Hi girls

Well another day over, thank god, bit scary though eh. I want the days to go by quickly so i dont have to go through the 2ww but i want them to go slow incase i get bad news again

The only thing that scares me is that i have never managed to get a bfp before and think i never will so its probably time to give up very soon. I really believe if you have had a bfp then your time will come its just a matter of waiting longer------but it will happen.
The Dr's in the UK and Barcelona keep saying there is nothing wrong with me and all the operations, tests and embies are clear and fine---then it should work---its quite clearly is NOT and its so frustrating

Have been resting well but off to the cinema for a couple of hours as dh want to see Cloverfield and i'm being a dutiful wife and going with him---well its only fair, he usually puts up with the films i want to see then its back to chilling with mother over for tea.
I always feel guilty if i go out and about so i try to rest as much as possible but i also will have my butt back on the couch after the cinema. The way i look at it is---if i do the best i can then i cant look back and say, i should have done this or i should have done that---i tried my best---------wonder how all the drug addicts get pregnant without taking care of themselves or eating right?????

Had a few af feelings in the old tum this morning but they went after bout 10mins. It was just when i had taken my pessary so i think its was the medi??? JenB has informed me today is my implantation day but i'm too scared to think it might be this---scared of the disappointment again. So just not looking into anything and waiting.

Mia - Good luck for Sundays ET, hope all goes well.

Hope - Yehaa bcp's on Sunday, your on your way.

Rachel - Maternity leave already, it feels like your pregnancy has flown by---probably not to you though eh.

Steph - Not long now, hang in there. How you feeling?

Chriss - Yep you are a Drill Seargent but your fab and your right, its kick ass year for usPromise i am trying to be positive but so scared i dont get a baby---we're nearly at the end of the road financially so thats how we have to stop and although we might have another chance with the free cycle, thats only if they find us a donor. BUT hey, who needs that cycle, this is going to work, right

Becky - What can i say----dh is English and the Jocks are not keen on them when it comes to footie/rugby so i'm staying neutral and flying the flag for the Jocks

Welsh, I am not familiar enough with IVF to give you a definitive answer, but basically every LIVING cell has a nucleus. It is the center of the cell that has the protons and the electrons in it and long with the neutrons. I would think one with a nucleus would be a good thing. Let us know what she finds out.

I ditto Steph....including the part that basically says I'm not familiar with IVF...and in my terms that means "so what do I know"...but yeh every living Eukaryotic organism (there are prokaryotes that have no nucleus..ie bacteria) has a nucleus. Humans are Eukaryotes...so our cells have nuclei!!

Becky, did you get any insight into question?? Hoping that things work out for your friend. How are you feeling?

Not much action on here right now I see. I am back from appointment which was hours ago and here I am again so soon. Well, looks like iui this time. I am fine with that. Don't want to spend all the Moolah on IVF if there are only 3 or 4 eggs retrieved this cycle. Hoping that the IUI does us right. Looks like I take the trigger tonight around 5pm and go in tomorrow morning for IUI #1 then back in on Monday for IUI#2. We do two because DH has sperm problems. The first IUI seems a bit early if you ask me, but I am trying to let go and not keep questioning EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME! Someone stop me from obsessing please!!???!!??!??!!!

Stephjim, thanks for the good luck wishes. Hope work keeps you busy and not thinking too much!!! Your time is coming.

It sounds like you're happy with the decision to do iui this month, fingers crossed you won't need another ivf cycle cos this is the one Try not to stress about the timing (easier said than done, I know). From what I've read that's pretty normal for double insems, but I've only done single myself. Fresh sperm lives longer than frozen anyway so DH's swimmers should be good for a couple of days.

Chriss: Not sure if u know, but Ghost is a man lol - he is an embyroligist at a clinic there in the states somewhere. Yes he is very helpful, i have used him a few times (im sure he will love that expression lol)
Still no insight into my question tho, but she is a wee bit more hopeful, i calmed her down as much as possible and reminded her that the last time she only had 1 she got pregnant (sadly lost it tho) so fingers crossed for this little blighter hanging on

Will be back later to post some more - DH is cooking the steak for my tea (dinner) tonight and its about ready just a quick mention tho - about the rugby ....

Hey all!!! OOhhhhhh Work is kicking my ass today!!! I am going to be honest, especially since I will be paying out of pocket, if I have to do IVF, I am going to have to take the two weeks off after the embies are put back in. because I was helping with just putting a urine catheter in someone today and my back is killing me. I am just so paranoid and I cannot ask everyone to do my job for me. So, if I have to do IVF, I will definitely be taking those two weeks off otherwise there is too much of a risk to lose them.

Maybe I can get my DH to take a week off and we can go somewhere, driving, that is.

Anyways, I was just venting. I am crampy and emotional again today and they are overworking me. I finally got another chance to sit back down and rest my back.

Chriss, glad to hear that you are at least giving IUI a chance this month. Stay positive!!!!

No, you're not a retard, I don't know the first thing about US geography. I thought I'd copy Becky and give you a map. The Beatles were from Liverpool (west coast), I'm in Essex (no essex girl jokes please ladies!) which is the area above the word LONDON and below Cambridge and Ipswich. Does that make sense? I guess in US terms its not that far to Liverpool. I went there a couple of times for work and it took about 5 hours by train.


The pram I thought I liked is the icandy cherry but now I'm liking the bebecar ones. It would be so much easier if you could find one shop that stocked them all but everywhere has a different selection. There's so many more on the internet too but you can't choose without seeing them. I'm so confused
