I just read this on another thread, I am going to give it a try:

"I just figured something out. A girl on another board told us that if you get that debug message...then hit F-5 and hit retry and it should go through. It just worked for me. Hope that helps."

Sorry if I post twice.

That didn't really work for me. I just get a message saying I can't post again so quickly. I guess it cancels out that double entry.

Thanks...tick tock tick tock...

as you can see the F5 thing did not work out so well when I tried :)

in the meantime my nurse called to set up our pre E/R visit w/ my doc and it has to be by 2/13 because he is going on VACATION...I knew he would not do my retrieval or transfer but I am a little freaked out that while I'm stimming he will not be the one reviewing my progress...his associate will be who after I researched her seems qualified...just another bump in the road...does anyone know if this really matters much? Hopefully all my blood tests/ultra sounds during "stims" are fine and it won't be a big deal...

Cathann - good luck w/ the F5! I feel like we may have lost some folks who haven't tried to reply and see that we're still going ...the last post they see is from RunnerKate on Tues or Wed....I hope everyone finds us!

HI EVERYONE

Post by kbear4211 »

Hello.

I was wondering if I could join your group. I am just coming off of a BFN earlier this week. We are doing much better. My DH and I are getting away for the weekend, we need some alone time.

Things I learned from my first IVF cycle:

- Boy you get bloated while stimulating
- Symptoms during 2ww don't necessarily mean anything (I had them all)
- PIO shots are a pain in the tucus (literally)
- Getting a BFN stinks, but you always have to have hope
- Support from women like you is very helpful

I decided to jump to this thread, since I just talked to my RE and we are gearing up again. I got AF yesterday. I start BCP tomorrow. We are doing the microdose lupron protocol this time. RE stated that I responded well, very well for a 40 year old. I just didn't get a lot of eggs. They want to try this more aggressive protocol to get me more eggs, so we hopefully can go to a 5 day transfer.

I will probably being doing ER around the 2nd week of March.

I hope everyone finds us too! And, I hope they fix this site soon. It is frustrating to see some threads work and others not working.

IrishHope - I don't think it will matter much that your dr is away while you are stimming. It seems that even the nurses seem to know good numbers from bad and I am sure the associate will be fine. Last time, I didn't even interact with my dr after my mock retreival (another doc did my ER and ET last time and the same thing looks like it will happen this time too). I would wave and say hi if I saw him but all the bloodwork and ultrasounds were done by others and then I was mostly just talking with the nurses. It is nice to know they are around and I think the benefit of being in such a network is that someone is always available when you need them.

Welcome kbear4211 - I am so sorry to hear about your BFN. That really stinks more than words can say. Everyone here on this thread has been great. I am glad you are already able to start again and can join us!
It looks like you will be just a week or so behind me. I am starting Lupron this week and hope for ER/ET the first week in March. This is my second cycle too. I hope this is the one for both of us!
Enjoy your weekend away!

RunnerKate - our thread is all messed up!! the only way we can see each other's posts is if you login and "post reply" you can see all our messages...for some reason they aren't posting regularly.

We've tried to start a new thread/fix this one but no luck!

we are here though - no worries!!

have you started stims yet?

This is rather annoying, but at least it is still possible to read the responses this way.

Nothing too exciting here - I got my big box of meds today - it wasn't as scary this time since I knew what to expect! I too am waiting for AF so I can start these lovely injections! I don't know any estimated ER/ET yet because RE said he wants to do slower stim this time to try to avoid OHSS - I stimmed for about 10-11 days last time so I don't know how much longer I will go this time.

Kbear - welcome! It's also my second cycle I had only 1 egg out of 30 follicles last time - so here's hoping there are lots of eggs for all of us this time!
