Hello all!!! had a lazy day myself finally got up at like 2 and went to the store. Having a couple of friends over tonight. I am sure they will all drink in front of me. :(

Got into it with my DH today about the smoking thing again. Sometimes, I just feel like he does not care about having another child, with me. He already has two with the ex. So when I said if this does not work this time and we have to move on to IVF, he said he would do what he can to quit. He had already told me he would if we had to to IVF. I guess he forgot. I am just frustrated because i am going through a lot and giving up a lot for us to have a baby and just sits back doing same old same old. I am sorry, I had to vent. It was one of those where I slammed the door on the way out. I don't need this stress right now. I love him with all my heart, it just frustrates me so much. Because he is not healthy lung wise either because of it.

Anyways I am done venting.

Chriss, you need to make the decision for you. I, personally would probably go ahead and do the IUI this month. You can't save those follies for next month anyways so nothing wrong with giving them a chance.

I hope that all the sickies start feeling better. I still have the sniffles, myself.

Steph, hope you are enjoying your day off. I am, for the most part.

Su, relax and enjoy because it will all be over before you know it.

Well ya'll are about the sorriest boo-hoo woe is me bunch of ladies I think I have ever seen!!

Chriss: I think I would go for IVF, I mean if the eggs don't make it for that then they won't make it for IUI. I think you should stay in the game and give it your all! You can doo it, wipe those tears away!!

Stephjim: So with you in those dh smoking issues. Mine finally resolved, not b/c of my nagging, but one day dh said he just felt it was time to quit! Praise God I said. But I know the frustration when we have to go through SOOOO much!! hang in there, and throw a few pillows at him (always makes me feel better ;).

Peqe: CONGRATS ON THE JOB!!! Woo-hoo, but wait what if that just is worse of a hell than the one you have  OMG that would be sooo funny (for us)

Ok who else was complaining on here...

Becky: Stop your whining you have only been sick for 3 weeks!!! Sorry hun, but hopefully the flu is keeping AF away!!You just have to get past 6 pm tonight, right??

Sorry if I missed any one's pity party (you all know I mean that with every drop of love in my cold heart, right??)

Ok so MY news:
9 retrieved
6 mature
5 fertilized (w/ICSI)
3 eggs we are waiting on to see if they mature over night!
The RE said looking at a day 3 transfer (though I will oush for a day5)

Peqe: PIO is Progesterone in Oil shot, it makes your bum and leg sore - I have to have them for 2 months if I get my BFP, I mean when I get my BFP!!!
Me: 28 Dh:32
TTC 8 yrs
2/3 2 blasts transferred
2/14 BFP Beta#1: 316; Beta#2 960

mmmmmm crab rangoon

mia what is the difference in 3 vs 5 day transfer...except the obvious cuz unlike you I can do math :P it is better to do 5? Wouldn't tomorrowbe day 3 then? Does that mean you go in tomorrow? 'm hoping the other 3 you are waiting on catch up so you have a supreme crop to make your litter!

And NO I'm not allowing this new job to suck! I'm gonna get to go to lunch and pee when I need!!! It is gonna be BLISS!!!

Stephjim: I am great at giving those! (not so great at getting them!!) Yes hoping your bean(s0 are implanting their butts in your lining as we speak!! :)

I will prob put back two.

Peqe: Sometimes embies aren't strong enough to make it to day 5 so if they look weak, or there are not that many embies they do a day3. I think to kinda passify the patient so they have some embies in them. Also I have heard arguments that the womb is a better place for day 3 embies, the do better there than in the dish. Benefit with day 5 you can see which ones will make it and you don't have to worry as much about them not taking. Does that make sense??

um..yeh...Image
God I'm a good liar!
So it is like saying the dish isn't a normal place for the embies to be so to put em back in a natural environment at day 3 is better, but if they DID make it in the dish til day 5, those are stronger??? When do they freeze em?

So what you are saying is you may have your transfer tomorrow?

Yep, you got it! I might have transfer on Friday. They count day one as the day after ER. (one full day). My clinic freezes them on day 7! But most do it on day 6.

Miracle, not offended, just crabby because I would love 30 follies. Just feeling sad about this whole freakin' thing.

Mia, You gave us a firm talking to... thanks. I am going to see what RE says tomorrow. The reason for going to IUI is not to "waste" an IVF cycle when there are so few eggs. Only have so much covered by insurance. Then again, maybe one of those eggies is the right one. I guess I'm getting all caught up in the statistics and I haven't had luck yet after 3 IVF's. And I did have success once with IUI. (Success getting pregnant that is) I don't Know girl. How are you? I hope that your embies are doing well. I'm hoping this is your time. I know that I need to get my faith going and step back and breathe. It's difficult not to get all caught up in the IVF craziness. Thanks chica.

Steph, congratulations. As long as you can pee and eat as you please, the job will be terrific!!! I have to schedule my pee trips all the time. Can't leave the kids alone in the classroom. But at least i have a bathroom close enough by if an emergency. You will really appreciate being able to take a wee whenever you want. It's the little things, huh?
Image

Stephjim, sorry about DH being a poop. It took a while for my Dh to get on board with no alcohol. Hey, he's got sperm issues and alcohol can affect sperm. I emailed him all this stuff from the internet one time. He is really trying now. His last sperm analysis showed an improvement in morphology and the RE said to him, keep doing what you are doing, it made a difference. That should be enough to keep him going. Has your DH sat in with you at any of your appointments with RE? Maybe he needs to hear it straight from the horse's mouth. Just a thought sweetie. I hope he comes around.

Angel, feel better.

Girls, thanks for being here. -chriss
