Hi guys, just checking in for like the fifth, maybe sixth time today. Ok, maybe more. Ok, definately more. What can I say??? I like the activity on this thread. I need it to keep me going. So, let's talk about all these diets. I'm asking because over this past year and a half I gained about 15 pounds! It's awful. Some of it I blame on the meds, but come on, it has to be me too. I feel like I've lost self control when it comes to food. I keep thinking that the next month I'll be pregnant, so I better not diet. Is it just me???? Is it silly to care? I am in between cycles now, it would be the perfect time to diet a bit, but not me, I just keep eating and eating. I feel like a different person. Is it psychological??? I have no control over the pregnancy thing so I'm completely out of wack? Is there a doctor in the house? Help. PS, how you hanging in there ICSI & Steph? Hi to everyone! -chriss

thanks jen1!!!!!!!! your thoughts mean alot

and nims...........about died laughing as i saw you were QUOTING me when i was getting after steph earlier today Image know you're right...........BUT........i swear this hell!!!! Image i'm so completely KNACKERED by now..........really just want to sleep...... feel so emotionally drained......and OMG - you should see my pincushions - i mean, legs!!! Image poor dh is afraid to poke me anymore cuz i'm so black & blue  we are so strong to endure this over and over again.........am proud to be a member of such an amazing group of women!!

chriss -- can i just tell you that is my EXACT logic for NOT dieting???!!!! was frightening to read my THOUGHTS!!! the whole "i'll be preg next round anyway - does it matter??" OMG.....yeah, as a result --- i've been eating for 2 (or FOUR cuz i'm such a pig!!) since thanksgiving!!!!! i can't even bring myself to get on the scales cuz i KNOW i've gained atleast 10 lbs in just the last 3 months!!! (let alone year and a half!!!) SO -- i do understand your logic.....HOWEVER -- is certainly part of my damning mood that i'm in right this moment too.....cuz i've been feelin' like impending bfn and then the next thought behind that one is OMG - MAJOR DIET TIME!!!!!!!!!!! am poppin' out of all my clothes!!!!! LITERALLY.......so take it for what its worth.....in fact, after round 1 bfn (in august 07) ---- i SWORE i would lose 20 lbs by christmas.....yeah, that didn't happen....i suck!!!

chriss - personally i blame the meds - since starting tmt, i've put on about 10-14lbs - however in between tmt, i work like a dog to loose some of it as each time i had tmt, a little more adds on. I've always had to watch my weight and exercising is the only way I keep a lid on it so during 2ww's, i don't exercise plus I think - well a little junk won't harm - cld be eating for 2! Image

Now - I frankly dont' care - well actually i do but i'm trying not to stress over it too much - I can't run or do anything really physical so reduced to walking on the treadmill - so kinda of think its not worth the effort in going!!

Sometimes you just have to give into your whims especially when you've been through a tough time - i think they call it comfort eating! When youre good and ready, you'll be ready to start dieting again - until then don't over stress.

well thats my two penny worth.............

I tell ya, we are out of sinc around here - us girls are alive and kicking but where are our US buddies (chriss - you seem to be the lone ranger)

Steph I think this is what you need

Like the others said, don't give up yet, there's still hope. My BFP on test day was so faint, I'm sure it would've been BFN if I'd tested early.
I knooow  it is just that I got my line early last time! I am totally into instant gratification!!!! Sorry for all the posts...I have no life unless you count this....

I have tried to stay busy today...ok AFTER I got my act together....did some vacuuming, ran to the "tips"...did you know frozen dog poos are HEAVY!, ran to KMart...like Walfart, but in this town, KMart is BETTER plus they have my OPK that I like which I bought a new box for next cycle already that is how confident I am, hit the grocery store, went to Dunkin Donuts to console my attitude with yummy goodness, I even got the car washed so it is back to being blue and not grey!

I'm still trying to muster the energy/attitude to take down the tree! Image
