Is your injection site still sore? I know how it feels - my stimming drugs are intramuscular so I have to take those everyday! And looking at that big long needle makes me queasy. Hey, you take it easy at work and if you get annoyed just think of the little miracle happening in your body.

Miracle - it was great chatting to you. I joined this thread at a point that we were still going for tests and didn't even know the first thing about IVF or when we would start. I've learnt so much since that time and I can't beleive yesterday I was actually supporting another first time IVFer and explaining the procedures and drugs involved. With all that I've learnt from this thread and googling things, DH reckons I'd make a great counsellor/ advisor for people awaiting treatment.

Becky - How are you hun? Heard anything about your job yet? You have a wonderful bright outlook on life and hope that some of that rubs off on me.

Jend - how are you babe? Hope you're taking it easy at work? Not long to go for your test date. Keep up the PMA.
Adoption classes - yeah that is a laugh. They should in that case force teenage mothers to attend them first. Saw this teenager with her baby in a pram the other day. She was smoking and took the pram into a crowded and hot chip shop where someone's chips almost fell over the poor baby. She spilt some ketchup on the pram. It just made me so annoyed - I wished I could walk off with the pram and bring that baby home with me.

ICSI - welcome back! Well done on the weight loss. How much have you lost? You have to give us all some tips.

I had my u/s today. My lining is getting thick and got about 10 follies. Was a bit dissappointed by that, but hey. I was a poor responder last time so this time I'm on an increased dose from the beginning. The only worry I have is that my largest follicle is already 12mm - and this is after 4 days of stimming. The others are 10 and 11 and about 4 of them are less than 8. So just waiting for the RE to come back to me regarding the dosage.

My injection site is STILL killing me. It dawned on me yesterday to check out the vials themselves. They don't say the stoppers are latex free...I have a latex allergy! I wonder if that could be it? I mean the nurse was pretty shocked at the site too.

Just before 10pm last night my ovaries quieted down! Yippee, so I am so excited...ovulation was done and there was a party in there last night...wooo

I better finish getting ready for hell!

Couple of you asked about my weight loss -- not like it's been anything "great" so far -- has only been a couple of weeks.....but i've gotten my arse on my treadmill atleast 5 days a week (YEAH FOR ME!!!) and so far i've lost about 3lbs....not much i know -- but ya have to consider super bowl was in there too (last sunday) and i ate like a DOUBLE PIG!!! ... but i'm drinking all my water and just watching my calorie intake -- still pretty much eating what i want, just doing so in moderation!!! (except the couple of m&m raids i've treated myself to!!!) we'll see how long i can keep it up......

Mia - how are you doing? Happy Anniversary. Embies growing big? Glad you liked the Pill. It was pretty funny. I am doing better today. Slept until 9 this morning so that felt good. Cramps feel a little bit better. I was feeling kind of sick to my stomach last night. probably still a combination of things. I will see tonight if I am sick feeling again if it is the BCP. I never had an issue with them before.

Wishful, thanks for the hugs. I am much more focused this time. I really did not want to pay as much as we will have to pay, I mean put on credit, but it will be worth it in the end, right? I think that I recovered a bit more this time because AF came at work so I had no time to feel sorry for myself and plus, after the first 2 IUIs not working I really did not have any confidence in the 3rd, in fact I think we should have just done IVF from the beginning.

Chriss - hope you are having a good day. Stay positive. I know it is hard. As far as the weight gain, between the stress of buying a house, moving setting it up and then trying to have a baby and then to top it all off, taking fertility meds, I have gained like 15 pounds since my wedding. So I think I am going to take advantage of this time on the pill and try to lose a few of them. I am not going to be working any OT so I will go to the gym every day I am off. I am not going to go crazy dripping sweat working out, but I am going to get some extra exercise and hopefully the pill will make me a little sick so i won't stress eat. Why couldn't I be a stress starver?

Steph, glad your IUI went well. PMA and BABY DUST for you!!!!! The one good thing about trying to have a baby is that I don't drink anymore, but that makes it a bad thing when I do have a fun night once in a rare moon.

Angel, how are you today? I am feeling a lot better. Cramps are minimal right now. I think the BCP is really going to shorten my period so that will help. Now to just get rid of the water weight.
