wut..do you guys all have a life this weekend???? wow I feel like such a loser!!!! my excitement was all bout goin to the emergency room 2am Friday night during an ice storm cuz my tummy hurt soooo bad I thought maybe I had an infection (or anything else for that matter!!) I was dying it hurt so bad (I was puking thepain was that bad...sorry for tmi) to get me outta the house at that hour in that weather!!!! but come to find out all looks ok, and the doc thinks it is just a bug! A FLIPPEN BUG!!!!! I did get some kick a$$ drugs to take the pain away so I could finally sleep...but not for long as I got home at 5am and my rents were showing up by 10 to help me put up the tree and Christmas lights outside.....oh yeh and we picked the warmest day of the year to do so (AGAIN!!!!) it was -5F!!!!!! froze my tatas off! My belly is doing better though I still get stabbing pains and it feels like I got socked in the gut....yeh THAT is better!!! It has been quite a blast this weekend!!! I need to decorate the tree, laundry and clean woooo. All be for the big storm comes tonite...then I get to snow plow tomorrow! wooooo.

Oh one good thing about the ER, they did a beta on me (since the wanted to see if they missed an ectopic which I knew they didn't b/c the Monday after my procedure I was down to 191) well Friday night I was down to 41...bummer it wasn't 0 which would have meant one less needle stick but it is going down...wooo

ok off to do my stuff!! I know u r allll jealous!!!

I wouldn't call it a life....busy working yesterday and was so tired when I got home...... and this morning stayed in bed til noon and finally decided to get up and go and do some xmas shopping but came back with nada!

then been busy updating f/b to then do such a dumb arse thing - went to reply to your post and it got sent to all friends....duh they will have absolutely no idea what I was going on about - tried to delete some but gave up after a while!

Anyway cooking a roast, it isn't burnt, but boy is the oven smokin' and I can't see in the kitchen!! Think the oven may need a clean

So are you feeling any better after your adventure to the ER?? Boy, must have been some bug - did they give a through check out as you weren't feeling to great the other week after yr op?

Everyone else is quiet this weekend - whats going on??

Hi ladies,

Steph you make me laugh, your crazy. Sorry i'm same as nimble, working yesterday then out last night for friends 50th birthday. was the only one sober there and had to lie and say i had an ear infection as i like a drink and they would be suspicious!!! not telling anyone till christmas. Oh and i did not get in till after 1.30am so pretty beat today, cleaned kitchen and then went for a walk. been raining here all day, really misreble out there.

Nimble, i have all DH presents to get and just one for a friend which i will get next week, then i am done, got most on the internet, much easier than trolling the shops with all the crowds.hope your not doing too much. we need this one to hang around.

Hi to everyone out there, are you all busy christmas shopping and partying? hope you are all doing ok.

Angel and Pumma, hope your first shots were ok, your on your way congratultions.

Good grief STEPH ---- i leave you alone for the weekend and you end up with men in white coats after you???   ha, ha, ha.......sorry to hear about your trip to the ER :? but glad to hear it was really "nothing more than a bug" :P so did you end up getting the big storm you were supposed to??? In Michigan, we ended up w/ little tiny ice-ball/snow mix crap......got a couple of inches of that - it froze overnight so roads were a little slickery on way to church......but then got up to like 40 degrees (farenheit) --- so everything melted!!!! HOWEVER - the wind blew like tornado all night last night and chilled off enough that gave the roads a nice icing ---- lots of accidents being reported on all the interstates!!!

Nims --- you crack me up!!! Not by FAR am i jetting off for another weekend somewhere!!! ON THE CONTRARY MY DEAR --- i'm quite the homebody truth be told  anyway.........i do 99.99% of all my posting from work (shhhhhh - don't tell) as we only have dial up internet at home (that's all that's available where we live  )and it literally takes me a good 20 min to even GET to internet page i'm attempting to get to!!!!! so unless it's emergent (i have buds out here testing or getting results, etc) --- i don't usually get on during the weekends...... so when i say "i'm off for the weekend" --- it only means that i kinda don't have access.......(aren't ya glad you asked????)

wishfull/carolyn --- OMG  you had a "cocktail party" at your house where you dressed up in black tie ---- HOW COOL IS THAT???? although, never in a million years could i get dh agree to do something like that.......in fact, i'm mostly a jeans and sweatshirt kind of gal myself!! sounds very GLAM though!! :P :P :P

jen1 --- look at all your "ticks" --- YOU GO GIRL!!!! your time is coming my friend.......not long now!!

To all others ---- HOW ARE YOU?????????????????????????????? Hope everybody had great weekend.......mine was mostly uneventful --- we did watch "i know pronounce you chuck & larry" (dvd) and it was a hoot!!! And i got my christmas decorations all complete......pretty sad actually - that was really the extent of my "excitement"!!!

Gotta run.........have busy day ahead of me!!!

Morning ladies....I'm in between shoveling the walk and getting the plow out to do the driveway....got at least 6 inches here and more to come, but I work 2-10 today and tomorrow 8-3....I'm sure the neighbors would love me with the plow at 11pm :) Kinda sucks cuz I share a driveway with my 1 neighbor or I wouldn't even give a rat's ar$e since I have 4wd hahah. But I like my neighbor so I will help her out. Trust me...if the men in white coats show up today I'm handing them a shovel and tellin em to get to work!

Jen- you go girl on all your list ticked off!!! I haven't even THOUGHT about Christmas cards! GUH! Thanks for reminding me haha...I did get all the decorations up though....and now with all the white stuff....it's beginnin' to look a lot like Christmas........pretend I can sing ok!

Ang- yup Friday night was WICKED windy and icy and snowy...pretty much crap. All the more reason I didn't wanna go to the ER and stay snuggled at home. But it was good to go, right around the time I could have gotten an infection from the D&C....can't wait to see the bill I get from the damn BUG! It is still here to some extent...NOTHING like that night, but he is still visiting! Saturday was below zero (F) and it was of course the day we put up the Christmas lights....we like to pick the coldest day of the year to do that (2 yrs in a row!!)

Carolyn- who's Kenny?

Nims & Su- how you guys feeling???

Ok ladies- to all I missed HI!!!!!! I better get my butt outside and plow. Let the fun begin!

evening ladies,

steph - i'm so jealous that you probably get to see a white christmas...i know a pain in the arse for driving and getting to work but must look so nice when it first comes down. Aren't you just a doll, helping your neighbour like that ....yr halo must be riding high above your head

ICSI - now I understand - thought you were an international jetsetter each w/end....duh!! God, your roads must have been ice rinks - wow if it was like that over here, the country would come to a stand still - we have no idea how to cope with a little snow or ice....although suspect my dear friends up in scotland are a little more of a dab hand at it!

Jen hun, hope you are ok and you know that you can talk to us if you are having teary moments - thats what we are here for!

Well done you for finishing all your bits - you are putting us all to shame!

Carolyn - dinner wasn't burnt - just the oven needing a good clean and my DH is a star - he always does it!

The cocktail party sounded great - I love dressing up and think the guys look yummy in their DJ's.

Jayne - how are you and the bump - any signs of one yet? I brought my first pressies yesterday on the internet....woohoo !
I'm a bit like you, people are going to notice that I'm not drinking especially when I such a fish! However normally have a cunning plan with a friend who knows and gets me a coke when I ask for a vodka and coke - no one is none the wiser although it has been commented before about how much I can hold my drink

Angel/Pumma - how are the stimmings going?? Any dates for 1st scans yet?

Hope everyone else is ok

Hugs

nims -- aren't you just the sneaky little cracker for your VIRGIN "vodka & coke"!  pretty clever actually! so now you must come up w/ a really great explanation once they all know about the bump --- when they start remembering all those times you continued to drink up!! :D ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!! and for the record -- you'd be surprised at how easily you adapted to driving in the snow!! people are just retards where i live -- seems as though they FORGET how to drive from one year to the next! long as you're careful, it's really not that big of deal...

steph ---- please enlighten me.......you have your very "own" snowplow?? like on a garden tractor?? or are you talking about snow-blower???? i was all "WOW" - can't beleive she has her own snow plow!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!! i just learn SO many new things about you every single day!! either way --- hope ya got it all taken care of...... that is where i'm SO lucky -- -my dear hubby is SUCH a gem about that!! when it snows -- he's up before dawn cleaning out the drive so that i can get out of garage ok.......yep, he's a keeper!!

well -- my day at work is finally nearing an end......when i thought it never would!!! i'll be off to do my grocery shopping after work..... i've found it SO much easier to go by MYSELF as opposed to dh and/or teenage sons w/ me!!!! they put EVERYTHING in the cart!!! i'm a follow the list kind of gal!! that doesn't mean i won't occasionally throw in something extra every now and then -- but when the boys are with me, they drive me CRAZY   SO, i've learned that if i schedule it into my workday by just stopping on my way home -- which is right on way anyhow --- life is good!!! i know, you're all SO jealous of my fun-filled evening!!! (or not  )

so i left a message w/ my doc's office today asking about some of my meds.... i've found a european pharmacy/internet site that offers some of my meds for less than 1/2 the price as over here.....also - seems to be a generic available over there, but never heard/seen of one over here -- specifically referring to MENOPUR - which i need 36 vials of for next round.....i'm anxious to see if they are ok w/ using int'l pharmacy??? don't know much about it actually.....STEPH ---- is this where you tell me, NO-NO-NO!!! (?????) figured it was worth a shot!

Ok 1st of all I must say wooooo go Pats! Anyways back on topic....if you use a reputable pharmacy then you should be ok....BUT you can never be sure that international is the way to go...it is one thing to have a friend "pick up" the meds then send them to ya. Any other way it is just not sure what you will get....it would probably take far too long for you to research whether that pharmacy is reputable (ie govt regs/lic, etc)....you may wind up injecting normal saline for all you know!

Ok ok off my soap box :) Ok yeh, let me rephrase....I call it a snow plow cuz well that is what it does, but no it is really a snow blower...one I walk behind. My daddy has a snow plow though that he converts his John Deer riding mower to a snow plow in winter...that thing is a BLAST!!! granted their drive is just a bit longer than mine...we have long drives but theirs is up a hill...I'd never make it with my walk behind. My drive is flat haha... I love using theirs! I had to do it when my dad was in Iraq....or my mom would NEVER have left the house haha. Today wasn't too bad to do it cuz it wasn't windy either....I hate when it is windy and it blows in my face. I wear glasses so not only is my face a frozen popsicle, but my glasses are covered in snow and I can't see crap! Just as comical as last year when the pin from one of the tires fell out (ok ok, I pulled it out to adjust it and apparently I didn't put it back properly) and I'm walkin along and the wheel goes rolling up the drive!!! Um THAT was not supposed to happen!!! Luckily one of my other neighbors came over that night to ask a really big favor...HE ran outta gas for his snow BLOWER  and asked if he could borrow some.....suuuuuuurrreeee if u plow my drive too cuz my wheel keeps fallin off :D It was a good exchange if I say so myself hahaha

Ok I'm off to bed. Tomorrow should be a day from hell at work since the storm kept people home today! Sooooo looking forward to it!

OMG steph --- you CRACK ME UP!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P :P :P :P :P nothing better than starting the day off w/ a few laugh out loud moments!! love the bit about the retards  ........and think i laughed harder as i read your wheel falling off story!!! i can just imagine it!!  SO - tell me, how does one determine whether or not is a "legit" pharmacy?? (per your info below - or above, whichever direction you do your reading --- i prefer newest at top!!) at any rate --- hope you end up having a better day at work than you expected!

well, well, well ladies --- seems as though we are in a bit of a holding/waiting period as we don't have much chatter going on!! which - i must admit will be nice if it holds up for the week cuz i got LOADS of work to do and i just find myself so comletely addicted to you guys!!!  don't think my boss would understand if i missed my deadline :? i'll be checking in often (as always....) until we meet again my darling ladies!!!
