Oh Jen

Love the scales photos, i will be a size zero on those yiippeee.

I sound more mad than the Beckster eh. I do walk about wit others but am always looking over my shoulder if i'm on my own, poor person that attacks me then would be walloped well hard. Even when its daylight and i have my ipod on, if its a really quiet place like beside woods then i check about or walk fast----oh i sound really mad now. Thinks it's because i watch and read to many real life crime books

Ok will must go or i will have nightmares in my bed lol

Sleep well-------oh that saying reminds me of Crimewatch---cant watch that either if i'm on my own as the reconstructions are to scary. Oh ye and when me and dh went to see Disturbia at the cinema i made him sit in the very back row so nobody was behind us as it was a thriller.
Do you remember Tales of the Unexpected, i used to watch that when i was little but the music freaked me out and The Birds was my first thriller, we used to stay overnight with my Gran and the coal fire on the ceiling scared me so much in the dark as the shadows looked like the birds were coming to get me.
Oh look you have set me off with all my tails of scariness

Anyone else as wimpy as me in the dark??

Jen1 Sounds like you really got things in perspective - Good for you Image

Gill Hope you hear from IM soon. Warning, stupid question coming up - what is IM? Been wondering ever since I joined this thread.

Wow! Thanks Everyone. With all that encouragement and Becky's stern talking to how can my follies fail to grow!
Can't believe how much I've missed on here today - only been out for a few hours and now I can't catch up. Had a lovely relaxing swim this morning then spent the afternoon with my sister and gorgeous 1 yr old nephew. I feel so much more relaxed now. I appreciate all your nagging about hassling the docs but to be honest I think I'll go back to work Monday and see how it goes. Can always sign myself of again if they start to take the p*** again. Besides I've got the decorators in so need to get out of the house and there's only so much shopping (and swimming) a girl can do!
Need to read back through the posts again and see what I've missed.
Bye for now

Thanks everyone for the sparkles and hugs! I am good really. It was my first try, I know I have others, I will just have to wait til next summer if this next doesn't work...I SUCK AT WAITING if you haven't figured it out yet

I have a question, what is this IM that I see all the time...are you all instant messaging and leaving me out of the loop

Jen(s): you ever notice when you lay on your back and stick your legs in the air (oh that sounds so wrong) but you ever notice how all the flubba takes to gravity and yur legs look really skinny :D I love that...now if I can just find someway to make that look stick right side up.....*SIGH*

Can't say I share the same scariness of the dark Jen1. Now spiders!! THAT FREAKS me out!!! At work our building is swarming with the buggers and they are HUGE!!! Friggen tarantulas!!! They stare at me thru the windows waggin their fangs at me....dropping down in the middle of the window like a bad Charlotte's Web nightmare! HEEEEBBIE JEEEBIES!

Jen B- woo no more bcp!! were they at least pretty colors :? Funny how at times we HATE that AF and other times we are like come out come out and play Auntie  You have fun this weekend, hopefully it is the last time you can booze it up hahaha

Becky soo glad to hear the dress is all good! You have a blast this weekend! You deserve it!! And congrats on no weight gain...so what you didn't lose... YOU DIDN"T GAIN! YAHOOOO!

Waves and hugs to those I missed...I have to go beat the dog. He is barking at the neighbor's dog and it is driving me nuts....KIDDING...I'm already nuts haha and you thought I'd say I wasn't gonna beat the dog  realllllyyy kidding, I love the hairy beast and his googley eyes!

Hi Ladies, so sorry been MIA again!!! getting to be habit.

Pequele, i am so sorry for you , big hugs.

Carolyn, wow that was fast way to go, it will fly by with how busy you keep yourself.

Rachel, congratulations on graduating to the second trimester, you must be so happy, hope the headaches ease soon and you can start really enjoying the pregnancy.

Jenbabes, well done on finally ending the bcp's, hope you don't have to wait too much longer.

ICSI, welcome, sorry about the chemical, but take the positive that it proves you can get pregnant, they just need to stick around. Enjoy the break.

Su, hope those follies are grwing well, and you get good results this time, hope the week off has helped, you are one brave lady going through this alone, and you pequele, i admire your strenth.

Becky, glad the wedding dress is sorted, have a great time, and don't worry about the diet just enjoy yourself. Get posting so we can celebrate your new status, although you are greatly valued by us all already.

Jen1d, I am not afraid of the dark, but am with you on horror films and books, always scaring myself stupid, used to watch hammer house of horror on friday nights with my mum, in bed with a cushion on my face, just peering over the top.I also used to love tales of the unexpected. Hope when your back at work your not too busy and stressed.

As for me, AF arrived today, so am at hospital in the morning for anothert scan. I am also taking part in a research paper for onr of the nurses about recurrent miscarraiges. she is doing an MA and this is for her dissertation, also there not many papers/stidies on this. She is the miscarraige nurse and senior nurse at the clinic.
I like dogs, but impossible with work, so we have 2 cats, tabbies, brother and sister called roobarb and custard. we need kids so we can blame the names on them!!!LOL

Anyway better go to bed, early start tomorrow, 2 hour drive to clinic, got to be there for 9.30.

Sorry to everyone i've missed, sticky baby dust to all

I'm with you on spiders Peq which reminds me a huge one ran across my lounge yesterday and I haven't seen it since. I'll tell myself the cat ate it - she was having a good look. Worse than spiders tho' - it's daddy-long-legs season here. They lurk in the toilets at work!!!!!!!!
Can't do scary films at all especcially anything that involves mirrors.
Had a weird dream last night that spooked me in the morning. I'd emptied the bathroom cabinet yesterday (for the decorators) and I dreamed that it got refilled in the night, by a poltageist  and everytime I cleared it the stuff reappeared. Could hardly bare to go into the bathroom this morning. That's got to mean something! :? (Maybe just that I'm as barking mad as the rest of you  )

Squeezan, Oh My!! your dreams are scary!! What do you have in your medicine cabinet?? Must be from all the meds we take during our cycles. I get a little nervous all the time trying to remember if I took this dose or that dose when I cycle.

Jen B...No, I was lazy and laid in the bed all night from 7pm on. It was so great!! But I did stop myself from eating popcorn at 9pm. I just went down and grabbed another bottle of water and I woke up this morning and lost another pound!!! :D Back at a total of 11lbs.

Beachbaby, AF arrived, does that mean you start? Good for you doing all the tests to make sure you find an answer. As you can see I have had 3 chemicals too. Im just trying to get as healthy as I can. Good luck.

Gotta go to work.

Talk soon,

Hi mad girls

Oh Jen, what did we start, we have got everyone terrified and the dreams are coming in fast. Your wedding sounds fab, need a photo please as i love everything snowy and white. I lived in Switzerland when i worked with a family in Milan, it was there holiday home and i loved it.
Crying for Bruce Willis  Jen, its only pretend

Gill - Any news yet, know you must be getting so fed up but hassle them and we are here if you need to scream and shout. Hope your feeling ok, sound a bit down---come here for a laugh----dont say anything but i think their all barking

So Ms Carolyn - You are being a busy bee this week. The days seem to be going so fast, before we know it the sparkles will be getting planned for ET 8)

Sq - Yuck daddy long legs, they get caught in your hair and yep, mirrors are scary and so are masks but dont you think if they took the music away then it would be fine---suppose it wouldnt be a thriller then eh
Be careful in that toilet, the bodies always get chopped up in the bath lol

Kim - Welcome back, where have you been hiding? Glad af has arrived and your on your way. You can maybe call your twins Rhubarb and Custard :?:

Pequele - Like your thought about the skinny legs but they need to invent something to get dangled and have the skinny look all over---maybe i just need to go in for some serious liposuction from forehead to big toe
Put that dog in Sq's bath, i hate barking dogs

So where is everyone else, must be working far to hard, hi to you all.

Popped out to tesco today then have been chilling ever since, am feeling a bit lazy when i sit down but also feel i am doing a bit more this time.
Anyway isnt it between 5-7 days after ET that implantation occurs? thats my excuse for being lazy

So 8 days to go, doesnt time fly when your waiting on a BFN  Feeling a bit neg about the whole cycle today. Feel nothing this time, know that can be good or bad. Last time i felt a lot and still got a neg so could this be no feelings and get a pos????????

Ok will pop back later to see if anyone is around

Love Jen x

HI All! have been keeping up ith u ladies hee and also in the Sept-Oct cycle buddies thread. u all are really great. thanks for all the support i had from u till date.
well iam also in the awaiting treatment line and today my RE gave me something to chew on and now i have found that it has turned indigestible. Well girls, can u believe it? he said that my body was making some antibodies (Whatever that is :? ) which were rejecting the antibodies in my DH's sperms. he says he need more time to be sure and he can tell by October last and so i shall be starting my down regulation from the second week of november.
but i m really confused about this anti-sperm-antibody thing and can any of u out here help me?
i have been visiting an acupuncturist and had been hoping to conceive naturally with his help. but now the RE has asked me to stop as he says he dosent want any of my hubby's sperm in me right now. can u beleive my luck? now i have got to hold it till november what say?
lots of luck everybody

Hi :D

JenB- :D
Hi babe, Im still jigging for your af any sign yet? Loved the stressed post too, must be why us girls like our cakes!
I've been Ski-ing on and off since school but every year for the last 5 yrs, Austria, France, Switzerland and Bulgaria mainly but we went to Lapland last year,It was sooooo lovely that we have booked to go twice next year once in Feb and again in March. The snow was just fantastic it was -21 the first day we were there but I think it will be colder in Feb! The ski-ing is not too taxing( if your very advanced you could be a bit bored)there are plenty of things to do as well eg reindeer safari, husky safari, snow mobiles, Ice hotel, Northen lights,Father christmas!! Your wedding in Canada sounds fantastic :D , we would love to go to Canada, maybe one day

Pequele- :D
Hope you are doing ok, it sounds like you have moved on and are thinking of your next tmt.

Jayne- :D
Hope your scan goes well tomorrow and well done for taking part in reaserch! :D I love the names of your cats  , I only have the one she was a rescue cat she's white with a couple of brown patches. She was in a hell of a state when we got her but she looks lovely now.

Jen1- :D Hope you are doing ok, I've noticed a few -ive thoughts on your posts! Dont forget you have top notch embies in there and they must be strong little buggers as they survived the thaw too! :D So I say 8 more days to your BFP!!! You've started something with your scary movies :? The one that gave me the willies was 28 days later, cant bring myself to watch 28 weeks later! :? :?

Su- :D
Saw JenB answered the question on IM, just a bit quicker than writing the full title! Glad you've made your mind up about time off and like you say if it gets too much you can get a sick note.

want2bmom- :D ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
Great news that you will be starting tmt in November, but sorry about the antibodies thing :? I have heard about it but cant help with any info sorry.

Sorry to all those I've missed I hope you are all ok.

I hate snakes and spiders yuck!!!!! I bought myself a spider catcher because even though I hate them I just cant kill them  It was the best £5 I've ever spent!!!
IM sent me an email today but only to confirm that they had received the email I sent on Monday. I will phone them tomorrow as af is due soon and if we do decide to go ahead with tmt I would like to get going on next AF ( if we can).

Take care everyone
Lots of love

This is a real quickie as I am sorry but I am knackered. Plus not sure that I can deal with all this stuff about being scared of the dark, spiders and snakes. What is going on here!!!!! Only thing that I am s*** scared off is another -ve cycle!!!!

Ladies - thank you for all the good luck wishes about being matched with a donor. It is exciting and scary at the same time. Just keeping busy to pass the time - now there is a surprise. I will calm down when I get closer to transfer - honest!! Not even seeing the bcps as part of tmt although I do seem to be permanently hungry

want2bmum - I am not a medical person but have read a lot. I think what it means is that when dh's material is inside you, your body senses that the material is not from you and puts out antibodies to reject the embies/sperm. I think but am not sure that if this is the issue then they may be able to treat the issue with low dose steriods which will help your body not to reject the embies. The good news about them identifying an issue is then they can hopefully do something to combat the issue. Hope that what I told you is right and not a load of nonsense. Let us know what you find out babe

Love to everyone.

Will do a proper catch up on Saturday. Almost the weekend girls. YIPPPEEEE

Jayne-let us know how clinic goes, sorry you have to get up so dang early...I hate early. But I guess it is for a good reason...heck you probably won't get any sleep if you are like me all full of excitement and nerves :) PS I love Roobarb and Custard...reminds me of the twins in that movie What A Girl Wants called Peach and Pear haha.

Su- of course we are nuts! But you should see my dog FREAKIN over the lady bug flying around the ceiling now. OOOO it's gonna GET HIM!!!!! He is more on edge now than I was in my 2ww...ok not really 2 ww but you get the pic! WUTS THAT!!!! I'm gonna guess you never watched the movie Candyman??? Daddy long legs aren't the ones that bother me...it is the big fat juicy ones that I can see their googlie eyes and dripping FANGS! Spiders in the toilet, yep that is scary!

Jen B thanks for helping me out with the IM thing...I thought there was some cool IM feature that me the retard couldn't find on here :? That would be more fun though to pass the time wouldn't it? Got fun stuff planned for the weekend to make it fly faster? I got lots to watch on my tivo (not scary stuff that is for sure) so I can watch that when I'm not at work

Carolyn how exciting about the donor. What is the next step/how long?

hugs and baby dust to everyone!

Playing phone tag with my doc... trying to decide whether to waste more money this cycle or not. I need advice/insight from her as to whether I am missing my O (DOUBT IT since my temp and the poas coincide, but I have a temp dip earlier in my cycle...was it just cuz it was a cold night?) or if I have a short luteal phase, how could it ever sustain a fertilized egg if one got to implant? I mean why waste the money if my body can't even give a fertilized egg a chance right? I'd rather save the DS til I can try again next summer and have the TIME to sort some of this out! Such a bugger but I'd just like to know now if I have to bother charting my cycle any longer. Look at me, 1 cycle and I am already to call it quits til next summer! Oh well.

Off to bed...some year I will update my ticker!
