Ya'll don't know nuthin' 'bout fixin' to do sumthin'. Ya'll just need a learnin' to set you straight. :) Speaking of the decadent south... (as my New Englander M-I-L calls it - and it's not in a nice way... btw (tangent) can any of you yankees help me out with that? She basically told my DSS that he cannot go to university in the south, he must go somewhere in New England. and then proceeded to say that universities in the "decadent south" were substandard. Can you feel my undying love for her? I just want to know what that's about. BUT, back to the original "speaking of..." comment... AI was in Charleston tonight... and if you ain't been to Charleston, honey, you haven't lived! The Battery, Rainbow Row, Pecan Pralines!!!

Hey...

No, Steph - she's still not here. I was sure it was here earlier today and ran to the BR. UGH> nuthin' - felt like Yukon Cornelius in Rudolph - "Nuthin'!"
Image

Sorry it's nuthin' for you too... and such a crappy day at work... (OH, i'm so sorry, I meant to tell you yesterday, why did you POAS?!! I thought we made an executive decision during the chat!?!) :( Sorry... :(

Su - so glad the scan went well today! we want piccies!

Mia - honey, I know why you teach English... math just ain't your thang! :) just kidding. You should still call the job, ya never know... but wow, what an offer!! You lots o thinkin' to do.

Chriss - YAY on getting to start meds!! Don't worry, you'll be a pro at it before long and you'll get used to those nasty bruises... sister, I look like a heroin addict every time. I bruise like crazy. And you asked about my cycle - I've got to do the BCPs for 3 wks before I start my meds - that is if AF ever shows!!

I know I'm missing folks, but I've got to get in the tub... sweaty clothes from the gym are NOT comfy, plus i'm getting cold! I'll try to do more later. Tomorrow I'm off to the folks house down south for a 1 day trip (10 hrs round trip!) insane. but we have to do it. If I'm not in tomorrow, I'll try to catch up Friday or Sat (depending on how beat I am)!

THINK STICKY THOUGHTS!!! Image

Hope: I am dancin my booty off for AF to get here; what's the hold up??? I blame the meds on my poort math skills. Good girl all working out tonight . Ten hours in a car in one day?? - You crazy girl! And yes your MIL sounds like a dream.

Stephjim: I forgot to post earlier that that lil jig with your pic is adorable. I will have to check that site out.

Chriss: One time I had a bruise down my arm that lasted a few months from an iv!! My doc said the person must have pushed the meds in too quickly. But since they were taking the blood out??? not sure. But take a shot of vodka, and that will fix any potential infections :)

Alright nightie night girls. My head is still a poundin :(

Hi gang

MP - More info please on the crackwhore thing, surely you are wynding me up??

Chriss, Angie - since you asked here it is.
We fly on Sat at 1pm so by the time we get there we will check into the hotel and go out for some dinner. We usually stay in a hotel beside the clinic but this time we are in the centre as we only have to travel to the clinic once. On Sun we will have a look around ( know it so well now)and do a bit of damage to the visa then Mon is ET and to bed for the rest of the day just maybe getting up for dinner the Tue fly back home.
Am always a bit wary of the travelling but the Dr assure us its fine.

Just wanted to ask a question about lining. Mine was 5.7 on Tue and i still had 6 days to go until ET. Do you think this is ok? Have seen that some girls lining is much higher. I thought it was meant to be between 7-8?? Bit confused now.

Thanks for your help.

Cant believe we are off to IM on Saturday, just doesnt feel like its happening.

Love to you all

Love Jen x

thanks angel!! am doing ok right this moment....and probably be "ok" thru most of day --- it will be the moments just before i know the phone should be ringing that i will be crazy-insane!!!!!

steph --- Image at your interview!!! is this the FIVE HOUR one???? when can we expect you back???? details, i need details!!! OH and yeah the whole caffeine study that came out this week --- is precisely the reason for my change of pace!! dh was all "you're SO done w/ your coffee!!!"

hope --- i would surely tell my MIL to stuff it!!! (or some other 4-letter word.....maybe one that rhymes w/ CHUCK  ) referring to her opinion on DSS going to a school in the "decadent" south.....is SHE footing the bill?????? (if yes, then you may have to suck it up!! ha, ha) if no -- then WTF?????!!!!!! that is one benefit to being married to a man that is 20 years my senior ------ his mom has been dead for YEARS!!! i dont have a MIL to deal with!!! but i will tell you that she sounds like she was a real treat!!! (or not!!! my SIL refers to her as "saint mary ellen" -- OMG, scary shit!!!) and why are you doing this 10 hour in one day road trip????? must be a good reason...maybe i missed it in my read

chriss --- SO sorry i wasn't around for advice on tipping the delivery boy :? sounds like you "handled" it just fine!! and mine have always come via fedex --- and no way am i tipping the fedex guy!!! and far as tipping others????? yeah, i'm SO not into hair maintenance!! i have curly (very curly) hair......is about shoulder length'ish, don't color or highlight it......am lucky to get to hair-cutter place 2/year!!! otherwise, i chop at it myself!!! (curls are very forgiving!!!) so i can't lend any advice on tipping those people either!!! how'd the follitism go?????

jen1 --- must say, i'm a bit envious of your little mini-holiday!!! sounds lovely!! it will all go very fast from this point forward.......so get ready to bring baby home!!

stephjim -- aren't you the cutest lil dancin' baby???!!!! too cute!!

ok --- so i told ya we were going to hypnotist last night --- what a joke!!! we were in this cramped room, packed w/ over a 100 people, SO hot... thought i was going to throw up!!!! dh had to go get me bottle of water... was really a waste of time if you ask me......and most importantly -- it kept me out til after 10pm last night and i am soooooooooooooo tired today!!! :-( oh boy, i'm a whiner/complainer today -- that's for sure!!!

Hello all, just got up. Watched yet another movie last night. Resident Evil: Extinction. I love those kind of movies. This one was pretty good. Oh course DH fell asleep during it.

How is everyone else doing today. Hope and Steph, I will have a special AF jig planned for you guys.

Hope are you on FB? I forget if I have added you or not.

Well I work so there goes 12 hours in the days I work. Then there are some new shows on right now on tv so at night I have something to watch, even in the midst of this stupid writer's strike.

I will watch movies, clean house, light workouts, spend time with the kids when we have them. I am reading a couple of books. I am on the third one of the Dexter series. Are you guys aware of that show over in England?

My DH got me hooked on the tv show Spaced that used to come on over there. I love me some Simon Pegg. We downloaded all the shows and watched them in like 3 nights a year ago, as well as the British Office tv show. He is hilarious too.

We download a lot of movies so, it is nice.

I wanted to say real quick (gotta hurry, we're leaving soon)...

Jen1 - in case I don't make it back before you leave on Saturday... hang in there, sweetie, keep up that PMA!!!!!! We're behind ya all the way. And you're in our thoughts and prayers!!! I have a co-worker, who I just found out has a sister who went thru 3 IUIs and 5 IVFs... got pg on the 5th IVF!!! It happens!!! Have faith!!! and be careful flying. I'm sure DH will take good care of you!

Angie- Good luck with those betas today. I'm sure they've SKY ROCKETED!!!

Steph - Good luck on that crazy 5 hr interview today!! Knock their socks off!!

To everyone else... (i'm sure i missed someone's big day... I'm sorry if I did... :( I'm thinking of you all and wishing you all the best!!!!)

Gotta get going. SO not looking forward to 10 hrs in the car. (Angie, we're going to take care of some things for my g-mom's estate - remember Sassy?? - We're helping her to get her stuff in order. She's doing very well, btw - recovering very well for an 84 yr old after breaking her hip in 4 places! she's practically running now!) We'd stay overnight, but DH has to work tomorrow so we have to get back... which means I'll probably end up working tomorrow too.. lucky we have late hours!

Hugs to you all!! Talk to you soon!
