Banana- Yes the clinic required 24hrs of strict bed (or couch) rest and the 2-3 days of light acitivity after that the only restrictions I have is no aerobic activiity and no heavy lifting (anything over 5lbs).
I have a friend that goes to a diffierent clinic and they required 72 hrs of bed rest.....I think every clinic is different!

Hopefully mine will work out even though i was not required for bed rest. i was told to take it easy at the gym but I'm not going to go. I do hope this works but if it doesn't maybe next time I will try bed-rest. Oh 7 more days until blood-work. What am i going to do with myself.

Banana-I wonder if all of our docs are just guessing with the restrictions (personal preference). Don't think twice about it. Only 7 more days how exciting! And like Desparado said don't take any risks and rest.

Michelle & Desparado--Hope you both have great weekends! Keep busy so you don't think about the final days of your 2ww.....

BaoBao--Is your FET on Monday?

Hello everyone! How we all doing today on the 2ww? Hope youre enjoying your weekend so far.
The day after tomorrow Michellexx and its all over for you! :) How are you today? Hope you have a really nice evening tonight, your friends sound as though they are really supportive. Mine are great however they dont truly understand the way you guys on this thread do. For that im very grateful. It has really helped out knowing you lot are here! THANKS.
Hows your butt Lots? Hope you are relaxing and taking it easy.
Banana-hows it going? Hope youre taking it easy too.
Im having a day on the couch today, England vs Estonia (footy) then England vs France (rugby), COME ON ENGLAND!!!! Wll have to record strictly come dancing and ant n dec!! DH is enjoying an alcoholic beverage and im so jealous, not that i drink anyway. Why is it always the way when you cant have something you always want it!!!
Ive still got my period pains and backache but with everyday that goes by, im feeling more positive. I just want that BFP on Wednesday. Im not even going to buy a HPT until Tues night, dont want to tempt fate!
Im popping off now to watch the footy (soccer for those who live over the pond)! England have scored twice so its getting interesting now!!
See you all soon. Fingers and everything crossed for you Michellexx, ill check forum Monday morning.
Hugs and kisses x x x x x x x x x x

Lots/Michellexx, thanks for all your excitement! LOL..unfortunately, monday is only US for me, to check that the lining is ready for ET. I'm hoping all goes well and that ET can be sometime in the same week! Hope to have good news come Monday.

Regarding the bed rest thingy, I think the most important thing is to listen to your body, do what it tells you to do or not to do. There's another member in the other thread who said she was almost on bed rest for the whole 2WW, and it worked for her (= she's PG). But for others, it might be different...I remember when i had the OHSS and had to lie in bed, immobile for 3-4 days, it really got me down and pretty depressed (well compounded by the fact that ET couldn't be performed). So for me, I think I will take it easy for the first 3 days, moving little and not carry heavy stuff (=less groceries!) but I intend to get on with life as per normal after. In fact, DH and I are already planning a holiday, possibly right in the middle of the 2WW! I think you have to take care not just of your physical self, but also your mental well being.

Sorry desparado, but I'm rooting for France for the Rugby WC! LOL. Good luck for your BW next Wednesday.

Michellexx, I like your positive thinking no matter what happens. Don't worry and enjoy the weekend, come Monday everything will be great!

Evening All!! Yeha, England won the footy!! 3-0!!!! Not very exciting but we got the result we needed! The rugby isnt going to plan, ive had turn over cos i cant cope, my nerves wont take it! And its only the first half!!!
You watching the game Boa Boa? Fingers crossed for you, will you keep us informed on your progress next week, not long now, yeha! :)
I think youre absolutely right Boa, listen to your own body and take care of yourself, not only physically but mentally too. Our clinic dont let us go away while on the treatment. They tell us to wait until weve had the 5 week scan before they give us the all clear and transfer us to our local hospital. We so need a holiday. Whatever happens we are booking a holiday just after christmas.
Michellexx-is your dp still on this planet with the footy result? Mine is lying on the couch half asleep now, serves him right for rubbing my nose in it earlier, hope he has a bad head in the morning!!!! :) Yes i have to buy my own hpt, i could go to the clinic but it would probably cost just as much getting to and from there! I think theres 2 in the packet, costs about £11.99. Weve been told to get the clearblue tests! I get mine from sainsburys so i can put the nectar points on my card!!! Im not going to test the night before. Im going to test on the date they gave me this time. Hey, it only takes 1 lil embie to work sweetie. Keep positive, youve got this far, we are all routing for you. Good to keep busy though and be around people to keep your mind off it all. Its good also that you have a plan if things dont work out this time. We will be back on the injections too i think in January if this doesnt work out. But hey, we wont need that cos ITS GONA WORK THIS TIME OK!!!!
Anyway, just going peek at the rugby score and then get some milk!
See you all soon. Night night. Take care of yourselves. X X X X X

Michellexx - I'm so sorry. Sometimes you just need a good cry. We are here for you if you need anything. Take some time to yourself as you deserve it. Oh this roller coaster ride how can we keep doing this.

Desperado - I'm so sorry too. Just think November is just around the corner. Let's keep all the good vibes flowing.

Lots of baby wishes - How are you holding up in your 2ww?

Baobao - good luck today! We need some good news.

Well with me I really want to take a hpt test and I'm really trying not too. But I don't feel anything. That is why I think this is not going to be good news one minute and the next I try to stay as positive as I can. But what if. The other thing is that even though we transferred two and only one makes it I think I still might be a little upset. I mean they are both already my babies. I was upset last week at the ET when one of them didn't make it through the thawing process. Am I crazy??

Baby dust to all of you!!!

hello michelle and desparado! i am so so so sorry to hear the bad news, i know how you feel and i am thinking of both of you. what helps me, is to think ahead. so, right after i found out the bad news, i called my doctor and scheduled an appointment to see him. i have an appointment for tomorrow to talk about next steps, which will be a fresh cycle some time i guess in late november or early december. i am on a cost warranty program that includes 3 fresh cycles; this will be my last one, so i am desperately hoping that this will work out. anyway, i am thinking about both of you.
for the rest of you, i am spreading baby dust and hope the 2 week wait won't be so long.
i'll let you guys know what my doc says tomorrow.
