named Kelly and my daughter calls her Keddie. And my own screen name is a word she said for months that we couldnt figure out. She kept saying 'I want to rotobay (she actually pronounced it wotobay since she cant say R). Anyway we finally figured out she was talking about 'rollerblades'. Not sure why I'm rambling on like this, but this IS the nuthouse,,,

Okay I better go back to my rubber room..

I am SO in the POAS club --- it is horrible. I am 4dp5dt of 3 perfect blasts. I tested BFN yesterday and today. My beta is set for Sun (although Doc said I could do it on Sat technically). I'm concerned, but the gals keep telling me I'm testing WAY TOO SOON. I have seen many BFPs show up on 10 day embies though so I am really hoping tomorrow I get the BFP (especially if I have more than 1 -- I would think it would show up). SO FN SCARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rotobay,

This is something about the name you little girls says! My screen name is keddie because my younger brother couldn't say his "L"s and actually called me Kuddy or Kud (actually, he still calls me Kud to this day!) anyway my aunt started calling me Ked and that's where it came from, who would have thought Kelly was such a hard name to say   !

That is so amazing your have a wonderful little 3 year old! It makes my hopes go up hearing it!

Thanks again for all your input, sometimes the things I read on these boards I feel like is what gets me through this journey :) :)

Take care and keep me posted on you progress too if you don't mind :)

OMG BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COCOA YOU WERE RIGHT

Post by Babyb »

Well ladies, I received my BFP on two tests today!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooooohooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I was feeling dizzy and had some nausea (also felt warm). Thought something might be up, but didn't want to get too excited because the shots cause these symptoms too. So I awoke at 3:00 am (ouch) needing to pee and of course, the lunatic that I am, I picked up the stick and did my deed. At first it looked negative and I started to cry. But then I started to walk back to my bedroom with it in my hand and I saw the line magically appear. I freaked and woke my DH who confirmed, YUP that's a definite line. He swears my HPT yesterday had a faint faint line (now that I look at it, I think he is right, but I thought it was an evaporation line).

To confirm everything, I did ANOTHER POAS (this time Clear Blue Easy instead of FRER) and I got the plus sign. Since I'm using donor eggs, I didn't get an HCG test so this can't be a false positive.

My RE bumped my beta from Sun to Fri. Just hope my HPTs get darker and everything goes well on day of beta.

Thanks to all for being so supportive. I'll keep you posted. COCOA -- LOOKS LIKE I'M JOINING YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BabyB-

If you have triplets, I think you should name them Rumor, Scout and Tahlulah. Talulah would have to be a girl, but Scout and Rumor could go either way...

My DH would LOVE the Demi/Ashton/Bruce jokes. God, I don't know about the names though. I like unique don't get me wrong, but Scout and Rumor and Taluhla -- what drugs would I have to be on?!

Excited about the possibility of multiples, but a little scared too (mostly for the health of the lil peanuts, but also for fear of blowing up the size of a Vegas Casino and experiencing 3 times the vomit and other symptoms). HOw about that for some TMI. Seriously, I embrace all that the universe will throw my way (I'd certainly love at least twins).

Hugs and positive baby vibes. I want to hear YOUR BFPS now!
