HI Everyone,
I woke up at 3:30 AM today. I am 5dp5dt. I went to the grocery store and bought only 1 box (3pack of course) of First Response Early Detection Pregnancy Tests. I decided to take a test. I figured it would be negative. Heck, the last few cycles didn't work for me.
I can't believe it. It was positive. I got the BFP!! I am in total shock. I have no one else to tell since we kept this cycle a secret. We got sick of telling everyone it failed again. In one week I will have it confirmed.

Sometimes I think I have symptoms other times I don't........this 2ww is horrible. My mind could be making me have symptoms.... LOL......or the progesterone.....ughhhhhhh!!!!!!!. Lots of baby dust to everyone.

Lulu-thank you for asking about me....I am nervous as I have zero symtomns, in fact I feel great. This would be good news but last time I went through IVF, I had a million symtoms before my BETA so I know I am someone who reacts to pregnancy. Tomorrow is my first BETA and they will only tell me the results if I am for sure positive or for sure negative, otherwise they are waiting until my second BETA on Sunday.
Wish me luck!!!! My husband (who has been out of town for work for 3 weeks) does not know I am testing tomorrow because he is coming home on Friday. I want to suprise him if I am positive.

3 day ET yesterday - 2 very nice looking 6-cell embryos transferred. We have 3 being watched as candidates for freezing.
tennisgurl - 10 cells! Was that a 5 day ET? Or are mine just slowpokes?

I need advice please. My hpt tests are still super faint. Like its really hard to see the line without some extra bright light. Does this mean I am miscarrying? Does this mean my beta will be low or gone on monday? I am so depressed over this. Is it over for me?

I think it could mean a couple of things..One is your HCG from a shot maybe leaving your system which would give a positive first then a negative then maybe a positive again once your real HCG level rises. It is a bit early for that so I would not worry. I also heard any line is a positive no matter how faint. Again, I think you are fine. THis is why they tell us not to take those evil tests. It can mean so many things and gets us all in a panic for no reason.

Due to superstition I did not hit the "pregancy after IVF" until I had the hearbeat u/s. Then after that I was too tired to ever post : )

When I got my positve phone call from the nurse, I went out and bought a shirt for my daughter (7 months) that said.."I am a big Sister" and had my husband open it. He was in shock as I convinced him (and myself) I was not pregnant this time around. It was tons of fun!!!

I was a bigtime hpt bad girl.......lol
Anyway, I experienced the same thing....only I knew the hcg was out because I had a few neg prior.......
hpt do that and I felt the same thing......I cant tell you they are evil and not to do them because god knows I did like 30!!!!!! even now with a pos beta I am still tempted.....
