See, I told you Santa would pay you a visit and drop off AF. I am know that it would have been the end of your first trimester and I am sorry, but now at least you are not in limbo and you can move on to the one that will take and have a beautiful baby.

BFP's for all this new year.

Hi Ladies-

I wanted to have a quick check in to see how everyone was doing. I'm still visiting with family and am getting ready to go help Sassy get ready for her first dr's visit since her surgery... so this will be a quick one!

Pumma, honey, I'm so sorry to hear the news. Please know we'll all be thinking of you and praying for you. Hugs to you.

Steph - the witch finally showed her ugly head! That's good news. I like your new turtle ticker. :) I'm sorry it was bittersweet. I can relate :) Hang in there.

Jayne - How did your Christmas announcement go?!?! I'm looking forward to hearing the good news!

Christmas down south was good. Filled with lots of family (about 32 folks), yummy food (we have a tradition of steak for Christmas - different, but it's a good one), my mom's traditional Christmas story read-aloud, and lots of presents. Always a good time had by all. I was so grateful nothing was said accidently or even arbitrarily that would trip my tear-trigger. It know it's important this time of year and always to focus on what we DO have, rather than what we don't, but it's not always an easy thing to do - I'm sure you all can relate. ;)

Thinking of you all... :)

and Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Man I wish we celebrated boxing day! I want an extra day of holiday pay haha...not that I'd get a day off in my profession!

Yup Angie...here I am (day 2 already...wooo time is flying by!!) So basically I take my clomid for 5 days (I am supposed to do days 5-9 but I wanna do days 3-7  I wanna get MOVING!!!! They say you O about 5 to 10 days after taking clomid...last time I O'd like 8-9 days after. I go back to POAS to determine my LH surge...when I get a surge that means I am getting ready to O, I call em and I go in and have my IUI (think turkey baster  ). Then I hurry up and wait for the 2 weeks. I hope I don't O much before Jan 7 (day 14)...I work the weekend before (my crappy 11 hr shifts so going in then would be next to impossible and it would probably mean I'd miss my month  ). After ER what is your time line? Don't they hold them out for so many days then put them back? At what point do they start counting your 2ww? We should be pretty close is my guess, but you probably will still be just a few days ahead maybe???

Ok I need to get to bed. I'm starting to feel a bit like caca...I think my mommy got me sick...NOT NICE! BAD MOMMY

I got some really cute pics of Moose on my facebook page...I'm tellin ya, u need to join!

I want to hear how everyone's news went that told over the holiday!!! Where ARE you guys!!! You have a life???? No fair I want a life

Nite nite ladies!

Hi ladies,

pumma, i am so sorry, hugs to both you and DH.

jen1d, hope you enjoyed christmas some, hope work is not too stressful, do all the kids argue about the prezzies?

Steph, hey congrats on the evil AF rearing her ugly head, and off to a flying start already, many good wishes. fingers crossed.

ICSI, hope there not working you too hard, glad you enjoyed the festivities, good to hear the stimmings going well, hope you get a bumper crop this time. would be great if you got some frosties, not that your going to need them.

rachel, glad you had a good day, enjoy the quiet timewith DH as next year will be busy.
As for me had a great day, lots of nice prezzies, and everyone enjoyed dinner, DH worked very hard, kept stopping me doing stuff, then had a lovely lazy day yesterday, long lay in then a walk on the beach with a few drinks at the end of it.
telling the inlaws went great, we gave them a babygrow each that said i love grandma/grandpa, and also put a scan picture in the box, well the initial reply was they thought it was for the SIL baby!! and we said there is a picture in there as well, so they are looking at the pic and saying ooh its the baby and Dh says its not SIL baby and MIL says whos is it then? so i pipe up its ours, well shewas crying and hugging me she wouldn't let go, she was so happy, then DH said the pictures are different and they looked and said what do you mean/ and we said twins, so more hugs and tears, my dear father in law was very drunk by the end of the night, we left them at 1.30am and they stayred up until 4am celebrating. oh and we told them all about the IVf and they were great and really understanding and she even asked my Dh if there was anything they could do to help in the shop today so i did not need to come to work. i feel as though i am going to get wrapped in cotton wool.
well enough rambling form me.

Hello all!! Talked to the doc office in reference to what the next step will be if we go back day three of next cycle and there is still a large follicle/cyst there on my left ovary. The nurse asked me when I first called, did the doc that I saw put me on BCP to get rid of the cyst, since it has shown up on two US. I said no. She then called me back and said that my regular doctor said that it was too late to put me on BCP to get rid of it and now I have to wait til the next cycle and hope it is gone. If it is not, then they will start me on BCP to get rid of it and that will be another month gone that we won't get pregnant. I just have to stay positive that the cyst is gone when I go back. I have approximately 20 days left until the US. Any suggestions for natural remedies to get rid of one?

Hope everyone is doing well and had a great holiday.

hiya girls,

Hope everyone had a super christmas and hope that they got some lovely pressies - I did, but knew what mine were cos I was there when hubby brought them!!

steph, I have no life either but haven't been on here as been so tired - which is a good sign but thank god I'm not working otherwise will be napping on my desk!!!

Woohoo for AF - what a fantastic chrimbo present eh!! Just think in a few weeks you and ICSI will be in the same boat as me

ICSI - how did the scan go - did you have a bumper crop of follies?? fingers crossed for you hun and hope you have!

Pumma - really sorry about your result - we are all here for you when you are ready to face the merry go around again.

Stephjim - sorry to hear of your inadequate dr's - aarrrgghh  doesn't it make you angry that they can't get it right in the first instance - I don't know of any natural remedies but if you find any let me know, as I have a huge one on my right ovary which is playing havoc with me at the mo!!

Carolyn - hope you enjoyed bingo - I'm sure if will be fun!!!

Beachbaby - ah that is so sweet with the pressies that you did and such a fab reaction from them.

Had a scary start to the week - have a 3cm by 3cm cyst on my right ovary which started to cause major pain over the weekend, spoke to the clinic on chris eve as started to worry, so they called me in for an urgent scan to check all is ok - apparently sometimes these cysts can twist which can be dangerous when pg - anyway the cyst is still there large as life, no twisting but also not going away!! The positive side to it was got to see beanie again now measuring 12mm! :D :D :D

Not having so much as m/s but more like afternoon sickness - getting really tired and getting bad nausea but no actual sickness - hubby is pleased as means all good signs!

Also there is a shortage of cycolgest! Managd to get my DRs to write a perscription to save some money, and can i find a chemist with any in stock - nope!! Apparently there is a problem with the manufacturers and cos its christmas they are all shut and no one can find out whats going on - yeek!! Not a good time to run out!! May try that website ICSI that you have used - could you remind me what is it called? thanks ever so..

shall be back before new year........take care

nims ---- IVFMEDS.COM......based in london..........they were AWESOME to work with!! VERY prompt delivery and that's me being on THIS side of the pond!!!! thanks for all your thoughts and well wishes about my follies -- such a dear you are  PHEW --- glad to hear everything a-ok w/ that cyst!! how scary!!!

carolyn/wishful --- BINGO!!! love it!! hope you had a FAB time and won lots of great stuff!!

jayne --- awwwwwwww, nearly cried reading your news to your in laws --- so lovely........so happy for ya dear  (and take that snotty little sis-n-law --- we got TWINS!! so NA-NA!! )

steph --- had to laugh as i read you being back to days of POAS!!! :P you'll keep the manufacturers in business afterall!!! my timeline looking like ---- ER Jan. 1st or 2nd......and with any luck at all - will make it to blast stage - which translates into 5 day transfer --- which would be Jan 7 (which would COOLEST THING EVER -- is dh's birthday!!!!) making "test day" on/around Jan 18th...........how are ya feelin' anyway?? this AF any worse than before?? people told me that my 1st AF after my chem bfn "would be awful" --- but it wasn't at all!! back to my very NORMAL schedule.....hoping you're doing ok w/ getting momma's sickness and all..................give me YOUR dates --- tentative timeline --- i'm dyin' to know how close we'll be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH YEAH --- what's your facebook info, how do i find you??????? i might have access to highspeed internet this weekend (i know- what a treat, right?????) and would like to look you up and see pics!!!!

ok --- as for me.........i'm CD8.....really starting to feel the bloating (YEAH).....went for 1st us/bw yesterday ---- have 6-7'ish LOVELY SIZE follies growing in there!!! all 10-12mm in size (which is a good thing.... last go 'round - had couple/few that were smaller and never caught up - ending up w/ only 4 good follies/eggs).........although - i must admit, i'm still a little miffed as to why i'm still producing so FEW!! they've upped all my meds -- doc expects somebody my age (33), weight, blah-blah-blah around the 10-15 follie range --- so WTF???!!!!!! oh well, i know i should be thankful for the my 7 lovelies -- and i am i just wish i knew why my stupid body doesn't seem to respond the greatest to all these expensive meds!!! makes me wonder why i couldn't just use clomid cuz i actually produced 3-5 every time when i did that!!! anyway --- i'm SO not complaining, just venting......as we've all said before, nobody outside of this world REALLY understands what we're going thru.....SO - what next?? i'm on the every 2 days for us/bw schedule -- so i'll be going back on saturday morning...then again on monday.....hoping for ER on Jan2.....REALLY hoping for 5 day transfer which would be Jan 7 --- dh's birthday!!! how cool would it be to be able to say "yep - back inside momma on daddy's birthday!!" :D As i told steph --- there's a chance that i'll be able to get online this weekend......SO - i may be able to check in at some point --- keep all your fingers crossed!!! otherwise, will be after the new year --- and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO US ALL!!!

  :x  Hi girls

Well thank god the festive time is nearly over and 2008 is nearly here---------praying it brings us all good news, better than last year

BUT

it never rains but it pours for me

Xmas eve was tearful but go through it, Xmas day was ok and not as bad as i thought.
yesterday well---got got up and am full of the cold again then back to work and more hassle with one of the workers and i had to deal with it then do another sleepover.
Just as i stepped into work J rang and was a little sheepish---yep you guessed it, girlfriend is pregnant. Had to then go into work and be all fine, then dh rang and his Dad is really sick again. He has another chest infection and bronchitus. J only found out yesterday bout the pregnancy and wanted to tell me but he also said he "felt bad telling me as he feels so sorry" for me. I just seem to get sorted out a bit then get kicked in the guts again. It feels like 2 steps forward and 6 back.
Sorry girls i know i'm being a bit of a misery.

OH WHEN WILL LIFE EVERY GET BETTER??????????

ROLL ON 2008, IT CANT GET WORSE--CAN IT :?:
