steph -- my meds............ACTUALLY --- at my last us/bw appt (on MONDAY), doc decided he wanted 2 more days of ganirelix (prevent O) and my orignal order didn't have enough (because they started me on it sooner than they expected to) SO....they gave me 2 boxes from their "stash" and ordered 2 replacements (that I will pay for and take back into them to replace their stash....which for the record -- really pisses me off considering that their "stash" is clearly marked SAMPLES (so i'm sure they have a TON) AND i just forked over $8,000 for my "procedure" (this is over and above what they bill to my insurance company!!!

) so i was a bit miffed that they couldn't just "give me" (as if) 2 vials of that!!! aren't ya glad you asked?????

ok - i'm running out now to pick up meds....will be back in a bit and i'll check back in ASAP

ooo I'd be sooooo mad!!! I'd totally be like wtf! I'd point out the boxes said SAMPLES...do you still have em to take back to em?

I finished my shoveling out! Nearly 2 hours!! UGH. I even dug out the path to my oil and propane tanks cuz it is sooo deep back there....plus the neighborhood kids walk that way to school and shouldn't they be going back soon? After they hit the tanks tho the kids are S.O.L. though and can trudge the rest of the way

I laugh now but at first I freaked out a bit...I couldn't find my propane tank!!! The thing IS CHEST HIGH!!! Oh Ok I'm NOT the 5ft 11in wonder Angie dreams me up to be, but that tank is at least 4 ft high!!! It is up against a shed that is build on to my house and THAT roof is about head height on the outer edge....let's put it this way. I could stand next to the shed, and my feet were LEVEL with the roof! Can you say HOLY Poopoo BatMan! AND it is windy today, so with the blower it all blew back in my face (can you say SNOT BOOGERS!). My thighs are STILL tryin to thaw!

I'm having lunch now so if you get back from pickin up your meds let me know

Steph, have fun getting back to poas. If I could find a 'hold back the surge til Monday dance' then I'd do it, but you'll just have to use your imagination

BTW I think that snow you sent before xmas is finally due to arrive here tomorrow. Must have got caught up in the xmas post. Will let you know.

hey steph --- i'm back......ended up running into meijer's (do you have those??? is like Super Walmart or Super K where is a one stop shop --- groceries to clothing) anyway, i was in desperate need of some "spiffy" undies for my "big event" tomorrow......honestly, not sure why i care when i have to undress completely - wearing only their little hospital gown that ties in one little area --- leaving my big ol' bum exposed for all to see!!! guess i've always thought that in the event anybody ever DID decide to rifle thru my bag -- atleast they would see nice clean, cotton undies!!!! ha-ha-ha!!! i'm such a moron like that!

either way, i'm back......and yeah, i still have the boxes --- but i just hate to "buck the system" in anyway -- got that little voice in the back of my head going "don't piss 'em off ------ they'll give you bfn".........and HONESTLY - what is $70 in grand scheme of things???????????

Ang- I totally understand not causing waves...$70 isn't much...I thought u said thousands...then I'd be a bit more bitchy haha. We don't have Meijer's here but I know bout em...remember I went to Purdue. Now see maybe u shudda got a sexy BRA, cuz you don't need to take that off now do ya?

Right now I am torturing myself by watchin a Baby Story! I wanted to make choco chip cookies, but I don't have the stuff and I only have 1 egg so choco cake is out too! Maybe just choco muffins....SIGH!

steph --- first of all, something i've been meaning to ask you --- but always forget..........where does your online name "pequele" come from????? PURELY CURIOUS! mine is pretty self explanatory -- "icsi girl".....the thousands i was referring to (well - most recently anyway) is/was the amount i just paid my doc's office for all the things they say they can't (won't) bill insurance for.....the $8,000

my meds in TOTAL were about $2,000......THIS particular order of just the 2 vials of ganirelix was only $70.......and nope -- notta on the sexy bra --- they want you down to NOTHIN'!! i literally have only their gown on (for ER anyway) -- now i think for ET day, i only have to undress from waist down if i remember correctly........

i too watch (endlessly) the baby story.....in fact --- isn't just those that i watch -- i'm completely addicted to all the "mulitples" programs that are on there as well!!! (well - on that channel and on discovery health)..... OMG --- just can't watch enough of 'em!! drives dh crazy!!

i HATE it when i want to make cookies and don't have all ingredients --- SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't been able to watch these baby stories since my D&C but I've just started getting back into em. The multiples shows scare the crap outta me! Currently on is the show where it is like their first 3 days home...grandma is making some pancake thing that looks REALLY good right now. Are you seeing a pattern with me a food today

But OMG this new mom's voice is annoying as hell! It is like Minnie Mouse/Betty Boop/3 yr old whiny girl...MAN would you just please interview grandma and hubby please!!! Get that woman OFF the mic!

Pequele...oh where to start! It is a nickname that I got while studying abroad in Honduras. The school I was at everyone got nicknames (passed on from big bro/sis like people). I got mine because I looked (it was VERY SCARY) like the twin of the last Pequele..and she looked similar to her predecesor. I'd have to kill ya if I told ya what it meant though

Oh and I thought ICSI meant you liked to investigate crime scenes haha super slueth!

You were talking bout feeling bloated from your meds...I was feeling so bloated lately too...I'm sure it is the clomid (although I also eat way tooo many carbs!) But I found myself drinkin tons of water the last few days cuz of my cold (I put in that 4cs stuff...like Crystal Light but with Splenda) and I swear it makes a HUGE difference!!! Oh by the way I know they say splenda is ok in pregnancy, not nutra sweet/aspartame, but is Spenda sucralose? I LOVE some powder stuff but it says it has sucralose not Splenda...just wondering so I can vary my drinkin habbits

hey, choco chip muffins would work for me! count me in!!

far as your splenda habit goes --- i have NO idea!!! i didn't even know it was considered "ok" to have during bfp.......i figured ALL that stuff was out.......cuz i'm a HUGE fan of the crystal light individual drink things -- where you just open the lil packet and dump in your bottle of water - you know the kind??? ANYWAY --- is something i gave up when starting this whole process back in august........which was hard for me cuz i HATE just plain water -- YUCK!! but for the greater good of what i was trying to do --- it was well worth it!

ok -- so it's time for me to go home......tomorrow i'll be off the boards as i'm off work for my ER --- everybody wish me luck!! and i'll check in on friday........ta-ta for now my lovely ladies!!!

I know those crystal light packets...those are the ones that are bad...but I got the ok that splenda is fine and in that same place you find those crystal light packets there is a brand called 4 C....same thing and yummy!!! LOVE EM!

Oh goodies SU!!! I can totally understand wanting to sleep...that is my second addiction beyond facebook and this board

I'm not really that crazy on it...I think I get crazy invites from Becky! I just seem to do mine all on one day so it looks like I'm nuts...I'm not nuts, I'm certifiable

I'm so nervous bout this cycle! My friends here seem to help ground me. There is only so much I can do to keep occupied! From worrying bout my O date, then once that is past I get to twiddle my thumbs thru the 2 ww! UGH

MAN I wish some of you guys would get on yahoo messanger

it would make this soooo much easier haha

I wish the pool boy would do laundry!

Steph - I've come to the conclusion that the whole ttc business is just all about worry. There's always something to fret about, are my follies growing?, when will I surge?, in my case last cycle 'did I miss ovulation? (remember that one?) then when you finally get a BFP that's just the start of more worries

But it'll be worth it in the end

Is there nobody you could ask to cover for you for part of the weekend if necessary? I bet if you had a back-up plan that would be sure to stop you surging til Monday
