Maybe they will do the betas when you have the BFP...that is what my clinic does. They don't bother otherwise. Tell them your friends here demand it so your mind can be at ease!!!

Congrats!!!!!

Su: congratulations, congratulations, congratulations!!!!! well done!

Steph: i lived in the North Bay and went to school at Cal, even though I did consider Davis for my undergraduate work. I loved my time out there, my in-laws are still there, so I do get to go once in a while. Now, however, ivf is eating up all my savings :(

Hi gang

Lara - You will be fine, you have a fighter in there.

Su - Image

Still no application form from the s/w, so just emailed her and she is sending another out first class. Makes me mad, this is the first stage and she cant even get that right

Got an appointment next Wed with my consultant at the hospital to discuss the results of my op. She will just say that i am fine, there is nothing wrong and i have to keep tryng  Will ask her for the next £20.000 then eh.

Thinking of you all, will try and pop back later but have to study as i have my class tomorrow.

Love Jen x

silly girl...boxing has nothing to do with the sport of pummling your opponent in the head with all force....noooo they box up their Christmas cheer and put it all away...there is so much crap that I guess they need to dedicate the day to putting it away :) Canada celebrates it, hockey is Canadian, we love hockey so we should celebrate it, too. Just like here though, the sales that day are insane...we just have no originality and call it the day after Christmas :)

yeh I still can't get over the DS thing :( the nerve of the guy!

Rachel- nothing is wrong with baby girl!!! If they were that worried you wouldn't have been sent home and they wouldn't be telling you to come back in a week!!! They just didn't get a good view because like all girls, she know's she is right and she knows she was comfy where she was and no amount of prodding from the doc was gonna get her to budge for a better peek! In this past week she has probably moved and they will have a better angle to see all that glorious heart beatin away!!

hi to everyone else on this thread Image

We have heard back from IM and under Spanish Law we cant do a frah cycle until we have used our frosties...so thats that then...we will be doing a FET after we have a hyteroscopy doppler and immune tets done. Dont really need the immune tests but as its our last cycle we want to cross all the T's and dot all the i's so we have no regrets ...or say 'i wish we had had so and so a test done"
DH has had enough ( i knew this before we went to IM) and just shut out and denied his feelings ...so this time i gotta listen and take it all into consideration. after this FET no more ivf or DE cycles and bye bye any more babies...trying to buld some Faith and Hope for FET. I have never done one ...jaynes recent BFP ( and twins at that) does give me hope though b ut i dont believe that it will work for me. Will be working on that thought to change it to a positive one over the next few months...
for now we are focusing on my Sisiter coming this weekend and then i have a week in Glasgow. Then over Christmas we vist family and have friends staying New Year,.. will focus on tests in Jan feb and FET march -ish...

love to ya all and thanks for listening to this long winded post :? if you've hung in all the way WELL DONE and thanks x x x

Hi Jen- I know it sucks. I still have my watery eye moments. I see EVERYTHING out there baby related...tv story lines, all the Christmas toys for baby, people at work! I can't stand it! I found the box on other sites I am on...I'm lucky though...some people have MANY of them in the bye-line, some lost them very late :( It was my first baby, I hate calling it and it, but I haven't a clue boy or girl :( I hate that! I was planning on waiting to try again til after I change jobs in May...this past week I said F#$% that! A baby is more important to me than a job! I'm on a mission! :) I have 1 more vial of DS left, but I only bought 3 originally and I feel like cycle #1 was really a bust. That leaves me with just 1 left from this donor. So yesterday I bought 2 more so I have 3 tries with this one....I'm really attached! Doc said as soon as I get AF I can begin again. They say it can be anywhere between 4-6 weeks after she'll show up....so all I want for Christmas is AF!!!

I don't mind if we are bump buddies just a few months off :) I love you guys here...this is the best board I belong to!

JenB, I'm so glad that you and DH have talked things through and made a decision. I do so hope that this is your time and that you have some fab news for us in March after your FET. You are totally right about going through the tests. You don't want to leave anything to chance. Best of luck. Hang on in there.

Lara - The scan will be fine. Don't worry too much. The naughty little girl is probably playing hide and seek with you.

Took my first injection today. We've started tmt finally..............!!!!!!! Not feeling too great though. AF is here with a vengeance and feel so crap and drained out. My stomach cramps are so bad I can't can't even walk without doubling over. Going to bed soon.

jenbabes, oh hun, i so feel for you. But an FET will not be much different to the DE cycle you've just done apart from them defrosting the eggs this time. And the beauty of an FET is those emb ies are THE best as they had to survive the thaw. remember i have had a positive every FET i have done. So get that PMA up there.

Lara, don't worry, if the doc was worried he would have carried on there and then, just look at the bonus of an extra scan. Yes we are excited, although its also double the cost!!! but we will be complete in one go and with my age thats a bonus.

Su, any news from your clinic yet? hope your taking it easy these first few weeks are critical.

Jen1d, hope studyings not too bad, good luck at the docs this week. hope your feeling a bit better.

Steph, sounds like you are on the mend, and already planning the next go, with all my losses i always found the best medicine was to jump back on again as soon as possible, if i had a plan in place i was ok. My six month wait this year nearly killed me, as i felt in limbo waiting for all the test results.Keep up the PMA. Oh loved that you kicked your bosses ass!!

carolyn, hope your doing ok, i guess you've jumped head first into a busy working week to keep yourself occupied. Hugs to you and DH.

ICsi, congrats on starting the BCP's. not long now and we'll all be routing for you.

As for me not much going on, feeling very tired, DH keeps laughing at me as i'm yawning all the time, also very hungry at the moment, but trying not to overeat(haha).just taking each dat as it comes.
Sorry for all those i've missed.

blimely steph, cant keep up with you   Now this a dumb arse question, but is that where boxing day name comes from then??? Just another day of food and drink to me and a day off work ......yyeeeeepppppeeeee    can't be bothered with all this shopping lark.

Our village has a pram race, old tradition been going on for years. Normally about 50 or so teams and each has a theme ie pirates etc and they have to run to each pub in the village, have a drink and then onto the next one (there are about 6pubs) - they close all the local roads and everyone comes out to watch - fantastic day!!

Anyway bored you silly......

Jen b - i think when you have your FET, we should do a global chant for you and visualise your babies settling in to get them to stick and stay!! :D

ICSI - so are with the hockey / boxing day thing yet??

Jend - you kick their arse in touch girl - don't they know who they are dealing with  Good luck on yr appt Wed - hey and no harm in ever asking about £££££'s!

Rachel - everything will be fine, but can understand the worry - she will be just hiding around the corner.

Su - hows the cat!! Has it recovered yet ??? What about you, has it sunk in yet? Oh, so excited for you.... :D :D

Shantala welcome back from your weekend break - where did you go??

Angel505 not sure you can walk into a centre (well probably not around here anyway!) I know it is of no help, but seriously the injections are fine and easy to do. i was a real phobic when I started and I had pulputations, sweats, shakes when i first started.

Starting to get nervous about Friday, getting a lot of twinges especially around the ovaries also a lot of discharge (but not brown ) and apologies if anyone is having tea and its TMI :o

Right, yabbered on enough now, so shall go onto facebook and see who I can bore on there!!!
