I wouldn't worry as much about the progesterone as the Beta. As long as your beta is increasing you are good. Not every clinic measures the progesterone, mine only checked it a couple days after my transfer and never again. Do you do another beta check? I had 3 and then had to wait til my sonogram to see how many were in there.
I wouldn't worry, just have to wait more for the 1st U/S. I think that is harder than the 2ww!!
Good luck,
Allison
Thanks so much for your reply..my first u/s is 12/26 wednesday....it just seems so weird that the progesterone dropped.....but your right I will try not to worry...if my re was concerned i am sure he would have increased the PIO???
I read that in early pregnancy, doctors look for a progesterone level of at least 10, and you surpass that. My progesterone level had dropped also a few weeks back from 53 to 48, then rose back to 71. As with the beta number, it seems there's a big range of normal (9-47 is the normal progesterone range during first trimester, according to that same website). Good luck!
