HOPIN - great to see you here! I think that even if your due date is in September you should stay here! I am sure some of us will get our dates adjusted as well depending on the u/s. CONGRATS on the TWINS!!! Can you please rub off some twins dust on me? Did you get to see a heartbeat at this u/s? I really hope you feel better I am so sorry that you have been so sick, did you check out the BFPs in the Jan/Feb post? Amazing! I edited my previous list to add you and the twins! So excited for you! Hoekey- I hear ya! It used to be no big deal for me to do the PIO shots in the start, now I get really nervous, I hhave had so many big lumps in the past week and pain during the shot, now that I see DH coming and I want to cry... I hate 9-10 pm now I have to sit there for 30 min now so I don't get a big lump, DH is running out of room for the shots!
Rio - thanks for updating the list! I can't wait for next week when we'll see the new u/s results!
Hopin - congrats on your twins! very exciting time. I sure hope that you are feeling better soon. It sucks that you've been sick.
Hoekey - glad your bum is feeling better. I can't imagine the pain!
Geckogirl - I love the sound of your breakie! I've never tried the egg beaters - they are good? Hmm, I should buy them and try them. I think I'll need to start having a protein rich breakfast to get me through to lunch!
As for me, well I got my beta results and they are at 14,600 so I am feeling pretty good. I figured out what my beta is supposed to be if it doubles each day and it should have been around 7,000 so I am moving along! My progesterone was somewhere above 127 which is plenty of progesterone. So, I am now settling in for the long haul!!! Not that I wasn't before, but now I feel very confident that this has worked! Yippee!!
Well, I should finish off work so that I can get out of here and get home to enjoy my long weekend - Monday is a holiday for Ontarians and it is the first time ever for this holiday so we are all pretty excited. Finally a Feb long weekend!!
Have fun!

Can't wait to hear what happens at everyone's u/s appointments!
Hello ladies! Bumpin '08!! I am here to join the crowd! Not too much time to chat cause I have a bad headace and it is late (past my bed time I did not get a nap today). Just for those who dont know me, here are a few facts:
First Time IVF with ICSI BFP!!! (Trying year and a half)
Beta: 12 days 274 15 days 1333. (So we are thinking twins)
First Ultrasound MONDAY!!!
Symptoms:
Just tired a lot...taking naps and going to bed early
mood swings (not bad but there)
waking up at least once in the middle of the night to pee
gagging/dry heaving when brushing my teeth (just started)
sometimes hungry other times not
constipation at times(lol TMI)
lazy/tired...did I mention tired all the time lol
forgetful more than I used to be
belly buldge
So not bad ones, no nausea yet so that is good. Hopefully I will bypass that stage but it is still early.
I will keep you updated and you all keep me updated!

Rio - is there another post you're on? i couldn't find it. BUt if you're putting together a list, my first u/s is 2/29 my first beta was 88 and my second one was 187! Good #s for 1 baby, right??
I have some syptoms which aren't making me feel good, but it's exciting! I am more sensitive to smells, sore boobs (and butt - from PIO!), started having nausea today, but no vomiting yet! I have cramping and a weird feeling in the bottom of my stomach that feels like AF! I want to ask the doctor but I have been reading that it's normal, right?? I guess it means your uterus is stretching and baby is growing?? Oh, and I"m having some back pains and lost my appetite a bit.
What is the Nuchal test you all mentioned? I think we are going to do the Downs test, but I dont know what other ones are there.
Me - 24; DH - 26,
Blocked tubes/hydrosalpinx
1st IVF 1/08, 2/12 - BFP, but empty sac found @ 6.5wks
2nd attempt FET - May
hi, I'd like to join your group I got my BFP on Feb 5th. My first beta at 14 days was 133 then second beta at 16 days was 247, third beta 20 days 1,342, fourth beta 23 days 3,742 I will go for my fourth beta on Monday when I go for another ultrasound. I had an ultrasound on thursday at 5 weeks 2 days and they saw one sac and possibly a yok sac but the tech was unsure. I was a little worried that the yok sac wasn't more visable but she said it was really early and not to worry because my numbers keep increasing. What do you guys think?
This pregnancy is very stressful for me because of my past history this is my third IVf the first I became pregnant with twins, however sadly lost them at 21 weeks due to an infection. 2nd IVf became pregnant again however found out at 5 weeks that it was etopic and lost my right tube. This is my third IVf and I am very nervous that something is going to go wrong. So far my symptoms are that I'm huge due to OHSS (hence the early ultrasound to make sure everything was ok), I occassionally get dizzy, my boobs are sore sometimes but not all the time, cramps every once in a while, I have to pee all the time, tired I take a nap every afternoon for 2 hours and then go to bed around 9pm though when I have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night I then wake myself up for a few hours (this drives my husband crazy) and just today I started with some nausa.
congradulations to all of you on your BFP!! I'm hoping that by joining this board it will help ease some of my stress over this pregancy. I have found it very helpful to read all of your posts.

Welcome moonk! Wow, this thread is really exploding! How exciting!
moonk - your symptoms sound a lot like mine and my doctor said they were all normal. I am sorry to hear about your other losses. I can only imagine how scary this is for you, but it sure sounds like everything is proceeding normally. Your betas are really strong! Hooray! Think it might be twins?
21bat- the nuchal test is a special sonogram that measures the fat roll on the back of the baby's neck. Apparently this can tell the the odds of downs syndrome and if they need to do an amnio.
sugabeanzs - When are you due? I am so excited about your upcoming u/s! I am sorry you have a headache. That is one thing I have avoided so far. Do you think it is from the meds?
Kelly - Great beta numbers! You must be very happy! Do you do bloodwork again before your u/s?
hopin - Congrats on your twins! I think you should stay here with us. As the u/s come in over the next few weeks, a lot of us may be adjusting our due dates. I think this will be a very lucky thread!
Hello my fellow preggo ladies Wow I am still is shock!!
Here is how I broke it to dh: SO... DH came home on Thursday and was really pissed b/c right before he left his manager started all this crap (dh just filed a complaint today with EEOC due to discrimination). So he was so angry but said he was trying to not let it ruin our vday celebration... SO I said well I have a gift for you maybe it will make you feel better. He opened it and saw the shirt and like I thought he didn't get he laughed then he picked it up and underneath the shirt was my pee stick, it took him a while and then he just laughed and said where did you get this. I was like it is real. He says no its not - and it took me about 3 minutes to convince him I am pg! Then he was just in so much shock he didn't react at all. SO I was a bit bummed b/c I expected something bigger - So we decided we needed to go and celebrate and we went to The Melting Pot - fondue place (w/o reservations) and they said if we wanted to wait an hour and a half they could get us a table - so we sat at the bar. Then when we started eating I think it started to sink in and he started kinda tearing up as he was saying a toast to me. We are still really not believing it. But dh started talking about which room we would use for the nursery and he is really excited - it just took a bit to sink in!! I got to tell our good friend tonight (we decided to just tell her for a while) and she was soooo excited and it felt really good to telll someone and talk about it!!
I am really exhausted all day and peeing a lot - still my only symptoms! I have to prepare for my classes tomorrow so I can't do personals - but I will be on later this week!!
hi soon to be mummies
Can you beleive it yet were all going to be mummies well me for the second time so i'm doubly lucky. The worry never stops does it first you worry whether it's going to work or not then you need to worry about the beta and it doubling and then is there a strong heart beat and then has bubbby got all it's bits is it healthy and with in normal limits not to mention how much weight am i putting on am i eating right and the big worry the birth and all the other fun stuff that comes along with being a parent let me tell you it isn't easy but so worth every minute i guess the trick is go with the flow and don't worry about things until you have to and well all have smooth and healthy pregancies. Anyone gone out and brought a pregnancy book yet you'll find them to be such a help i know i looked at mine several times a day its a bit like this site there addictive.
i worked my due date out i'm due the 25th of october which is nice seeing we have so many september birthdays in the family .
Anyone feel like there uterus jolts it only happened once this arvo but can't remeber if it happened last time or not.
Hopin twins thats great i think everyone secretly hopes for twins i know i did, not that it will happen for me this time with only one put back but i'm greatful as i'm sure we all are for whatever happens
Kelly am i right in thinking this was your nineth cycle you must be over the moon i'm so happy for you, your persistance definately payed off
Anyone else got sore legs
i havent checked the rest of the posts yet do we have a due date list or is that getting to far ahead
Take care of yourselves and your bump or bumps (hopin)
geckogirl: I think the headace was due to not taking a nap and not getting enough water....My due Date is Oct. 8 BUT sooner if it is twins I am sure...
I FIND OUT IN 2 DAYS if everything is still going good with my ultrasound!! At some times I still dont feel pregnant so that scares me. I almost like it when I get a symptom cause it means "they" are still there!!
Ladies, have a great weekend I am heading to Jacksonville (2 1/2 hours away) for my ultrasound and staying with my mom. Thus, I may not be able to post till Monday late.

First IVF Jan 2008 Twin girls!
I cannot get over all of the vivid dreams that I've been having and the only meds that I'm on is a prenatal vitamin and a baby aspirin and of course, the Endometrin 3x's a day, so I know that it's not a side effect from anything that I'm taking!
I'm still having headaches throughout the day and I'm just plain out EXHAUSTED!!!! When I wake up in the morning, I'm ready to go right back to bed! And last night I was asleep before 8:30! I guess that it doesn't help getting up ALL NIGHT LONG to pee!!!!! I've NEVER peed so much in my life!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!
Monday I go in for my 3rd BETA. My doctor/nurses don't get wrapped up in the BETA numbers because singletons & multiples can start out high or low. As long as they keep doubling, that's the important thing!!!!!
I just wanted to wish all of you a wonderful weekend! Please know that I'm thinking/praying for each and every one of you!
BABY BUMPS!!!!!!!!
Me 33, DH M/Factor
#1 ICSI 9/07 AF came b4 BETA
#2 ICSI & AH 1/08 = BFP!
At 6 wks sac was empty, 8 wks nothing changed. Went off Endometrin, prenatal & baby asp. At 11 wks had natural, HORRIBLE M/C
Hi Ladies...I was having short of breath problems and the doc told me to go to the emergency room last night...so we did. They couldnt really find anything wrong and my beta at 18dp3dt was 1806. The IVF doc told the hospital to send me home and have me come the clinic in the morning for an ultrasound to look for fluid. They found no fluid....but did see one sac already and with my high beta numbers and with it being really early for an ultrasound they said that it is still possible another sac will still form. I am sooo excited that we got to see at least 1 bean today. The doc said that if it is just one that it will be very healthy and strong due to the beta numbers and already showing up on ultrasound at 5 weeks 1 day pregnant! I go back on Wed Feb 27th for another ultrasound and then I will be released to my high risk OB/GYN doc. I dont have to go back on Monday now for another beta...I am done with those. Yayyy!!! As far as the short of breath problems ...it may just be because I am soo bloated. He wanted me to go back to the emergency room and have them run more tests....but I am gonna wait to see a heart specialist on Monday that I know...and see what he says. Just to be on the safe side. I have a baby to worry about now.
