Steph - hope that you're feeling a wee bit better this weekend and i mean physically rather then mentally as i know that takes time.

Good that you've come to a decision about the job too - there is never an easy or straight answer - i've put off changing jobs for the last couple of years on the basis of what if.........and the what if never occurred. You just have weigh up all the positives and negatives of changing and the implications which sounds like you have.

Hey Su, well sorry haven't been around much this weekend either have I!!
How are you feeling - not long to go for you hun til you see that BFP.

have you resisted those sticks so far???

Jayne hang in there - the scan will be here soon and your worries will be put to bed.

jen1d hope you have been studying hard this weekend

Guess everyone else is away this weekend although I know its a sad weekend too given Carolyn's news.

Not much from me, had a girlie night in london last night and a lovely long pub lunch today and now just counting the days til Friday. Think the PMA is sliding a bit, but may be just preparing myself for the worse.

Hugs Nims xx

angel beckster shants and rachel much love x x x much love to everyone else sorry not all of you got personals too many names xx x x

I had a good weekend with snow ( just a dusting but the dog loved it and went mad in it) and buying Christmassy things. I didnt really feel like it but i love spendingmoney so hey ho!!! Christmas here we go!!!!
sat and sun were spent on long walks talks and a night full of booze, tears cuddling and   ...DH spoke a lot about his heartache at going through all this and supporting me ( in ivf DE an my Multiple sclerosis) as well as having such a stressy job. Sunds like my lad is burnt out :( and all i want is to go on with 2 more tmt ( 1 fresh and our frosties cycle) ar'nt i a cow being so pushy when he is hurting so much. anyway the upshot is we will have 1 more go...just awaiting on info from IM about next steps for tests, and issue of our 2FET vs a new fresh.so really dont have a clue about when or what cycle we will be doing.
part of me just wants to say F it and give up the whole shezbang...but know in my heart i will regeret it ever moment for the rest of my life. I am lucky to have 1 more chance for a BFP...as the other roads are closed for us. ( adoption/ fostering a negative as we are too old or the fact that i i have MS will be an issue)
I asked DH if i could breed dogs then and he just  rolled his eyes ...LOL

we will get through this hard time and maybe a BFP or maybe not...
as DH said sometime you have to stop before your heart and health suffer too much...i totally get his point even tho it hurts like hell.

sorry about all the ending morbid talk girls ...know its difficult for those in the mist of 2ww or starting new cycle ... hope you are all aok with all this discussion. pease tell me if you not x xxx i dont wann brin anyone down x x

love to ya all

Hi Jen

Glad you had a break although a bit stressful with all the ivf discussions---we cant ever escape it eh. Sounds like you are a bit mixed up???

Dont know why you think you are to old for adoption, its not the case. Take a read of the BAAF site on the web, you can be any age now.

Yep cold was also just in the head area and most of it gone now, thankfully---just in time for work yyiiipppeeee

Ok off to sudy

Ladies, Ladies, Ladies!!!! My-my-my we sure have been a busy group!!! I hate being out of the action for so many days!!!! :x I just can't handle the 20 minute wait times for pages to load at home because we only have dial up internet :? :? :?

(for you ladies across the pond --- the friday after thanksgiving is "the biggest shopping day of the year" as it is the 1st official holiday shopping day and ALL THE STORES have really great deals ---- but usually only limited quantities....so as the saying goes "the early bird gets the worm"!!!) anyway --- it was great fun....stood in line for more time than anything - but managed to get our hands on everything on our list!!! and i think we actually got all our shopping done for our boys!!! Angie you are INSANE!!! 4am!!!!CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY...oh wait we knew that already!!! Hey what BCP are you on...I have Apri tabs I got thinking I was going to wait til May, but now I'm not so I have a pack hanging out...granted I can just use them later I just had no idea what kind of pills you guys use getting ready for IVF. AND you never told me are you a Mich fan or OSU? Or did I have my head so far up my arse the last week that I didn't even notice you answer me??? I went to Purdue :)

Carolyn- how are you doing? I'm so sorry for your news :( I'd shed a tear for you, but I honestly think I used all mine up last week. I start to cry and my eyes do NOTHING, my body just convulses. I never thought that was possible.

Nimbie and Su- BFP!!! BFP!!!! not long now!!!

To everyone else just a quick hi- I got up early so I could call the doc to see if these pains were "normal". They think that it is either just the ovary cyst that is left from where I O'd and then the corpus luteum was sustaining the pregnancy. Either that or it could be the ligaments stretched and just trying to get back into place from when my uterus was growing. Oh sure why after the stupid cramping is done should I have no pain....no constant reminders that just a week ago I had a little bean (sort of) in there! Stupid body!!! Probably will be even more stupid since I want to try again pretty much right away (after my 1st "normal" AF)...yeh normal will show up on a cold day in hell with my luck!

Jenbabes, sounds like you had a very emotional weekend, glad you shared with us thats what we are here for and our poor DH have no one to share with. Sounds like you have a bit of a plan, but i do agree with you, that at some point we have to draw a line under it and move on, as our lives are almost in limbo waiting and praying that the miracle will happen. I hope it works for you next time, big hugs

OMG JAYNE!!!!!!!!! twins ---- how FABULOUS :D :D couldn't be more thrilled for ya

steph --- GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! except - to be honest w/ you, i'm not all that "passionate" about it......i enjoy watching football (duh - i live w/ 3 boys!!!! and both of my teenagers play) --- i went to western michigan university & central michigan for my graduate.....so i'm pretty much a "route for the home team" kind of gal.....now hockey ----- RED WINGS FAN THRU-AND-THRU!!!!!!!!!!!! in fact - am buying my guys (and me of course) tix as part of christmas gift!!!!! can i just tell you that sound GREAT???????????? all things considering of course.......i totally see/hear you in "me" ---- like the day we decided on our "plan" of what we'd do next.....eventhough it was months away (got my bfn in august and decided to wait til after holidays for round 2) ---- eventhough months away, was suddenly very excited about "next time"!!!! oohh-ooh-oooh, our pee stick manufacturers won't be going out of business afterall!! pills..........they've got me on loestrin -- which, until this round - i had never heard of before!!! doc's office actually gave me "sample packs" of those - i'll be on 1 full pack, skipping what would be normal AF week/pills and going directly into new pack for about a week (thus allowing them to manipulate my cycle around THEIR schedule -- gotta love it  ).........stop taking christmas day, wait for af to arrive and set appt for baseline scan..........and find out from there when i'll start stimming!!! 8) MAYBE WE'LL BE ABLE TO CYCLE TOGETHER!!!!! any idea on when your af is (maybe) supposed to arrive????

Jayne - TWINS  OMG Congratulations!

Angie - Good to see you back :) I can't believe you thought us crazy starting christmas shopping early and there you are shopping at 4am and getting it all wrapped and cards written already  I've nearly finished the shopping but haven't even bought a card yet, well except for my mum's and sister's birthday cards. How inconsiderate can you get to have birthday's in december :D

Steph - Good on you for deciding to try again. I can understand how frustrating it is to be waiting for you normal cycle to return but just think that its given you body time to recover fully and be in the best condition for next time.

Jenb - Sounds like a heavy weekend but probably much needed. Sometimes it easier to discuss things when you're away from home

Hi to everyone else :)
As for me, I managed to hang on and haven't poas :D Am feeling really nervous now. Felt like AF was coming this morning so took some paracetamol so I didn't keep being reminded all day - no sign of any spotting yet though but then I haven't spotted til test day on last 2 cycles anyway. Really optimistic one minute then totally negative the next. Oh well, onlya few hours to go. I'll be poas in the morning so will let you know. Thanks for all you good wishes, they've really helped to keep me going.
