Hey girls,

Banana, those numbers looked really good! I'm betting they are twins...so happy for you :-)

LOTS, good luck today and keep the good news coming!

Desparado, glad to know you are feeling better. Never easy to go through something as difficult as this, but hey, in 10 days or so it's another FET, so plenty to be hopeful about!

As for me, I'm 5dp3dt, rested in bed for the first day and got up and running from second day onwards. Don't feel anything different and dont really care LOL I dont think about it too much except when i come to the MB. Well DH and I are going away for a week starting from this weekend, so I'll be on holidays for the second half of the 2WW which is great. We will be back just in time for the testing next FRiday (although frankly I told DH we could delay a day or 2 to have a longer holiday...he wouldnt have it..LOL)

Well my result was BFN! It is so hard to write this meanwhile tell anyone! My husband got the results and I could tell as soon as he walked thru the front door. Even though we have been thru disappointment before you always seem to forget how much it hurts (and how long). I am already looking to the next cycle as this is the best medicine for me. Best of luck to everyone else!
There has gotta be some more BFP's out there!!!!!

Lots, I'm so so sorry to hear that :-(

If it helps staying away from the MB then you should. It will take time to get over the disappointment, but like you said, look forward to the next cycle! I always think people who get it right the first time are very lucky people. Me for example, I've never won any lucky draws or prizes by luck/chance what have you in my entire life. And not trying to sound negative, I've always told myself it will take a few times before I get it right, twice if i'm lucky.

Just remember that the chance increases with each cycle, so keep your chin up!

Lots - I'm so sorry to hear that. I know your disappointed but don't give up, we are fighters and things will work out. We have to take all our inner strength and really believe in ourselves. I agree with Baobao if staying away form the MB is going to help you than you should. We will all be thinking about you. Baby dust to all of you....

Thanks for the kind words Banana & Baobao! It is getting easier as each day passes. I am in the same boat as you Baobao...I have never been lucky when it comes to numbers or lottery's. My DH also reminded me that is why we are doing the shared risk program (we did not think we would be a first timer). Luckily we have 5 more cycles :)
Just waiting for my AF to start the new cycle. Most likely will be in Dec. My clinic has a protocol of the BCP for 21 days and then start your meds to stimulate.
How is everyone else? Any updates Baobao or Banana?

hello everyone, Lots- happy to hear that your a feeling a lil bit better. Update on me, my beta levels continue to increase, my last beta was like 2100. But yesterday i started to bleed and had to go in for an emergency scan. THey said everything seemed ok for now but there was only one sac. That means I'm not having twins. The doctors told me to take it easy over the next week and I'm scheduled for another scan on Monday. UNless of course the bleeding gets heavier or i start to have bad cramps i will have to go in for monitoring. Hopefully this little one will survive. Keeping everything crossed.

how is everyone else?

Hi girls

sorry for the long absence. We went away for holiday and only just came back today, just in time for the blood test. Well, another 2 more hours or so and we will know if it's a very good or a very bad weekend. Honestly, I'm not feeling too hopeful, haven't really had any symptoms and don't feel pregnant.

Banana, glad to know the numbers are going up, don't think too much about the spotting I'm sure it will go away. I know you said you had no symptoms etc, but thinking back now that you are pregnant, did you feel any different?

Lots, thanks for checking in. It's now a waiting game for me, and the past few days haven't been easy. I started thinking more about it as the test date drew nearer, pretty nerve-wrecking really. I've told DH i'm not answering the call, feel kinda bad about it cos DH's also feeling pretty stressed right now. But I don't think I'm up for bad news today. Anyway, fingers crossed...

Thought I'll write some while I'm still up for it...BFN for me. Cried all my tears and poor DH had to console me even though he was feeling as bad. How do people find the strength to go through this cycle after cycle?! I'm just wondering how many I can go through before going insane...

Will probably start another FET this month, AF should be ard the corner and hopefully we can transfer 2 this time.

Thanks ladies for all your prayers/wishes/thoughts, hoping to be 2nd time lucky! Baby dust to all...

FET OCT 26th

Post by schel67 »

Hi I'd need a chat buddie! I did an FET on Oct 26th :D . They transfered 3 embies, they weren't sure of viability on one. I'm now in two week wait. Hubby, is away and I'm going crazy not being able to talky to someone daily about what I'm feeling. I tried journaling but it just isn't the same as talking without feedback. I really don't want to talk to my friends about how I'm feeling cuz I've been through this 4 times now and I feel like I disapoint them when it doesn't work. They want to know why it didn't work, and I simply don't know. Actually, last time it did work and one implanted, but then it stopped developing, again I had to tell everyone the sad news, and again they want to knwo why.....I don't know :( . This time I am doing accupunture and I claim my pregnancy on faith. I'm not really feeling any physical changes, I'm just real emotional and for the most part think it finally took. I am really trying to stay positive!

I need to change a few things in my signature profile but until I figure out how to change it there I'll post the update here.

1. I am now 40 years old, I turned in april
2. Fresh cycle planned for July was pushed to Sept 1st
Sept 15th BFP :D but with low HCG level :? was told to be guarded
embryo stopped development.
3. Second FET Oct. 26th, 3 thawed icebabies, 2 grade AA and
one questionable on viability

Pumma,
thanks for the welcome.

Congrats to Banana!

BaoBao, my heart goes out to you. I too know the frustration and disapointment of failed IVF both fresh and frozen. I also wonder sometimes how the strength is found. I personally turn to my faith in Jesus to give me strength. That he will pull me through, and he wants me to have my hearts desire. God bless bless you and I pray it's your turn this next FET.

schel67-how are you doing with your 2ww, i am sending much baby dust over and i'll keep my fingers crossed that this will be your time. when is your 2ww over? don't worry about disappointing your friends if it does not work out, they should be there for you to comfort and support you. but i know all the questions over and over again, it can be very tiresome. hang in there.
