thanks mia......appreciate your input :-) nope, no insurance coverage for me.....is all out of pocket!! far as all of my "levels" and lining and everything ---- all PERFECT.....no "issues" at all.......just not implanting.... no explanation.........my RE thinks the various tests that he could run on me - would only point him toward the medical protocol he used this last time anyway - says when there are implantaion issues, can only do so much and is how he treated me this last round.....on the basis that if he had run all the tests, these are the expected results anyway ---- so we opted to not go thru a bunch more crap.....he feels same about PGD testing --- says there is no evidence to support the fact the it "helps" achieve bfp in any way -- only indicates if good genetics - which, 9 times out of 10, your body rejects if "bad egg" anyway (according to him)..... and the testing costs about $3,000.....

i don't know....i just don't know at this point......i'm leaning towards just ONE more round w/ him then calling it quits.....cuz the other clinic i'm considering is further away --- 2 hours one way (currently only about an hour to re's office).... and the way i feel right now, just not up for it.....i mean really, if i go 3rd round and end up w/ same result (where i initially get positive beta.... but doesn't implant......) then i think is probably a pretty good indication that my body just not capable of handling???

again....just more venting...........mind is going a million miles a minute

I know that I have never been through any of this yet, but I truly feel for you. I am really sorry. I understand about not pumping you with hope, I tel my DH that every month if I am 2 days late!!! He will start talking about hoping i am PG. Don't give up hope. Focus on going foward with your next cycle. I know it is easier said then done. :( Take care of yourself. Allow yourself to be sad and cry. Sometimes we just need that.

Jen- Sweetpea, how are ya babe? Image

Wishfull- Hello, what is going on with you? Image

Mia- Come on, I have been waiting all night to hear how you told hubby and his reaction :!: :!: :!: Image

Ok ICSI- This is going to be a little long, sorry in advance.
so, I have a friend who has done 4 IVF with all 4 being BFN. The RE told her (after her 4th BFN) that he wasn't going to do IVF on her anymore because she will NEVER get PG or carry a baby. He told her she would need an egg donor, and a surro. mom. And the cause of their infertility was "unexplained infertility!!" Well needless to say she and DH were upset. They were told they will never have a BIO child together, nor will she ever carry their baby. They wanted a 2nd opinion. Most of their friends thought they were being stupid, that they just didnt want to face reality. She found a new IF clinic, she and Dh went. Guess what, they DID NOT have unexplained IF!!! She was going through premature menopause. So after 2 years with the previous Dr, he NEVER diagnosed her, never caught that she was going through premature menopause!!!! Well her new DR said that their was still a slim chance they could get PG. He said their odds would of been better if she came to him last month. :(
So when she left her first appointment with this new dr, she had a reason why they wer infertile, they had a plan and she left with meds. So when they did the ER, she only had 7 eggs. All but two died. On the day of ET the put back 2, both weren't the best. 2 WW later, she is PREGNANT!!!! Today she is 7 months PREGGO!!!! She has had a healthy pregnancy and her daughter will be here soon!!! So needless to say, my opinion, go to another clinic!!!!! Miracles DO happen!!!!Image

Chriss- I always said I was gonna pick up a baby at Target  That aside, I'm sorry this cycle is coming to an end for you. So I won't sugar coat it for you, I will just offer you cycber hugs and of course an open opportunity to vent...that's why we are here right! It is good that insurance will pay for a few more rounds! Use that to your advantage! I pay for EVERYTHING! That is why I will stick with iui for as long as I can.. Your doc said you fsh was at an all time high this time. Do they fluctuate? Maybe next time they can be lower? Does he want to start right away with stims without doing the bcp? I honestly don't know much about ivf of course so I'm not sure if they can do anything to lower the fsh. I know you have a little bit of time to decide, but have you and dh planned out your next steps?

Angie- ugh girl? What to do? I'd at least make sure all tests (like Mia said) have been done, antibodies etc. Have you talked with the other clinic about their course of action since they have the shared risk program? I personally think I'd take that route since you have just a year left in their age requirement right? I mean IF God forbid it didn't work (but it will it will!!!) you can get some of the costs back and after you turn 35 you could go back to Dr Not So Tactful. That is just my mode of thinking. Of course if the other clinic has a wait list, then requires you to do all testing again etc then you may be out of that age range they require, I dunno, just thinking outside the box here.

Mia- how did hubby react??? Details lady!

Nothing toooo exciting here. I am so ready to poas! I did get word from the company's employee relations attorney that they FINALLY got their shit together and got the right date figured out! I have 4 months and 5 days left in hell!!! Yeh it is far, but MUCH closer than the other 2 dates they were telling me...gotta love how a company that size can make up soooo much bullshit :) ARGH!

ok OBVIOUSLY we were all posting at the same time! haha

Angie- I do have to say even though that other clinic is 2 hrs, I'd say to look into them a bit more. Have you done any talking with them at all about their procedure?

OMG Angie no I totally agree! I just didn't know how much you had really talked with the other guys. I'd hate for you to get all excited about going over there and then them saying yeh we can see you in 2011! Does a consult with them cost much? It may be worth just setting up the apt so you have it and can see what they have to say. You will so know what is right for you once you have all your ducks in a row. But in the meantime your head is gonna be swimming and will be so stressful on you just trying to figure it out. I'm sorry it isn't as simple as yes or no....remember I'm the queen of instant gratification! I HATE being patient...being patient is for sissies haha.

Hi Miracle- yeh well you just haven't been on the chat girlie. I've been around I have no life remember hehe :)

WOOO I just got the call on the interview I had on Weds...I got the job :) So not too bad of a day for me, contract all straightened out and a new job to look forward to! Too bad I have to go to hell today :(

THAT's AWESOME!!! (not the going to hell part)......and they already know you can't start til june'ish -- right??? and is the hospital just a few minutes away but takes forever to get there cuz ALL the traffic in that area is going there --- is that right?? is that the one??? don't have to move for this one??? you take this one over VA???

i think you're right......i should atleast go for consult at other clinic..... i just get into my head that they'll try to be "salesman" w/ me and that just pisses me off --- ya know??? i HATE that this is a business that "competes" for you (translation --- for your CASH) -- least in state of MI where no ivf coverage is mandatory for ins companies.....i just get worried that no matter WHERE i'd go, i'll here "YES, WE CAN GET YOU PREGNANT - DON'T KNOW WHAT THE OTHER GUYS WERE THINKING" --- ya know????? or does nobody else fear that??????? am i just a freak???

Becky - Sorry about the job - just remember its their loss! I'm not getting the e-mail notifications either :(

Chris - you sound so down, I wish I could say something to make it better. I really hope this cycle isn't over for you but I guess you know your body. Image

Angie - sorry you had such an awful follow up with your RE. I don't know what the answer is hun but would it be worth seeing if you can get to see another clinic and discuss your history. They may have other ideas that your RE hasn't suggested, if not then you've lost nothing by asking.

Steph - Image on the new job. You must be so excited to have a way out of hell at last, even if it is a few months away.
BTW Keep away from the pee sticks, its too early!

mia - How are you? How did DH take the news? Can't wait to hear

Jen1d - Thinking of you. Glad the adoption process is moving on for you

Jayne - Good to hear everything's going well. Don't know about you but I feel the time between 12 week scan and 20 week scan is going really slowly.

Hi to everyone else. Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I've been reading just not had much to post. My energy levels seem to be improving during the day at least but I'm still a couch potato in the evenings and in bed by 9pm. My blood pressure is a bit low and my blood sugar seems to drop unexpectedly so I'm feeling a bit wobbly at times but otherwise I'm fine. Just very glad its the weekend at last.
