Today will be my first day of lupron shots of my very first attempt of IVF wit ICSI. We skipped IUI's, no point, not enough swimmers. I have been so excited and maybe a little too optomistic as my RE told me he thinks there's about a 65% chance this will work 1st time for us and that its unlikely to take more than 2 attempts. Is this just way too unrealistic? I have hung onto those words and have believed that in a few weeks I may be pregnant. After reading through so may people's stories I'm not seeing many short term success stories. I'm wondering if that because those lucky ones are not as interested in communicating on message boards or simply because they don't exist? Should I expect this to take months to years???? Any positive stories about this process not taking so long would be greatly appreicated. I want to keep up the positive attitude but not set myself up for huge dissapointment if I'm just kidding myself?

I's also love to hear from anyone seing Dr William Schoolcraft as he's my RE.
Thanks for all your stories in advance.
