Good Luck Jen1 . . .

Hope you have two little beanies snuggling in soon. Have a safe and enjoyable trip. You cracked me up with the fingernails and toenails. Aren't we vain?

JenB, okay enough of the BCPs. Do we all need to send your ER an e-mail? My comment would be -- come on, we need to move Ms. Jen along here, we have BFPs to cheer and wish for, and your holding up the progress of our ability to distribute sparkes. Well, if we can't tell them in person, then this is what this thread is for - right? Hope you hear about the patches real soon. What is the actual hold up? Is it the donor?

Becky, wonderful about your weight loss. I'm glad someone else asked about a stone, because I didn't know either.

Gill, you are still in my heart and prayers.

Peq, wooo hooo - the start of the 2ww. Good luck. We will be here to help keep you occupied until test time. Lots and lots of baby dust to you.

Squeezan, wow - first shot - you're on your way. Seems like after you start the shots it starts going really fast.

Shantala, you can talk all you want about that precious baby you are carrying. You struggled to get where you are at just as we are. I love to see and hear the success storys, it gives me hope and helps me keep a pma. Thanks for sharing.

Love and hugs,
Kim

As for the weight loss, i joined a slimming class called 'slimming world' its great it works for me. I go every Tuesday evening and get weighed, there are loads of women in the same situation as me - some who have been in my situation anad have lost the weight - they help us all out. So far i havent put any weight on at all - each week i have lost, so i love it lol. I think u have to find what works for each individual - some people dont understand the 'red' days and the 'green' days - if u go to

https://www.slimmingworld.com

It explains the diet there - good luck, i of all people know what its like to try and loose weight - u can even do the diet when u are pregnant - its not really a diet - its HEALTHY EATING and good for baby too......

Thanks Becky! That is totally what I need...healthy eating as I sit here eating my nuked cookie dough! I'm just a horrible fruit and veggie eater and my erratic work schedule with no breaks makes my life miserable when it comes to healthy food! If I do get my BFP I will seeabout getting a nutritionist...I think my insurance will pay for that :)

Becky, thanks for the stones...those are pretty big stones, 8 lbs! Sounds more like boulders  But yup 2.2 kg per 1 lb...I use that in medicine all the time.

This is the longest 2 weeks of my life! Today at work is gonna be hell, down one girl but they say we are fully staffed...fully staffed my 18 stone butt!! Just praying for the thunderstorms to roll in and knock out the power...then everyone will go away and leave me alone cuz I can't do any work hehe...sorry for the vent, I just love my job so much  it isn't a conception mood swing either that is for sure..I ALWAYS feel this way bout my job!

Better go poke my eyes out now!
Cheers

Becky Well done on the Mamma Mia tickets. Front row! Are you sure you won't be up on stage taking part? Not long til the wedding - only a week to make the orders of service, guess you're gonna be busy.

I went to see the occupational health nurse at work today. Work's so stressful and I've not been coping with it too well (hormones all over the place). I hate to take time off sick but am thinking that I need a break from work to give myself the best chance of this working and there's no chance of getting a long holiday. She was really good and agreed that I should take time off 'sick'. So I think I'm going to sign off for next week then see if my GP will sign me off for 2ww to give this cycle a really good chance.
I feel bad about work but sometimes you have to look after yourself, don't you.

So sorry about your BFN. It really sucks but it does get a little bit easier as the days pass by. Honest

Pequele - you have passed 1 week already. Hang in there. Don't do the hpts just yet. Try to hang in there and take a day at a time

Rachel - sorry that you have headaches. Cannot believe that you are getting close to the end of the 1st trimester. That is amazing

Shantala - you are so sweet. I need you as my lukcy charm! Then may be you can push me over the finish line on try 5!!!!!!!!!!????? Are you into X Factor yet?? Boot camp this week so things should really start to warm up

Beckster - good work on the diet. How nice that you have been trusted with the Order of Serice. Seen Mama Mia in London. Took my baby sister for her birthday a few years ago. I LOVED IT. It is so happy and uplifting. I could not stop smiling. Front row - you will be right in the thick of it! Such fun

Su - good luck on starting again. Too right you need to think of yourself. Get the sick note and relax with dvds and magazines. This takes more out of us than we think with all the drugs let alone the stress. Work will still be there!!

Jayne - bet Billy was really funny. My dh would love to see him

Aunty P - think of you every day. I can only imagine how hard it is for you

Gill - Lapland. That is such a cool (ha ha) place to go. Is it for skiing?

JB - You must be on the patches very soon. They must be lining you up with a very special donor. Hope that you can relax at the weekend as know that you have been very busy

Hugs to everyone else. Enjoy the weekend ladies.

Been busy with lots of social stuff too. Helps pass the days quickly for sure. Saw good friend on Thursday who has had 6ivfs the last 3 with DE. She has miscarried 4 babies now across the last 3 cycles. It was lovely to see her as we used to work a couple of desks apart at my old company. She was being brave and is now thinking of joining me in Spain!!

Need to ensure that I can chill out a bit when I am in the midst of tmt or at least for some of the 2ww. So spotting started for me today. That is usually a good sign that AF is around 3/4 days away so looks like Tuesday will be kick off for me at least on bcps. I have acu booked for that evening and he wants to see me on the 1st day of my period so could almost be too good to be true.

Have a great weekend all.

Lots of Love
Carolyn

Thanks Squeez- I am tryin to be strong :) Now let me give you a pep talk on work...POOP ON IT  Work has been driving me mad lately, too! Emotional stress often is worse on your system than physical stress, it is not something you need right now! If the docs say stay home, then stay home! I know it is hard if you are like me and will need those days for later, just remember we want to get you to that "later" and not wear you out now!!!

So take the time off, put your feet up and put on your fluffy robe :D ooh and hot cocoa, unless you like tea of course, I don't, I like chocolate hehehe.
