Hello to Everyone!

I am excited that people are starting to make the move over to this thread - it is great!!!!

Gecko, I, like you, used donor eggs and my donor was 26 so I agree that amnio isn't truly necessary for me. What is the nuchal test? I feel like I could be a RE after the number of rounds of IVF I have gone through but since this whole pregnancy thing is new to be I am a bit green on what needs to be done.

Acapulco - best of luck today, let us know how it goes. I have a beta tomorrow and am hoping to see that it is thriving and all is going well! I may even try to get an earlier u/s - my desire to wait until 7 week is fading as I just want to know how many little ones are in there!

Hoekey, glad that you are feeling pregnant now and are confident about it! Way to go.

Rio - a list will definitely be helpful as I am already starting to forget whose u/s is when!

Yesterday I started getting cramps which freaked me out. It is okay today and there was no blood so all is fine. I know people get cramps especially during the first trimester but it still worried me!!
I made an appointment with my GP a few days after my u/s so hopefully she'll be able to refer me to an OB - high risk or not - at that point.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Hello girls!! I hope everyone is feeling well today. I am on and off nauseous, but if I keep feeding myself a little all day it keeps it at bay.

In case someone is starting a chart my U/S is scheduled for the 18th. Only four more sleeps until mine. It is also scheduled for first thing in the morning 7:30 :D . Only five more sleeps for some and 13 or 14 for the rest. We seem to have a lot of girls on the same days, noone in-between really. Maybe more will join and we can start seeing U/S results daily :) .

acapulco I hope that you get to have your U/S soon. Can't wait to hear when.

Not much to say today as I have no new symptoms, and no big changes. Hope that is the same for all you girls.

Kelly- The nuchal test is just an ultrasound where they measure the fat roll on the back of the baby's neck. Apparently this relates to Down's Syndrome. If the percentage of risk is ok they don't do an amnio. I don't know much more about it yet, but will find out!

You are doing another beta? My clinic did just the three. One at day 14, 14, and 20. I don't know if they will do anymore bloodwork for me. What is your clinic's protocol?

Acapulco - Good luck today!

Hope everyone is feeling great today!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Gecko - thanks for the info on the nuchal test. I haven't heard of it before. My clinic does the first beta, then one two days later and then once a week until the u/s. So, I have one this Friday and presumably one next Friday and then my u/s on the 27th - unless I get an earlier appointment for my u/s. The weekly bloodwork is more to check my progesterone levels than my betas - I think the beta is a bonus.

In the past my pregnancies have stopped developing between 5-6 weeks so I think I'll feel more comfortable when I get my beta on Friday.

Acapulco - can't wait to hear how it went today!!

Hoekey - I can't believe how soon your u/s is. When was your ER? Or how far along are you at this point?

Kellym I had a FET on the 19th of January. According to all the tickers I am 6w2d. I will be 6w6d the day of the U/S. So I am really hoping to be able to see a nice strong heartbeat.

Anyone else feeling a little hard jellybean in the tummy area? I definitely felt a hard spot this morning. Not big, but definitely in there :) .

riogirl71 thanks for the chart. Did Acupulco get her U/S today??? OMG I am so excited to hear the results!!!!

Oh, and HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY girls!!

Hoekey - that is hilarious about the jellybean spot - nothing like that with me. But I did feel like I was about to throw up in the middle of a meeting today. The nausea is starting to come on strong and I am just 5w1d. My goodness, I don't know how I am going to last the first trimester feeling like this!!!

Rio - thanks for the chart - that definitely helps!

I think Acapulco is going for her second beta today and will find out the date of her u/s. But maybe I misunderstood her! I guess we'll find out when she posts!

I can hardly wait until Monday when we start to hear about the u/s results!

Yippee - this sure is fun. I told my DH about this thread and he said "you must have been so excited to finally get to post on the Pregnancy After Treatment Board" - that couldn't be more true!

waitingforMia- Yippeeeee! I am so excited for you! It is wonderful to welcome another October mommy to this thread. You beta number sounds VERY strong. How many did you transfer?

Kelly- I wish my clinic offered more frequent bloodwork. I have to wait two weeks from my last beta to my u/s and it's killing me! My progesterone had dropped last time it was checked from 27 on 2/1 to 19 on 2/4. My doctor prescribed some oral prometrium on top of the pio stots and prometrium suppositories I was taking, but didn't seem to see a need to recheck the progesterone levels. She said they were both in range and that the levels could flux throughout the day. I am hoping that as the placenta develops, it will start putting out some of its own. I plan to ask her on Tuesday if I need more bloodwork or not. I think as long as I am not bleeding (and I am not) and they see the heartbeat, they will be happy.

acapulco - How did it go today? Any news? I am thinking good thoughts for you!

WaitingforMia - congrats!!! sounds like a very strong beta which is fantastic!!!

Geckogirl - while I will be happy to get confirmation of my beta, I am not sure that I need the check on my progesterone. Last friday when I got it done I had a progesterone level of 117. I asked if it could be too high and was told there nothign to worry about because it is as a result of the pills and cream. I do wonder if the high levels are causing me to be ridiculously tired. Anyway, no complaints because at least I am not struggling trying to keep the levels up.

Acapulco - looking forward to hearing your numbers from today!!!

Hi Everyone!

My 2nd BETA went well!!!!! I have to go in for a 3rd BETA on Monday, my clinic checks every 4 days until the U/S. I missed the call on my cell when the nurse called so I don't have a date for my U/S but I think they test at 7 weeks.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR POSITIVE THOUGHTS!!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

God Bless ALL of you!!!!

waitingformia Congratulations!! Wow what a great number. I have to ask also how many you transferred. I, myself, transferred 4 but I think that I only have a singleton in there. My first beta 11dp was only 50. I bet you have multiples in there. I believe we are going to have a few mutliples on this thread. We've got some girls with some really great numbers.

Geckogirl (well and pretty much everyone else here) I have never had my progesterone checked. I have heard so many of you ladies talk about getting it checked. I wonder why my clinic doesn't. Maybe they do and I just am not in that particular protacol. What exactly do we take it for and why do they check it. You would think after my third go 'round I would know about this.

Is anyone else felling a little "jellybean" yet. Now that Kellm is not feeling it, I am nervous about it. Ugh, sometimes I just overthink way too much!!

riogirl71 I'm sure if my OBGYN recommends the U/S to test for down syndrom I would do that. But even if we get a high possibilty I don't think that I would consider amnio. I don't think that I would want to take the risk of miscarriage. No matter how small.

Mia - Welcome to the "other" side!!!! I am so hapy to see you here!
Hoekey - my clinic has never tested me for progesterone either, I got 4 betas (10d, 12d, 14d, 16d) and that's it until 1st u/s on 2/19. I kinda wish they would test me for something!

I am considering the Nuchal test and then depending on my results I will consider an amnio test or not. Difficult decisions!

How is everyone doing with the PIO? I am starting to have a really hard time with it, my left side will get a painful bump right after the shot and stay hard for days, my right side does better but it is also getting hard from all the shots. Do you girls know if you can take the shots anywhere else? It is getting hard to sit at work!
Acapulco, I misunderstood and thought you were having an u/s today! Glad your beta was good!

I am bummed out that I don't have many symptoms, I get dizzy, big belly, that's all. I kinda wish I had more  I am tired of the PIO and other stuff, I just want to feel preggers by myself without meds!

We are going to have a ton of girls here, have you seen the Jan/Feb cycle buddies? We have like 14 girs already with BFPs!!!!
