i'm here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm just dyin' that i don't have more than 5 min to spend out here!!!!!!!!   sucks, sucks, sucks!!

told ya i'd be reading.........i wasn't lying about that --- i just literally only have about 5 min to spare!!! are any of you familiar w/ SARBANES OXLEY???? it's basically the audit standards that were implemented as a result of the big corporations going belly-up because nobody was checking things the way they SHOULD have been.....anyway -- they are VERY strict guidelines and more importantly --- have even more strict deadlines......that being said --- i have to get thru rest of this week running around getting signatures and compiling all my back-up paperwork that supports all the testing i've been doing!!!

i'm having SERIOUS withdrawels from you guys!!! i sh*t you not --- i've been DREAMING "pequele.....beckster.....shantala....nims......" and on and on!!! I know what ALL of you look like now!!! ha, ha, ha!!! (in MY world!!!) i did want to tell you guys that i got SOME of meds ordered --- the meds that i'm getting from LONDON ---- oh i just LOVE your dialect!! i called to follow up on my order that i faxed in and had the pleasure of speaking w/ a gentleman w/ the COOLEST accent!!! sorry to all my gal-pals across the pond --- i know you probably HATE IT when people from the states carry on about your accent --- but i'm completely MESMERIZED by it!!!!!!!!!!!! the guy was saying "and you're total is" and i heard him saying "do you want to have my babies?" ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!!!!!! :P anyway --- this was the pharmacy i told you guys about last week.... where my doc said a-ok to use....."ivfmeds.com" for anybody interested!! for us stateside ladies --- it really is a SIGNIFICANT cost savings!!

Oh yeah --- and lets not forget my weekend.......i rented the dvd "KNOCKED UP" ----- loved it.....but cried my eyes out!!!!! WHAT WAS I THINKING?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a jack-ass i am for thinking i woudln't get all emotional watching a chick-flick based on a girl getting "knocked up" having a one night stand!!! SO UNFAIR!!!! why do i do this to myself????????????????

Anyway...........i really do have to run......i'm so sorry...........i PROMISE, PROMISE, PROMISE i'll be back in full action next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(and i'll still be reading.........)

****** LOVE & HUGS TO ALL *********

Rachel - You don't drive me crazy - its the doctors that do that.

ICSI - You made me laugh about the accent  I have to say I'm just as fascinated by American accents. We get so many American tv programmes and films that you get kind of immune to it but when I hear an American in person I just love it.
Hope you meet your deadlines and get back to us real soon. We miss you

Its obviously a day for scan tomorrow - I've got my first one and I'm feeling really nervous. Will let you know how it goes.
Good luck Shantala

hello everyone, my ER went really well. i got 12 follies and am waiting to hear back from the clinic when transfer will be, either friday or sunday. i'll find out tomorrow afternoon. i took a really long nap after the procedure yesterday, which was awesome. today, my tummy is a little bloated but not too much pain. i am drinking lots of water and gatorade (electrolyte drink) and am actually really positive right now about this cycle. for some reason i think this will work out. i am starting my progesterone shots tonight, in addition to taking prometrium and my other meds (antibiotics, baby aspirin, etc.). i'll keep everyone posted.

i hope everyone else is doing well, i am sorry but i have to run. we are really busy at work right now.

Hi girls

Just popping in quickly to say i am thinkig of you but been so busy just now with work etc.
Also feeling a bit yuck with af this week. Dont know what thats about as i usually never get any probs, think its maybe just my body getting back to normal after two cycles so close.

ANYWAY THE GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY.
Cant bloody believe it. Basically i asked my consultant about the hysteroscopy and she keeps saying nothing is wrong apart from blocked tubes. She did Lupus (spelling) Antibodies blood test (6 vials) this is usually done on women who continually miscarriage and it can tell you why the embryos might not be implanting---she will send me the results.I then asked about our free cycle on the NHS, thinking it was about a year away but she said they have had more funding from the Health Trust and we only have to wait 2-3 months-----nearly fainted. Then we spoke about finding a donor her so i can take advantage of the free cycle and she told me about the woman who advertised in the local paper not so long ago and got a good response. She said the clinic can do this for us putting all the info via the acu unit so its kept anonomous and they pay----nearly collapsed. THen she said the amount of eggs the lady produces are ALL ours and as its a NHS cycle, they pay for storage and for the donor---------heart attack took place. Just cant believe it and when i left the unit i burst into tears, on my own in the corridor-----fool.The only thing is that they got a good response from the donors last time but when some people see what they have to go through, they drop out but we only need about 3 or 4 so they can select a good one--------then we need on 1---there must be 1 person willing to do this??????????????So now we have our FET, then depending on the outcome of the donor advertisement, we might get some more eggs------praying already. As the donor has to have all the health tests that we did, it takes quite a few weeks so the admin girls is putting together the add as we speak and then she will send it to us and we check it, then put it in the paper as soon as possible so we can cycle in a few months.

About bloody time there was some good news.

Catch you all tomorrow and welcome to the new girls

Love Jen x

Jen What fantastic news :D Great to hear of the NHS coming up trumps for once - hopefully you won't need that cycle 'cos the FET will work but good to get the ball rolling just in case. I'm not surprised you nearly collapsed, its not everyday you hear such good news. It's about time - you deserve it. 2008 will be your year :)

SU- it is 8pm here so it is just about time for your scan!!!! Ok I know you are only like 5 hrs off so it is really only about what 1am there??? Well I'm sure you are too excited so you should still be up hahaha!!!! Will be thinking bout ya!!!

Shantala- same thing, bout time for your scan...hurry back and let us know!!!!

JEN!!!! OOOOO fantastic news!!!! 2008 is gonna be our year girl!!! I honestly don't have a clue bout the NHS procedures and what not you talk about but from what I get out of it, it all sounds WONDERFUL!!! Now I don't know much about your donor process there, but I can say they ALWAYS advertise in University papers her in the states and get TONS of interest from poor college students!!! Do you have a college near by perhaps to put the ad in too?

Pumma- 12 follies!!! I hear it is "Cheaper By the Dozen" reference to the movie hehe. Ok now I know you aren't crazy and won't put 12 back at once but I just love that remake with Steve Martin! Hope the pain stays away and let us know when transfer will be. Is that when they know how many are good for transfer. I am assuming you will freeze some to? I just don't quite get the process.

Nims- I sure hope the witch gets here before Christmas! I put in my request with Santa. Whatcha gettin' yur mom n dad :) They went to FL you should be askin them what they got you :) Mickey ears haha

Rachel- ok just as long as those antibiotics are doing their job....just call it baby brain that you mixed it all up. When I went in for my D&C the doc was telling me all this stuff, and when I came out my mom asked me questions that I know he answered, but I couldn't answer my mom...my excuse was the drugs though

Angie- you crack me up bout the accent thing! Do you wanna have my babies hahaha.I had to read that a few times cuz at first I thought he actually SAID that hahaha duh Steph, maybe AF IS on her way and my hormones are being retarded :) I have a few customers that are British and I just love talkin to them...though in person, not quite as sexy as their voice    Hey are you waving your wand while reading this???? Screw those anal retentive regulations, we need wand waving here girl! Oh and PS if you were on FACEBOOK, you'd know what some of us looked like....of course I'm really tall, skinny and beautiful in your dreams right? Ok then better not join or you may be sorely disappointed and cry for weeks...and not because your British hormones are messing with your mind!

You know despite being a day at work full of PITAs, it really didn't get my blood boiling too much. Kinda nice seeing an end in sight (just over 5 months to go!!!). Sad news though my friend/tech slipped and fell today on the crappy ice we got that blanketed everywhere overnight. She BROKE her shoulder in 2 places! UGH I guess things can be worse than not seeing AF! On a brighter note, I used my new crock pot for the first time  ....of course I christened it with not the greatest meal  ....yeh yeh yeh I have a cookbook but I decided to make some s#!t up. Oh it was edible but not as great as I thought it would be....yeh yeh yeh so you will never see me on Food Network or guest star with Rachael Ray...no worries, I'll get over it hahaha...next time I'll follow a recipe!!!

Jen1d, Congratulations, what great news, do you know on the NHS subsequent FET's are also included in the free cycle. So the more eggs you get the better.

Su and Shantala, good lick to you both today for your scans. can't wait to hear the news.

Hi to everyone else, its freezing here, frost still on the ground. can't wait to get home and cosy.

update on SIL, she has definately beat me, she had her scan this morning and she is 16 weeks 5 days, due on May 24th. DH quite upset as he feels stressed that we need to carry these babies or it will kill him.

Hi to all those ladies i've missed am thinking of you all, take care.

jayne ---- WHO CARES about your snotty little SIL??? does SHE have TWO on the way????????????? so na-na!!! :P

su --- let us know how scan goes!!!!!!!!!!!

steph ---- my good buddy steph.......oh you crack me up!!! and YES --- you are one of those tall skinny bitches that can eat anything she wants and still be perfect!!! yep --- in MY world, that's how we ALL are!!! ha, ha, ha!! for the record ------ i LOVE my crockpotS -- yes, i have several......use them ALL the time.......have one of every size/shape - you name it...........and can i just tell you that i have never followed a recipe for my crockpot sensations (or not..... :? ) that's the beauty of it --- you just throw a bunch of crap in --- set it on low for the day and wah-la!!!!! is TOTALLY like waving my wand around!!!!!!!!

jen1 --- FAB NEWS GIRLY!!!!! 8) 08 is going to be a GOOD year for us..... my wand has been in overdrive for all of us!!!

pumma --- yee-ha on 12 follies!!! i like steph's idea of having 12!!! yeah!! then you can be one of those families on TV!!!! (that i'm SO obsessed with by the way......i am SO addicted to all those "multiple" family programs!!!) he-he-he!!! ****WAND WAVING****

nims ---- OMG, you SUCK!!!! you have all your christmas shopping DONE????? ok - you really don't suck.....i'm just insanely jealous that no matter how much planning ahead i do, i can never manage to get my shit together  and i'm SUCH a "planner/organizer" --- is "my thing".........but honestly --- YOU GO GIRL!!!! have a lovey visit w/ m&d!!!!! where in florida do they stay??

ok ---- so dh calls me at work yesterday saying this friend of ours is in town unexpectedly and wants to meet for dinner/drinks - am i up for it?? HELL YEAH!!!!! is one of dh's oldest/dearest/best friends --- they are such a riot when together!!! all about "remember that time....." so we ended up having LIQUID DINNER (no food, just cocktails!!!) and then we ended up doing tequilla shots -- yep, LICK IT-SLAM IT-SUCK IT  took me back to my college days!!!!!!!!!!!! AND, as a result --- i am dragging ass today thank-you-very-much!! what was i thinking????? oh and THEN - dh asks if its "ok" if we tell friend what we're getting ready to do (round 2 IVF) --- DUH, YES YOU CAN TELL HIM!!!!! I want to shout from the rooftops, but am reserved in doing so cuz i just couldn't deal with having to shout from rooftops a bfn  but yes, we told him and he was all "cheers to you, my best/oldest friend" -- all snockered up!!! both laughing and hooping it up at the thought of having babies around again!!! :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P it was fun.......

**** LOVE & HUGS TO ALL ****
