Speaking of... Rachel - goodness gracious, honey! Sounds like you have had quite a time recently with being sick and with that toothache! OUCH! Well, I'm certainly glad they discovered that you do NOT have meningitis!! That you were able to go home and not have to stay any longer in the hospital. And mostly that while you've been thru the ringer, both you and baby are ok!! So did I understand you correctly, that you're going to go ahead and take the next 3 wks as sick leave before your maternity starts? If so, that sounds like a great idea, hopefully you won't catch anymore nasty colds and such!!
Carolyn- Good to hear from you!! I feel for ya with the tantrum child at your house. Children ruling over their parents (because their parents ALLOW them to do so) is probably one of my biggest peeves. I could literally stand on the soapbox for hours on this topic... so I'll try to contain myself

Jen1d - I'm saying an extra prayer for you today, dear. You have been through a lot and it is difficult to always keep the PMA. But have faith, hon. It only takes one. And when that one breaks through, every tear and every struggle of ttc will be in the past. Hang in there!

Stephjim - I know you were not sure about giving IUI another try, but that you had planned to do 3 before moving on to IVF. I certainly understand wanting to give IUI a fair shot before moving on, especially with the expense of IVF. I know I don't know your full situation and I wouldn't presume to know what's best... I may be giving you some unpopular advice, but since you asked our opinions... Knowing only what you've told us, I think I would go ahead and consider IVF if I were in your shoes. My reason for this is primarily due to your dh's high # of abnormal sperm. I'm coming from a position of Male Factor and IVF/ICSI is our only option. At least with IVF you can do ICSI and they will select the best sperm available, giving your eggs the best chance possible. Well, for what it's worth (not a lot with only 2 rounds in), that's my opinion.
But, whatever you do, please do some serious research and consideration before you move forward with IVF. I certainly don't know enough about your situtation, IUI or even IVF to give any kind of recommendation. And, no matter what you decide, you know we'll be here for you! Supporting you all the way!!!

Spreading lots of baby dust to everyone...
