Hey girls, had my ET today (finally!). Unfortunately, one of my embies didnt survive the thaw :( I was kinda disappointed but I guess I should be thankful that the one that made it was a Grade I 8-cell embryo. DH and I call it our fighter :) It was quite something seeing the embryo on the tv screen, we could even see the cells twitching, amazing feeling. Test date is 2 Nov for me.

The transfer though was one of the most uncomfortable things I've experienced, not sure if it's just me (even the daily jabs were more bearable!) My bladder was so full *too full perhaps* and when they put the speculum, it was pressing so hard on my bladder i swear the pain was excruciating. After the transfer I had to lie down but my bladder couldn't hold it and i had to ask for a container to relieve myself while lying down (am embarrassed to say it, really!) . DH couldn't stop laughing (so much for solidarity....LOL)

Anyway, that's it, 2WW beckons and I'm hoping for no symptoms at all, I just wanna take it easy these 2 weeks.

Banana, been thinking about you this morning, I really really hope it's a BFP for you!! Courage girl!

Lots, enjoy the last weekend before the testing, don't worry everything will be fine come next week, BFP for you!!

Pummalaemma, thanks for the wishes, I am keeping my fingers crossed for your numbers to go down down down..

Hi ladies,

I have great news. I got a BFP!!! My HCG was a 120 and I have to go back on Tuesday for another set of blood work to make sure it keeps going up. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that. I wanted to thank all of you for your kind words and wonderful support. Lots - You will be next.

How exciting! I am so happy to hear about your BFP Banana :D !!!! Congrats!! Is that considered high (120)/possibly twins?
Hopefully the BFP's will continue for the rest of us!!!

Welcome to the 2ww BaoBao! I am glad to hear that you transfer went well! All you need is one healthy embryo--fingers crossed & lots of baby dust! I agree the transfer was amazing to see on the us. The whole procedure was very surreal. I also drank way too much H2O resulting in severe discomfort. It gave me a good laugh to hear of your 'peeing' experience. Keep busy and before you know it your testing day will be here! Lots of rest (and stress free) this weekend!

Thanks Lots, I'm rather enjoying this beginning of the 2WW, with DH at my beck and call LOL Let's hope our little fighter wins the battle inside mummy's womb!

Since i've become a couch potato, I've had time to browse the net and came across this wonderful site http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/miracle/me ... _r_04.html. It's a series of videos from conception, implantation, foetus to new born. It was so enlightening and life truly is a miracle, I cried at the end (what a wuss LOL) Thought it might help you kill some time. Do watch the whole 8 videos if you have time, promise it's worth it.

Have a good weekend everyone and may the positive vibes continue to flow!

THank you so much ladies. It means so much to me. The nurse wouldn't tell me the possibility of it being twins. I need to go back for another beta on Tuesday and hopefully it will continue to rise. I can only have a scan once the beta goes over 1000 and I reach 7 weeks. I'm so excited thought.

Baobao - I'm glad that your transfer went well. I'll be thinking about you. Just keep the positive thoughts flowing and don't forget that i didn't have any symptoms at all.

Lots - It's going to be a BFP for you too!

Baby dust to all of you.

Baobao how is the 2ww wait going?
Banana good luck tomorrow, my fingers are crossed for twins for you!
Angeleyes--I go for my bloodwork on Wednesday! Good luck to you!

I am glad that the 2ww is almost over. I was fine up until today, I actually barely even though about it. But that all has changed when I woke up this am. I do feel that I could vomit any second due to my nerve and anticipation! I am sure everyone feels like this leading up to 'the big day' or dooms day!
One of my girlfriends is also in labor right now so I want to get to see her before Wednesday....

Faith & Hope--I also have never been pg so I have no prior experience...I would re-test tomorrow to assure that it is positive....it is very rare to have a false positive unless you still have meds in your system. Good luck and stay positive!

Hope everyone else is doing well!

Hiya Everyone
At last some good news! Congratulations for the BFP! Its great news for you, i am so pleased for you, banana. Fingers crossed for TWINS!!! :)
Welcome to all the newbies.
Boa boa, thanks very much for those kind and encouraging words. Im only just beginning to feel better in myself. Dont know whats hit me this time. I suppose i feel like my chances are slipping away every time it fails. Its really hard to deal with as many of you will know. Im back at the gym and cycling again, also getting some reiki / indian head massages and acupuncure. Going to take some time off work soon too as it is sooooo stressful. I have to start peeing on my ovulation sticks again on Thursday so hopefully looking at another FET in about 10 days or so. Weve only got 2 left in storage so heres hoping they survive the thaw and then divide. Its such a long hard journey. Trying to learn from each failure and do things a bit differently every time!
Hope everyone else is doing ok?
We need some more good news!!
Sending loads of positive thoughts to everyone, hugs too!
See you all soon. TTFN. X X X X X
