That is great news Chriss, I am sure that you will have a couple more in the next couple of days. I am sure that it is a hard decision with insurance. I wish I had that option. I have to pay out of pocket for it all. Thank god for my good credit. I will help you stay positive if you help me. :)

Thanks Mia for the pep talk. I enjoy those. Unfortunately, my DH is the type that if you try to talk to him about what is wrong, then he feels so guilty for doing it that he just gets frustrated with himself and takes it out on me.

which one...me or stephjum? I haven't touched mine yet cuz I have my US for my follies on Monday and I am still on clomid now...but because I am gonna use a trigger I think I will get some cheapies so I can watch the trigger leave my body, that way when I get my BFP I know it is and not the trigger :D

Steph
Image on the new job! Does this mean you're joining me on the hospital side?
I went to bed early last night and missed your fab news so sorry I'm a bit late.

Have you tried ibuprofen? There's reports it can interfere with ovulation but I guess that's not a problem for you if you're not starting til next AF. I always took regular paracetamol/codeine plus regular ibuprofen (or mefenamic acid which is similar but stronger and you need a prescription for it) to control the pain. Sorry you're suffering. You don't need that on top of the flu, do you :(

Stephjim - Keep up the PMA. 1 week down, 1 to go

Mia - Congrats on the 6 embies

Hi to everyone else. Wow what a lot to catch up with. You always come out to play after I've gone to bed :(

Hola chicas,

Stephjim, positive vibes it is for me & you. We will be strong together. I'm sorry that you have to pay out of pocket. My DH and I are very appreciative that we have insurance to help us. We are in it for the long haul. If we go the donor egg route, we will have to pay for it ourselves as insurance will not cover any of that. I don't think any of us should have to pay for any of this. But... whatever. I'm not going to start complaining again. :? let's keep positive!

Mia, good news on the embies. Sounds like things are going your way.

Miracle, thanks for the PMA. We should know more tomorrow or Saturday. Looks like I'm moving slowly in the follicle department this cycle. But, as my RE says, I am producing eggs, that's the important thing.

Steph, how'z it today???

Hello to everyone. Be back later. -chriss

Chriss- What about a "known" donor egg? (if you need too) That would save you a lot of $$$. Just a thought.

Hi Miracle,
Yeah, my DH and I talked about that. We would rather go with anonomous donor. I've been thinking about donor eggs for a little while now, but my RE says we don't need to have that discussion at this time. So, we are keeping at it with my own eggs & looking forward to that BFP that way. It can happen. Thanks for the suggestion. I do appreciate any input. -chriss

Hi Chriss! I understand. My husband and I couldnt do a known sperm donor either. I think it would make it harder. I am sure you already know this, but you can get and egg donor cheaper if the clinic kind find someone else doing IVF at your clinic that are willing to donate your eggs. (mind you, it would still be "unknown" and they will never know if it "took" or not) I am just trying to help. But I know you are so going to get a BFP this time that I am just wasting my typing!! :D I am praying for more follies for you!

Hey Girlies (or Chicas  )

Chriss: I wonder if even after the ER your RE will give the other two eggies a day to mature?? That is what mine did and I was surprised taht was an option. Glad you are in better spirits! Four is still great, and I am praying each one has a viable eggie!!! When is the Easter hunt, I mean ER scheduled??

Jen1d: Are you ready for the longest two weeks of your life???! Sorry to hear about your Fil. :( Tough to have any added stress at this time. At least for me, i find it hard focusing on more than one thing..

Su : Where are you at?? You must be across the pond (I still don't know what that phrase means...) Cuz I am usually on late! Sorry you are on all by your lonesome.. no fair :(

I am with Peqe, Steph, and Miracle on paying this out of pocket. So far we have spent almost 24000$$ , and plan on spending more if need be, which we won't

Again Mircale, I think you and I have different ideas of what is humorous... having 12 babies sit on my uterus... NOT FUNNY!!! I wonder what the record is for the most babies carried that had live births??? hmmm, I could be famous... still NOT worth it! Plus like Peqe said, i wouldn't be able to even seee my own show since I don't have cable...

Stephjim: I can relate, I love my dh tons, but when he gets moody.. watch out, he will flip on the tiniest of things. Doesn't happen often, but when it does it makes me feel miserable. Dh quit smoking when we got married, and for 2 years didn't smoke. Then he started after an argument we had and kept soking for 7 years until he quit last April. And like I said it had nothing to do with anything I said, I just prayed real hard. But you can always vent to us :) And if you don't like my drill sgt pep talks, feel free to tell me to shove it

Speaking of dh's mine was sooo not interested in hearing the fert report today. Sometimes it's like he is from another planet.. he totally took the spark out of my good day, for all of 2 minutes then I got over it quick and bought some wine for tonight :)

Becy: Are you still feeling icky?? We miss your posts. Feel better soon, that's an order...

Hi Mia,

about Dh and seeming to not be interested... they just deal with this differently than we do. We (us women) eat, sleep, & drink infertility. They can tune it out once in a while. We think about it 24/7. every time we pee, we are checking for something. Here I am getting all caught up in the daily stats about my follicles... how many on the left ovary? How big did she say? how many on the right? BLAH< BLAH< BLAH and my DH is more like.. we'll see when the time comes kinda attitude. My DH looks at the bigger picture, maybe yours is like that too? Not getting caught up in every detail. Believe me, after every visit with RE, I replay the conversations over and over in my head, dissecting each thing said. Maybe you're not as analytical as me, but maybe you are. :D Maybe DH is just looking at the big picture.
