Hi!

I am so grateful for this site! We are expecting twins 2/9/08! 2nd IVF attempt!

On modified bedrest b/c of subchorionic bleeds, but they are starting to shrink. I go weekly for u/s to monitor. Babies are growing on target though!

Just wanted to thank everyone for their continued sharing - i learn alot from you "second-timers!"

Hey everyone!!
Hope ya don't mind me joining in!!
My name is Renee.. I'm 26 and my DH is 30.. We just completed our first IVF w/ ICSI cycle in June.. Got our BFP on June 18th!!
Today makes me 13 weeks pregnant and so so so so excited!! It took us almost 6 years of trying.. our dream is coming true!!
I can't wait to get to know each and every one of you!!

Welcome Renee! And congratulations to your and your DH on your pregnancy! We are glad that you have joined us, but you will find that we tend to be a fairly quiet group. Not sure why. Perhaps we will become a chattier group when we are all farther along. I'm hoping so anyway. I see that you are in my neck of the woods, and that we are both within days of each other in our pregnancies. Very exciting! I am looking forward to hearing more about how you are doing.

ps. Don't you LOVE how they wave to you during the u/s? Ours did that too!

Every bit of this pregnancy is amazing.. Its just a miracle!!! When we heard our babies heartbeat.. it was just so amazing.. and stilll its just so unreal that I have a precious baby growing inside of me !!! Its amazing, but just i don't know.. lol... AMAZING!!
Its ok that its a quiet group.. maybe stuff will pick up as we progress.. just like you said..
I really look forward to getting to know you all!!!

sorry guys long time since i have been in touch withyou. Have anyone felt the movement of the babies?. How does it feel?. Everyone has been asking me about this and i am not pretty sure how it feels?. Have my next appt on september 1st. Planning to take a break and go stay in my mothers place. will keep in tounch with you all

I haven't felt anything yet.. Its still quite early though..
I'm 13weeks and 3 days today.. so maybe in a few more weeks.. I guess from what I have heard normal is 16-22 weeks. .. the more pregnancies the sooner (maybe because you can be aware of what it feels like)

I can't wait to feel mine though!! I wish I was 20 weeks!! So many milestones then... Feeling baby, the sex.. so exciting!!!!!

Hi everyone,
it's been a long time!! I think I felt the baby move yesterday when I was sitting down relaxing. (hard to do with an almost 3 year old!)
It feels like a 'bubble bursting' at first. Well, to me anyway. Some people have mistaken the feeling for gas or a nervous stomache. Some people say it feels like butterflies. I think in my 1st pregnancy I felt it around 19-20weeks. I am 17 weeks now and I am more aware of what to look for. It is very mild so it can be missed.
I visited my dr yesterday as well. The baby's heartbeat was 153! and I am measuring right on target. It's exciting. A friend of mine had a baby this morning, a girl, so I can't wait to visit them.
How's everyone else doing? Anyone else feel anything yet?

I had my second appointment yesterday with our obstetrician. We heard the heartbeat again. So amazing. I just can't seem to get enough of that. Also, even though I am almost 17 weeks along, the baby is measuring at 19 weeks. (I'm so proud). Needless to say, I'm showing finally. Which is pretty amazing to me for so many reasons, but especially now that I have found out that I've lost almost 15 pounds since I got pregnant. (So where is all of this cellulite coming from???) The doctor told me that she isn't worried about my weight loss at this point. She told us that the heartbeat is strong and the baby is growing well, so if she isn't worried, then I'm not worried. I'm sure that this is all due to my morning-noon-night, 24/7, when-will-it-ever-end morning sickness.

Actually I feel pretty good these days. I still battle the nausea/vomiting/lethargy, but not nearly to the degree that I was before. So I really believe that it is tapering off...I keep repeating that to myself...it helps me.

Our next appointment isn't until mid October. So hard to wait this long between appointments isn't it? We will have another ultrasound done at that time so we will be able to see her/him again. They told us to bring a recordable CD/DVD and they will tape the ultrasound for us to take home. I am hoping that they will record the heartbeat on it too. I know that some of you have done that already. Do you watch it all the time? Bore friends and family? I think I would rather watch that than anything else out there! We should also be able to find out the sex of the baby during that time, assuming that we can get the right angle for viewing.

I still haven't felt the baby move. I just can't wait for that. It will be so reassuring to me to know that he/she is okay. Congratulations kvgsmom on feeling that already!

And Renee, you are having a boy? Congratulations! How exciting! When did you find out? Have you picked out a name yet?

I realize that we tend to be a very quiet group, but my goodness it has been a long time. Is it because we are all just coasting along now, nothing to report or chat about? I would love to know more about what you guys are feeling/experiencing. Who has felt the baby/babies yet? Tell me how that feels! Is it just beyond explanation, or is it more like... "it-just-feels-right"? By now most of us in the February thread should be showing, kicking, and know the gender...let's talk!

And qbndaddy...where are you? Still haunting the site?

I'm sorry I haven't been on here in a while but its been kinda slow so I chat more frequently on another pregnant board.. That one is SUPER DUPER busy so its really hard to keep up!

Anyways.. Thanks again for the congrats on the baby boy Kathi !! We found out when we were 16 weeks and 3 days I think.. We had another U/S when I was 18 weeks and they confirmed it was a baby boy!

Today I am 21 weeks and 4 days.. and so so excited! We rented a doppler from babybeats.com so we hear the heartbeat at home when we get worried. I started feeling strong kicks and movements from him when I hit the 20 week mark and he kicks the crap out of me sometimes!

How is everyone else doing ??
Have you found out the sex ?? feeling the baby move now ??

hai it is a long time posting here. How are you all. We are getting closer to our due dates. Had an appointment with the doctor last week. Was told that i can expect my delivery by mid of jan. Some days the kids are active and some days it is very quiet. Asked the doctor about it . They say it is normal. How do you guys feel?Bit worried. Hope everyone is busy. This group seem to be a very quiet one. bye
