Hello! Well, it is amazing how much difference a day can make. I went back in for u/s and b/w and now have follicles over 20 mm and it looks like they will be able to retrieve over 12 of them or more. Many of the 14's became 17's and the 10's are becoming 13's...and well, I guess it all looks good. We trigger tonight! I don't know about you guys but the stress of all of this is starting to get to me. I stayed up most of the night just thinking about everything. I also am starting to feel sore in my stomach and have hearburn. I am just really nervous. I am glad we have each other through all of this!!! :) It helps to have you all to talk to so much.

Hope everyone is hanging in there!!!

Hi girls,
I was wondering if I can still join your group?
My History-
Me 30- Fibroids, Endo and bad egg quality
DH 35- Possible sperm morphology problem
3 IUI's all BFN
1 IVF BFN
trying for the last time.
I have been on repronex, follistim and lupron and trigger with ovidrel tonight. Possible 8 eggs, which has been a disappointment since during my last IVF I had 14 eggs which lead to only 1 good embryo. Hoping for a miracle this time. My ER is on wed 11/28. I think I am almost in the same time frame as you girls.

Wish you all the best.

tinaO: That is GREAT news! It's amazing how it all works, right? I have had horrible heartburn too! I was up last night with it. Also, I feel pressure in my stomach, but it's not too bad. My boobs, though, are another issue! They are soooooo sore!

Hi Ladies!
I just got the call that I am triggering tonight. Yahoo! I won't take the injection until 3 AM though and won't have the ER until 3 PM on Wednesday. They said I'll probably be starving by then so I should plan on eating/drinking just before midnight on Tuesday. I am definitely going to try to sleep in to avoid the temptation of food or water on Wednesday morning.

Good luck tomorrow 4ourbaby!

Welcome Jane Doe!

tinaO, MGB, maybe dancinnancy, maybe jane doe, I'll be joining you for ER on Wednesday!

I agree with tinaO, I am definitely getting stressed by this whole thing. Although, right now I am so excited to have the dates finally set. They said they will test me 17 days after ER. Hopefully we will see lots of BFPs in mid December!

Hi ladies,

I test on Tuesday (12/3) at 8:30....this is killing me.

Just got a call from the RE & we have 1 Blastocyst frozen so thats good, but it kind of makes me nervous...it makes you wonder, why did the other 2 stop growing???

Has anyone heard of women testing early on their own...I know we aren't supposed too...but, ehhhhh.

babY0807 - has the RE called yet to tell you how everyone looks?

Good luck to all my ladies (tinaO, 4ourbaby,itsgottawork, MGB aka MGD :), maybe dancinnancy, maybe jane doe) going in for ER this week :) - praying for big eggs!!!!!!

Thinking about everyone!

Thank you all for welcoming me!!!

Itsgottawork- I agree with you about sleeping-in to avoid the temptation of eating or drinking, I tried that the last time.

LAIVF- During my last IVF, the nurse had told me that it is common for ladies to try home pregnancy test on the 12th or the 13t day after ER but whatever be the results blood pregnancy test is the most accurate which was scheduled for me on the 14th day after ER.

UPDATE: I got a call from RE that I trigger tonight at 7:30PM and ER on wed at 6:30AM.

Wishing everyone lotsa good eggs, embryos and a BFP!!!

Hi Everyone!
I am just checking in to see how everyone's triggers are going?
We did ours at 3:00 AM this morning. I prepared it and DH stuck it in. I think it was probably harder on him than me. I don't think I'd want to give anyone these shots. That needle is big! I like sub-cutaneous MUCH better! DH did a great job. He was cute and I think he was trying to make himself feel better. He kept saying, this is probably the worst one because you have to mix and stuff. The others won't be so bad, right? All I could think of was 4ourbaby's quote: "The progesterone shot will be the shot that all other shots will be measured against!" I kept that comment to myself though and said the first one is probably the worst because you don't even know what to expect.

I hope all is going well for 4ourbaby today! And that tomorrow's ERs go well too!

LAIVF - The nurses recommended not testing but said if I did, to make sure I didn't do it until at least 10 days after the trigger. Since they don't test until 17 days post ER, I have a feeling I'll be testing early because that seems like a long time to wait. I know the blood test will be the most accurate but I don't know if I can hold out. Good luck and let us know what you decide to do.

Good luck to everyone!!!

My first day on Lupron!

Post by Eravic »

Hi Ladies,
This is the first time I ever joined anthing like this and I needed to speak to someone cause sometimes you really can't speak to a family member or good friend only becuase sometimes people just don't understand.
I just started my first lupron injection this morning. It was wierd, I felt a little bit of pain in my stomach. Has anyone felt this? I had 2 IUI. I got pregnant with the first but miscarried at 8 weeks :( . then no luck with the second IUI. So I decided to do IVF.

Ok ladies, we are almost there! Today has been a rough day for me. I just feel lousy and that flippin trigger shot last night has left a lasting impression on me. Holy Cow! I don't know if my husband hit it a little too hard, but I am very, very sore today. :(

LAIVF - Don't do the evil HPT!! Just say NO!!! Try as much as you can to wait. Those things are evil!!! You just never know what you are going to get with one of those. My recommendation is to wait. Of course, I will be asking the same question you are in about 10 days or so!!! :D

Itsgottawork - Our DH's sound a lot alike! My poor DH stresses so much over the shots and just hates hurting me. He was so nervous about the shot and I almost felt sorry for him. Of course, then I remembered that all is has to do tomorrow is "you know what" whereas I clearly have a lot more on my agenda. :D :D :D GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR ER!!! :D

4ourbaby - how are you??? How did everything go?? We are all thinking about you!! You seemed to think the trigger shot wasn't so bad - I must just be a sissy!! :)

Jane/Eravic - Hi there! Welcome to all of our craziness! Glad you can join us in all these games!

Eravic - Yep, the shots are a little weird at first and take some getting used to...did you do them with your IUI's? The Lupron stings a little, but you will get used to that and thankfully there is such little medicine, that it goes very quickly in and out!! In the blink of an eye it is all over!

MBG - Good luck tomorrow if you check in before your ER!!! :D

Ok, I am off to rest. I wish everyone the very best tomorrow that are going in for ER!!!

Hi Girls,

I am so groggy! Everything seemed to go pretty well today. They retrieved 21 eggs  So I feel pretty good about that since they wanted less than 28 but 14 or more :D I have pretty much been sleeping all day. I had some cramping when they woke me up and the nurses said that was normal. They got worse during the day and I took tylenol when I got home. But now they are subsiding. It definitely feels better to lay down and try to sleep it all off!

I have to call the doctor at 9am tomorrow to find out how many fertilized and when the transfer will be. We are hoping for lots of fertilization and a 5 day transfer!!

tinaO: I don't know how long after that trigger shot I posted...I was so achy after a while! You aren't alone in your sissiness

itsgottawork: I'm not sure I've ever been quoted before! That made me laugh out loud! Thanks for thinking of me!

MBG, tinaO, itsgottawork, dancinnancy, Jane Doe: GOOD LUCK ON YOUR ERs!!! We will all be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts along!

I hope I didn't leave anyone out. My head isn't yet clear! That's my story and I'm sticking to it

Love, hugs & prayers xoxoxoxo

Hey girls!
Big day today for lots of us! I go Friday for ER! My u/s this morning showed 20 to 25 mature eggs! Here's hoping for a few high quality ones! Still really concerned about OHSS - they gave me today a list of symptoms to look out for & they said IF that happens it would most likely happen 5-7 days after the trigger shot. Needless to say, I'm a little nervous about the possiblity of that.

I trigger at 8:30 tonight, HCG, with a sub cutaneous needle - thank God!
