hello everyone, i am trying to catch up with everyone, but if i do forget someone, please forgive me :)

Angie: yes, i am a vegetarian and have been one for almost 20 years, wow, i guess, i must be getting old here. i am so glad your af arrived, now you are ready for the next step.

Becky: congrats on your new job, well done, especially since you don't have to start till next year.

Nims: thanks for asking. my treatment is going okay, i am just really concerned they will find something tomorrow when i have to go back for my baseline ultrasound and i won't be able to start stims this weekend. so i try not to think too much about it. good luck and much baby dust, not long until your test date now. how are you doing? i am not sure about the cell stage at a certain transfer date, but if the doc said they were excellent, they were. don't worry too much and a few cramps i believe are normal also.

Carolyn: i know these reality shows can really get you hooked. i'll keep everything crossed for you for both Mondays, i know this will be your time ... it's almost christmas, right? i just read your other posting on sunday: what do you mean by "I went to the loo", not sure what that means :(

Jayne: hang in there, your wait is almost over and you'll soon see a beautiful baby, perhaps even two. i am so excited for you.

Rachel: i don't understand how anyone can tell you something like that, but i know, that every pregnant woman is beautiful, it comes from the inside!!!! i am sorry you had to listen to that, but i am happy for you that you got yourself a little makeover.

Su: good girl, i should read a book on positive thinking as well, what's the name of the book, perhaps i should get it as well. much baby dust to you, almost testing time :D

Jen: i love your post, especially the three guys pulling down their pants. well done!!! i just read your latest post: what a great husband, i am so happy for you. i can understand your emotions though of wanting your own baby, we are also thinking about adoption and have a two day work shop next month that we should attend, but i am still hoping that my current ivf cycle is going to work out. in the end though you will love that baby the same, no matter where it came from. okay, i did not experience that since i have not adopted, but i have heard it from so many people. and just imagine how you can change that baby's life and give it a much better one. there are so many babies out there that need a loving home, and your's will be one of them. you'll be a great mom no matter what. hope you'll feel better soon.

Jen B: i am so glad you are feeling better and having a good time out.

pequele: don't worry about writing a long post, i know, when i had my last m/c at 9 weeks i could not do anything for a very long time. i am sending many hugs.

shantala: yeah, i am so excited for you to find out. i did also, i could not have waited the whole nine months.

Hi Ladies :D

Will start with personals:

Steph Aw jeeze hun - i dont know what to say! I am so sorry for what u are going thru right now. I know u have heard this a thousand times already, but we are here for u - when u want to rant and scream and cry - we are here and will always be here - nothing i say right now will make this any better for u - all i can say is - Im sorry hun - big hugs to you XX

Carolyn: Aw hun - Im gonna say summmit which may have u screaming at the puter - but are u sure its ur AF? Its awful early, if its always been day 11 for u - then surley theres some hope that it cud be 'the other' going on? Have u heard back from the clinic? Have u had any more spotting? ARE U OK? I really hope that this is 'the other' and that u will get some good news soon - imm thinking about u, hang in there hun, this might not be the repeat movie - hopefully it will have a different ending.. XX

Jen1d I know what u mean about not being able to afford any more goes - and ive only ever paid it once! I suppose i could re-mortgage, i could get a loan, i know people out there would do almost anything - but i dont want to get into debt - if i have a child i will want to be in a stable enviroment where i can bring it up and not have to worry about paying the debt off that i run up trying for it (that might sound selfish to some, but ive been in debt with 2 kids - single parent - i know what its like) sooooooo - doing it the way u are doing is right for you. You have to eventually sit back and take a reality check - u never know what is around the corner - u may get a wonderful adopted baby and poof - u might get pregnant - who knows, but u know u have given it ur bestest shot, and only u and DH can decide wot and where to go next. I dunno - maybe i just think too much sometimems lol - just tell me shut up and i'll get the message lol xxx

Shantala: Well Well - how the devil are u hun? Long time no hear from - glad to see all is going well, i cant beleive how far u have come already - April will soon be here before u know it - i suppose with it being xmas, that will kinda take ur mind off things and move things along. Oooo just think this time next year, u will be excited for baby's first xmas - actually YOU ALL WILL BE - that is in my wish for Santa this year :D DH is home, got home on Sat morning thank god - i didnt realise how much i had missed him untill he crawled into bed beside me   hehe xx

Rachel: Sounds like growing pains to me - its the baby trying to make a bit more room in ur belly - if u hadnt have lost so much weight before u got preggers, it would have more to play with now haha! Hope all is well with u, when are u posting more pics on myspace so i can see ur fat belly  same goes for u too Shantala - fed up of seeing ur beautiful wedding ones now (only kidding, u just make me sick cos ur so gawjuss lol) Rachel - keep smiling at ur job, u will soon be on maternity leave and lapping it up lol xxx

ICSI: I thought i was mad but u deff take the biscuit lol, ur not switched on lol. We do have all the trimmmings here, i think it gets more and more every year - people decorate outside with lights etc, but nothing like the States - well like wot ive seen on the tv anyway (Home alone etc lol) i do love christmas, but now the kids are older, its not the same, for a start i cant threaten them that Santa wont come cos they are misbehaving LOL, or that if they dont go to bed early, Santa doesnt call, and leaving the mmince pies and the carrots for Ruldolph and Santa just doesnt have the same effect anymore lol  Glad ur one step closer to ur tmt, it will soon be u celebrating up there on the preggers list :D xx

JenB: You sounded like u had a ball this weekend, and im so glad u did - u deserve it. Its nice to let our hair down now and again - Im glad ur getting back to ur usual self, its nice to hear u sounding more positive :D hugs xx

Nims/Jackie: Stop right there (thank u very much, as the spice girls once said) arghhhhh the spic girls - ive lost the plot lol. Anyway, back to u missey - stop u worrying about the cell stage of ur wee ones, i know a lot of other women who had a 2cell (remember Ems 1971) well she has a baby girl now, born in October - her embryos were 4cell (low grading) and a 2cell (good grading) who knows which one clung on, who cares - it did and thats all that matters. Your embies were at a good stage, and they need u to be positive right now - so feet up, enjoy being PUPO and look fwd to being in for the long haul xxx

Su: Think i could do with one of ur relaxation tapes lol, sounds like its having a really positive effect on u - hang on in there, it wont be much longer :D

Hello and XXXXXXXXXXX for everyone else - im sure u can share those out between u all lol - No news with me ladies - DH is home :D :D and busy at work. Rung the clinic to find out where i am on the list - jeeze im still at 42  so they reckon it will be July-Aug before i start. It will be my 40th in Aug - life begins an all that
Right ladies, i better go, DH will be home shortly and i have to get the tea on ... and trinnie and suzannah is on, could do with some tips lol

Love as always,

Becky Xxxx

Steph hun - I am so sorry about your scan. Big hugs for you and DH.

Jen1d - I can't imagine the pain you going through at the moment and how you come to terms with knowning that you can't ever have your own child. You have 2 snow babies waiting to come home and how can the adoption process not work....your a loving mother, who can provide a baby a wonderful home and life.

Your DH is also a angel.

Pumma - hey not long now til you start stims - i'm sure the scan will be fine and you'll be off before you know it.

Hey Moma (Shantala) - omg I can't wait to hear the sex..... have you a bump yet??

Rachel - (mama) how are you - hope your feeling much better and the hair do is still lookin' good. :D

ICSI - duh turkey this week then!! Yep we put up trees and trimmings but don't go all out mad as you guys over there (well some do!!) My parents have a house in florida and I love going over there at this time of year, all the gardens are really decked out in lights, sleighs, reindeer etc and it is so pretty. I've got my tree (going for black this year), having purple and turquoise bubbles which match my table bits, got the cards, got the wrapping paper (which might i add also goes with the colour theme) but no presents....something isn't quite right there is it!! Oh, yes, I know bit too organised with my colours......drives my DH mad

JB - so this is the girl that didn't really want to go out then eh!!! Sounds like your weekend cleared away a few dark clouds. Glad you had such a lovely one.

Carolyn - still thinking of you and hope that all is ok

So had a mega busy day today, almost forgot my situation which in some ways ok as then I'm not analysing (for which I've been slapped for!! ). Also, a colleague was in, whos partner died last week unexpected and it kinda puts some things into perspective with me that I'm lucky at least to have my DH and no matter what happens at the end of these 2ww's I know that he will be here for me, come rain or shine.

hugs to everyone

Becks - thats so funny, I read the first few words and my mind went completely to the spice girls song - think it is because they sang that song on Friday night on Children in Need!! I know, i know, I should know better shouldn't I - even on my first IVF I got a BFP on a poor quality egg.

Steph - I'm so sorry hun. I can only imagine how you must be feeling. As the others said, we're all here for you. (((((((hugs)))))))

Carolynb - hugs to you too. Any word from IM yet?

Jenb - Sounds like you had a great weekend. Its good to hear you're feeling more like yourself.

ICSI - I can't believe you've put up decs already  They've only just turned on the lights in the town centres here. I don't put mine up til a week before xmas. I've kind of fizzled out on the xmas shopping - just done the children 'cos that's the fun bit and got stuck for ideas for the adults.

Pumma - The book is 'The Secret' by Rhonda Byrne. It's not exactly an exciting read :? but interesting concept. Good luck for your scan tomorrow. I'm sure it'll be fine

Becky and Jen1d - I'm with you on the money. I'm paying for this with some inheritance money and it scares me how quickly its disappearing. Don't know what I'll do when the money's gone :?

Wishfull - welcome back from your hols. Sounds like you had a fab time

nimble - how you doing? nearly half-way

I've been having lots of weird twinges and niggly pains for a few days but trying not to think about it too much. Still feeling really positive.
I've been writing this post for about 45 mins now - why? 'cos I'm a celebrity's on and I keep getting distracted. Goona go and watch the rest now.
Love to all

Hi ladies,

Steph, i am so sorry, big hugs to you. We are all here for you whn you are ready. take care and rest up.

Wishful, your holiday sounds fab, glad your all de stressed and ready to go again soon. My scan is on Monday, going crazy waiting convinced something will have gone wrong, nuts i know.

Pumma, good luck tomorrow with your scan i'm sure everything will be fine, and you'll be injecting tomorrow night. By the way the loo is the bathroom(toilet).

Nimble, you sound as crazy as me, you know that they were good quality. it could all have been down to the time of day and they will have become 6 cell later that day in your tummy. Now keep that PMA going its going to work this time. Hugs.

jenbabes, glad you went out and enjoyed yourself, sounds like you've turned a corner and although your not ready yet, by the time the new year comes you'll be chomping at the bit to go again.

Jen1, I so feel for you your having such a s**t time at the moment. From what you said, you still have an NHS treatment to come? Also have you had all the auto immune/clotting/chromosone tests done here? as these aren't always done initially. Sorry to ramble not sure if you've said, but are your eggs bad quality or did you move on to donor due to the amount of failed cycles? could you try PGD testing or another clinic over here. Just trying to find other options for you. sorry if i upset you. Big hugs.

Becky, As your heading towards the big 40, will you not be bumped up the list, or is this not done due to you already having kids? just i would get my treatment once i hit 39 1/2 regardless of the fact they have suspended treatments in my area. Worth asking? Glad DH made it back!!

Shantala, wow finding ouyt what your having soon, and nearly half way there too!! By the way you need to have the baby 2 days early on the 24th as thats my birthday.

rachel, hope the colds gone, and also hope you bopped the work collegue on the nose for that comment, we all know there are good days and bad days through pregnancy, and you had a cold. don't take it to heart.

Su, hope your hanging in there, keep up that PMA, still waiting for you all to join me.

Carolyn, Hope your ok, and its not all over for you, Big hugs, and take it easy. rest up and stuff work this is more important.

Sorry to anyone i've missed but this is a maga post now so i'd better go.

As for me i'm doing ok, going stir crazy waiting for the scan and i've had a few wierd dreams too. but funny story today, was going for my hair cutting, got to the hairdressers to find all the roads blocked by police cars, someone had walked into the police station with 2 hand grenades!!, major alert, bomb sqaud on way and my hairdressers being evacuated, its opposite the police station, so no haircut for me. But it was funny as there were people in there with colour on and they had to rinse it off and were sent out on there way with wet hair in this weather.

Anyway, better go.Hugs to all

jayne and su - we must have posted at the same time! lol

wow, 3 posts for me in the same day!

su - i've heard about the secret. cookholmes on the site (denise) recommended this (i believe its a book as well as a film) and actually sent me the DVD (all the way from the US, she's so sweet) but i couldnt play it on here for some reason. she then fell pregnant with twins on an FET.

jayne - oh wow, police, bomb squad....love all the action. and how funny about all the half done people....lol. i got VERY vivid dreams in the first few weeks of my BFP so i'm sure you'll be fine. remember your beta is also extremely high so the chances are you have one strong lil one in there or maybe even two! oh, and no problem....on the 24th it will come. i've told the bump! lol....when are you due?

Shantala - yes it was somewhere on here I heard about The Secret. I'd love to see the film too (might be easier going than the book  ). US DVD's often don't play here - you need region 2 I think. They do it on amazon so I might get it.

Hi ladies, well its my wedding anniversary, and was looking forward to a day of shopping and dinner out with DH, to wake up and find i have brown discharge on my liner and when i wipe. Called the clinic, and they said its quite common but to rest up and take it easy today, if i get pain or colour change to let them know. So bang goes the day out and i'm vegging on the sofa.

To all you ladies accross the pond enjoy thanksgiving.
