Chriss you are going back tomorrow for an update? Hmmm what to do, what to do? Um if you WANT to try iui again then do that. IF that didn't work, it would save more $ for IVF with a cycle that gave you more follies. Now can they up your meds? I'm not sure how the whole thing works. They can't freeze some of DH spermies so he could give say a sample today and then another in a few days etc so you had more to work with??? I'm not sure how THAT works either since I use DS!

Gawd I'm not much help either huh?
I say, if you think iui is what you have in your heart DO IT.

chriss - Sorry to hear its not going so well this time. I don't know what the answer is hun. Are the chances of fertilisation any better or worse with iui than ivf? Are you doing icsi? Its so hard when money plays a big part in the decision. Maybe the other girls will have some better advice for you.

Becky - I hope you're feeling a bit better. Is AF keeping her head down still? She's such a tease

Steph - Hope you're having a good day away from hell. Are you back there tomorrow? I've had today off too 'cos I worked Sunday. Yes, I went swimming then did boring stuff like going to the bank and food shopping etc. and indulged my pram addiction a little. Now I'm exhausted and have been a couch potato for the last 2 hours. ImageReally need to do some housework and get dinner but just can't be bothered to move.

I thought I was supposed to get a boost of energy in the 2nd trimester! I'm more tired than during the 1st Image

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.

Miracle, I'll never have 30 eggs. The most I ever had was 10 and that was a very good response for me. But maybe I should wait for a cycle that has more than I have now. We won't really know untill tomorrow. I don't know what the answer is. I have to just wait and see what RE says.

Steph, when we did IUI's in the past, we always did back to back inseminations due to DH low sperm count and morphology, etc. (we would come back the next day and do it again) and it did work once, but that was a whole year ago. A long time in fertility age. Once your 40, it declines very quickly. I am faced with the possibility that I will not produce more than 4 follices now. Who knows. Or maybe it was just a bum cycle. I am on the MAX dosage. Thanks for trying to come up with suggestions though. My DH says that he still feels positive about it. I am going to turn my thinking around. I'm just a bit disappointed. It was only a few hours ago that I had the appointment. The shock is settling in.

Su, thanks for post. I hope you get some energy soon, but if not, you have to let some things slide. You need to take care of your baby first. Very happy for you.

For such a small number of follicles, I sure am BLOATED! And cranky. Boo hoo. Woe is me syndrome. Help me turn it around. -chriss

Hey all,
Can I join you in feeling crappy? Pls......

Had to go away on a business trip and couldn't log on from the hotel. Damn.....just reminded me how dependant my life has become on the internet! Anyway, the trip made my flu worse and I'm back to feeling the way I was over the weekend. Totally crap. Have taken so much cough syrup, its not doing anything for me. And AF is still not here!!!!!!!!

Jend - Congrats on being PUPO. Glad everything went well and that your lil ones are home - where they belong.

Angie - hugs to you. Wish there was something we could do to ease the pain away. Come back when you're ready.

Mia - 9 eggs is great!!! Any news on how they are doing? Hope you're feeling better today.

Su - I agree with Steph, get a take away. You deserve a treat sometimes.

Becky - So sorry you're so poorly. Lots of soup for you. I do know how you're feeling though. Hey, if you want to fend off AF for a few days, just give her my address. will gladly welcome her.

Steph, you enjoying your day off? Have cramps eased off?

Hope - where are you? AF visited you today?

Hello to anyone else I've missed. Sorry - gotta go. DH is home and need to serve "tea".
